:slobber: based on the same stuff as the new ocz im assuming from results.?
awesome pair of memory :D
i'll be waiting for the 290+ shot ;)
This looks like some improved OCZ stuff ;)
Good lookin' results there Charlie :D
@Charlie,
Have you switched mobos yet or you're still on Asus? If so, then was that 235Mhz 6-2-3-2.5-1T max you could get 32M stable on a new mobo?
Pretty fun stuff to play with... really FLEXIBLE, reminds me of TCCD in that it'll run multiple timing levels at different mhz. I'm still not 100% optimized here with this new SLI-DR, I'm on 0623/Orange... may try 704-BT later. Optimal voltage seems to be around 2.87v. Here's 280...
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...chmentid=38494
Can it do 2-2-2 @ 200?
Can they break the 300+ barrier?
A bedtime gift for BACHUS ;)
2.5-3-2 is my favorite setting for these sticks... at about 260 they'd be GREAT!
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...chmentid=38495
lol bachus can sleep tight now
when will they come available?
Soon. ;)
I have to take your results with a grain of salt Charlie, you always get results with Mushkin memory that very few can duplicate, like your Mushkin Blue's in the 270's :p:
And the mushkin redline's @ 285mhz..
Impressive results... if all the mushkin 2gb infineon kits are that good... but i doubt it
Keep up the good work ;)
Things are looking good for 1gig sticks ! :toast:
Be nice ;)Quote:

These 2gB sticks look retail to me. Packaging, etc all look like off the shelf. They look similar to the EB's... possibly using the same IC's. My results are pretty consistent with the other users of this IC, right?
C
Nice clocks like always charlie ;)
Sorry if I offended, I was just saying Mushkin seems to have a habit of sending you some of their better sticks... lucky :DQuote:

I'm more than 99% sure they're CE-6, like the OCZ.
I honestly don't know... and I can't pull the spreaders off 'cuz I have to send the sticks back :(Quote:

ooooh is this the stuff you mentioned in the OCZ post which you then quickly editted out so OCZ doesn't get you into trouble :P
Some of us are watching.. ha.
BTW very nice results.
woow, haven't on for a while and so many good 2GB kits just pop out.....
my $$ is saying good bye to me.........
Easy solution to heatspreader issue Charlie, don't send them back ;) Before you do send them back please test CAS 3. Gaspar's CE-6 did 280 at CAS 3 which distinguishes them from other Infineons. Full tweaker shots would be nice.
Even if they can run CAS 2.5 at 265 like my Patriots, that still not enough to unseat the Crucials as the default 2x1gig set for OCers. Would love to see Infineon vs. Crucial at same CPU clock and tweaked to their speed/timing sweet spots. I'm guessing speed still trumps tighter timings.
Here's Corsair's take on the same IC.
Yeah, they're fine at 3-3-2... tested up to 284, believe they'll do 290.
C
Nice results. whats the price tag on those?
did you ever tried to use em on your Dothan rig. i heard that tccd does well with dothans? Im in need of 2g for my rig.
Thanks
I don't have a Dothan rig currently. But these sticks are NOT TCCD, they're something entirely different!Quote:

where can we buy these are they even out to the genral public yet? what will they be called so i can look for them?
thx perc,
Given that you have the ballistix and the patriots Gundamit which is better?
Are the patriots much worse than the ballistix? Ever done max vs max with the same cpu speed?
I'm thinking the first place to look would be mushkin.com... then the "usuals" shortly after that.Quote:

Nah thats not it. What you have will be something else entirely if what Im told is correctQuote:

Nope.
Coming REAL soon
I don't have the Ballistix, but from everthing I've read, I'd still have to say 3-3-3-8 1T 290-300HTT 1:1 beats 2.5-3-2-6 1T 265HTT 1:1 at the same CPU clock speed. I'd love to find out for sure but dropping 300 bones on the Crucial is too high a cover charge to see that show.Quote:

3-3-2-8 is the new one

Are these memorymodules t he same as the one“s wich are tested in the thread?
yes these are the new ones that charlie tested
redline 2GB
Good to see they're out finally!
I love these sticks, I'm sure LOTS of people will like them!!
C
wow... I might have to turn in my corsairs for a pair of these... I am having a heck of a time getting the coirsairs over 260 stable... I thought I had 260 stable also but had a reboot last night during Q4... foo!! still tweaking the bios settings on my new sli-d (the mems are in the orange slots and it's bios 623-3).. but these Mushkies look really nice... I was hoping to get 273 on the fsb stable with 1:1 memory timer.. I don't think I'll get that unless I grab a more capable set of mems...
So @ 277 what was your vdimm set to?
babyelf, is this the one ?
http://www.nintek.com.au/x/Scripts/p...idproduct=3626
lol, i put that in my next build...i didnt even realize the overclockability of these were that good...
i was aiming for somewhere around the 260 mark, seems i can aim a lil higher now
but from what i can tell, yeah, they would be the sticks that charlie has
260 is a nice spot witht hese sticks, you may be able to run 2.5-3-2...Quote:

i just ordered my 2gb kit overnight. will post results. i have ballistix runnin at 260 24-7 and have maxed 'em out at 290ish. Since i run my 3700 @ 260*11 24-7 i'm thinking the tighter mushkin timings will be nice.
Same here :) Too bad I won't be back in Cali until next week to enjoy the hotness but that's life :DQuote:

Yeah man, there are many products that aren't sold here in Europe, or just the price is insane. And if we buy from out of Europe we expend a lot in shipping fees =/
UPDATE:
After tweaking timings I've discovered more mHz out of the MUSHKIN XP4000 2gb stuff... the timings take a bit of "getting used to" but they are really nice sticks.
C
hey charlie
how much more did u get out of it. heck, i havent even gotten a set to play with.
Duonger
that is what im working on right now to get more resellers in EU to stock these.Quote:

just recieved these earlier today. So far i am extremely pleased. I dont feel bad for selling my ballistix now. I wanted memory where i could get some feedback from company reps. Great job Mushkin! Charlie can you post some A64 Tweaker shots? What bios are you using now? I held #1 spot on 2GB OC database for the longest time, lets see if we can get these RedLines to teh top!!

I "think" I read in this thread that they'll be on sale at places like New Egg on the 18 of this month.Quote:

yeahthe 18th is the official retailer date, charlie im with you, ill try to take the intel top.
these do run cooler than Micron IC's. I can't tell you how much though as I have fans over my ram in all my machines. Maybe Charlie can chime in here.Quote:

Charlie, can you let us all know how much more you were able to squeeze out of these, and what BIOS you are using. A64 Tweaker screenshots would be awesome of you too! :DQuote:

Thanks,

No problem, I'll put some up tonight. My new Vapo/Opty/2gB XP4000 rig runs soooo nice, it's not even funny :D I play BF2 non-stop @ 3260mHz, DDR544... the sticks can run faster, but my CPU tops out there... instant loading BF2 maps :DQuote:

I'll NEVER go back to gaming with 1gB... I still like to bench 3D with 1gB, but my REDLINE XP4000 2-2-2 sticks are dead... so I'm kinda' hamstrung for 3D competitive benching.
C
Well, I couldnt wait.. i just ordered them for overnight delivery. Im gonna get rid of my ballistix(run too hot) if they do for me what they did for charlie :) Will post tomorrow after some testing.

this it? is so ill prolly be ordering them tonight

Anyone post A64Tweaker pics?
My Comfortable 24/7 settings are 255*11 for 2800mhz. That's same speed as fx 57. These redlines are beating my ballistix at those settings. Rember this is first run, i havent tried any higher. Take a look :)

Thanks for the link guys, i just sold me ocz 3200 el plat 2x1gb sticks to try out these new 3.3.2.7 sticks but OCZ was all out. Good thing mushkin is making some and they have them in stock. Should be here sometime next week and i will let you guys know how they fare on my new opty 170 0536.
nice tweaking nugz... thats what im aiming for:)
Are these for sale anywhere yet?
Can't wait. My sticks came in yesterday but I don't get back to Cali until Monday. Will be interesting to see what these bad boys can do at 2.7v (max of my ASRock)
International guys are getting shipments Monday. we juust shipped 200kits to UK, Belgium, Canada, Australia.

I can only get it up to 2.5-3-2-7 @240fsb in the yellow slots... cant get them to fit in orange slots till my new HSF gets here. But @260fsb which is my 24/7 target it does 3-3-2-7 2.7v memtest and prime stable. I have alot to learn about tweaking cause i was benching a lil better with my ballistix at same fsb. My main reason for purchasing the ram was to get away from the heat of my ballistix.. mushkin's run cool enough to get rid of the fan i had on my ballistix.
I wonder if the orange slots really do make a difference. Nugzo what bios you using?
Show an A64 Tweaker shot, your timings might be holding you back a bit!Quote:

I cant update my results for a few days to a week as i fried my 3700 sandy at work today. i took it out of my rig to test a suspected DOA 3800 x2, when i put my 3700 back in i got the 3 beeps like the cold boot or memory issue beeps. tried 2 other cpu's in on my board and they worked fine. put my 3700 on known good boards and wouldnt post. DAMN luck of mine. I think imma get an opteron 170 to replace it. I also orderd the DFI Expert board today. I hope It'll pair up nice with the Mushkin Redline 2GB Kit. Charlie do you have the DFI Expert board yet? If so can you post some A64 Tweaker shots please?
where can i buy these sticks besides from the mushkin site?
Here are the new sku's at Newegg,
991492: 20-146-023
991493: 20-146-034
They should be up sometime this week.
Duonger
yup 623-3... working best for me :D
C
Duonger-do u have a date that you could guess? b/c im ordering parts for my comp tonight so that ill have the stuff to play with throughout the holiday, otherwise i wont have any time. btw, do you know if ups/fedex will ship on the holidays?
i dont know how soon newegg will set it up. we have sent them modules for them to take pics and get it up on their site already. you can always get it at our website. fedex and ups are not working on thanksgiving day but they are working the day after.
Duonger
k, thx. i emailed newegg on thursday about it and have had no response yet...
but im definetly looking forward to getting them
Mushkin site has excellent shipping and packaging. Why wait for newegg?
http://www.mushkin.com/doc/products/...ail.asp?ID=273
to save some money, plus i have a preferred account at newegg so i have free shipping and no payments for 6 months
