Have someone with good quality pictures with these Vmods (Vdimm, Vagp, and mayby for chipset too :) ).
I hope someone can write a little story too, what resistors used etc.
I have read, that the P4P800 Vmods works on P4P800-X too, but i havent find any good quality pictures :mad:
If the layout of the board is similar to the P4P800, the mods should work fine. There are Vdimm and Vdroop mods for the P4P800 over at Malves Corner. On the Asus P4 boards, the chipset voltage (Vdd) is usually connected directly to the Vcore supply.

Now, can i use the P4C800 Vagp mod on my P4P800-X, because my chip code is LM324 but i dont have that IC in the end??? And ise ok to use only 50k on that?

The Vagp mod for the P4P800 is the same as the mod for the P4C800, but the LM324 voltage regulator is in a different place on the board. Its ok to use a 50k varaiable resistor for the Vagp mod :)Quote:

Well, i managed to get some pictures of my mb and can you show my where i need to put the resistor and where i can measure later the voltage??? Near the AGP and Near the CPU and RAM.
same mobo as me AND same hsf as me :p

The vagp is prolly the same as the p4c800 vagp mod. Could you measure the resistance between pin6 and pin11 of the LM324 ic? Could you also measure the voltages on the pins i've marked?
And persivore, those guides @ malves use a totaly different board lay-out.
I think that the ic that i marked red regulates the vdimm and the ic that i marked blue can be used for the vdroop.

Can you check the voltages at the points that I've marked please, and check that the chip is an LM324.
Edit: Can you also check what is written on the top of the chip I've circled in the other picture please.

Can you check the resistance between the pin I've marked and ground. I think that pin should be controling Vagp. Check resistance with the power off.
I'll keep looking at the Vdimm mod :)

:banana: :banana: :banana: :woot: I made the Vagp mod and i think it is affecting the nb too, because i set 1,59v @ 1,643v and now i am with FSB253 in the internet but without the vmod i had FSB253 in bios and booting up windows, my PC crashed.

For the Vdroop mod, connect a 100k variable resistor between the two points I've marked. Before modding, check that the point I've labeled reads Vcore. Decrease resistance until there is only a small amount of droop.
do i need to measure these 3 pints what u marked out or only that chip leg???
what happens if i decrease resistance too much? to any mosfets heat up with that???

check the voltage at the point where there is space for a capacitor to be soldered circle with half of it coloured white.
I can't follow the traces on the picture, so its a bit hard to work out any pencil mods :(
If you decrease resistance too much, you could damage the Vcore capacitors and MOSFETs. Vcore will probably be decreased slightly by the mod.

PQI ram with PQI chips on it.

My motherboard stoped responding for 10 minutes with that mod :S ....

connect the pin no 6 with a 50K to the ground.
please check the lm 324 datasheet. i think is pin no 6

This is from my p4p800-se the first is the vdroop with the solder on the chip its to a 100k pot, i think its the p4p800 se i was so proud i took a pic, it was my first vmod.
