3070mhz 1m was on ice water. Yes, I got 20mhz from ice water :stick: Voltage doesn't help at all. Cooled with a eheim 1250 in a 2 gallon cooler, a dtek procore, and a swiffy MCW6002. I get windows file corrupt errors if I try and go over 3050 on water or 3070 with ice in my res... Weird... N4D623 BIOS on my DFI NF4. Higher HTTs work fine with 9x multi. Does this thing just wall or do I have other issues? I've rules out max htt, voltages, and ram.

About to run some 3d :D Maybe try 32m at 3050mhz as well.

awesome overclock dude. How much did u pay for ur 146? You got it 200Mhz over an FX57 so well done, if the 55 is 2.6, the 57 is 2.8 is 3Ghz the FX59? lol. Cant wait to see some benchies in 3d mode

Never tried stock. Went from box to no IHS to water. In windows at 3.1ghz now, MASSIVE thanks to harleybro for saying something about loser mem timings. Raising preamble made a big difference in stability!

Yes ice water. 3d03 hung at 3180, I think 265mhz ram is to high for opteron, at least at these timings. Maybe TRC needs to be raised to 8? I lowered my clocks to 3160 so lets see what happens...

VERY nice AFI!

Good to see that the added voltage did help, too.

I'm popping her cherry in the coming minutes....these temps are outta control, even on water (48C @ 3090MHz, 1.5V). I honestly think a Big Typhoon could out perform my water though :stick:

I don't want to sound nit picky but if 3160 is your max 3d stable then 3250 cannot be considered your max stable. That said i'm very impressed with it and it must surely be primestable at 3100 Mhz or so, which is excellent.

What are the idle/ load temps?

Look in the pics for idle... Load at 35C or so? I don't really pay attention, I was getting slaughtered with AIM messages on my laptop.

I ran 3d01 at 3180 cuz it maxed my ram. I'm sure higher was stable. I'd say 3250mhz 8m a max stable clock...

YES! Yes indeed I do. Forgot to post it in all the excitement. I had to run 8ns async 7ns preamble to get over 3050mhz and I changed from 2-2-2-5-7-13 to 2-2-2-5-8-15 to get 265mhz 3d stable again. I also changed some other timings from 2 to 3. Not sure if it was needed or not.

Japs=pi tweaking gods with win2k3 and sick timings at 270mhz
me=meh tweaker with win xp pro sp2 and meh timings at 232mhz

If I reran now that I can get ram to 270 I'd probably be close to them but I can't take them.

I don't want to thread jack, but, fyi, it ain't even close to it's max ;)

One stick does 283 2-2-2-0 at 3.5V, hasn't even been burned in yet. :D

The other stick ain't as good but it's still GREAT.

As for the issues with them....never noticed.

If I had AFI's cooling I could show you some more stuff from this Redline.... :toast:

Aircooling my 144. Having a weird issue with the cpu at 3050MHz and higher, oddly enough. It's just restarting, no matter temps, voltage, video card, ram, HTT. It gets to the 19th iteration of 1M, then restarts. Pretty annoying, but, a 3ghz on 1.408v aircooled K8 is always nice :)

Cas 1.5 is more stable for me....tras 0 does actually speed things up. CAS 1 reading from A64tweaker is a bug in version .60. Just because there's an asterisk does not mean they don't exist.

Anyway, I hope that helps AFI--if your mem can do it at your clocks ;)

You've got oodles more bandwidth and probably a few more tweaks....my Ballistix aren't nearly as good as yours and my really good TCCD isn't playing well AT ALL with my Opty.

EDIT: just noticed that's not with Ballistix--I gotta figure something out now ;)

EDIT2: I can't break into the 25s at 3175....is that Win2k3?

COLD BUG OVER 325MHZ HTT :stick: Can't boot over 3.1ghz even with excessive vcore. Using SP2004 as a load in windows I've gotten 1m at 3450mhz but mem speed sucks since theres no /13 divider with 10x multi... More to come!

You guys are missing the part that I'm at 3.4ghz+ with SP2004 running in the background ;) Reset CMOS and its working good! Highest stable 1m I've gotten is 3525mhz and a CPUZ valid of it. -31C BIOS temps -65C base. Base is shooting all over the place cuz I had some big DI chunks in there.

All the ice I have left over is packed in the tube and I'm loop 5 of 32m at 3.4ghz. 3d01 @ 3.42ghz 618/604 clocks on my vmodded 12 pipe x800pro got me 38.4k and second place on the orb :D After 32m finishes/crashes I'll grab all my screenies and throw them on my USB drive so I can upload.
