Very nice indeed...but the lack of the second stick of ram in your rig is a BIT of a downer. Ah well, still a WR clock, but with only 512MB single channel I'm not sure how the scores/times will stack up...and going with 2x256MB most likely wouldn't yield the same clock results.....not sure how finicky your mem controller is though.

Just brought it up cus even though it wasn't stable DOTA hit the 100% OC on his 3000+ with 2x512MB of Redline...so it'll at the very least be interesting to see how yours stacks up. Have you tried it out with a second 512 module or 2x256 or did you just throw in one stick 'cus you knew it'd be easier on the controller?

Mine is a 0531 and has trouble to run 2.7GHz stable watercooled.

Was this OC stable enough to run benches at some stage or was it just suicide runs for the sake of a WR?

mine is the same stepping and it's stable @ 2.7 1.42v, 2754 1.46v, 2800 1.51v, 2853 1.55-1.56v. What kind of cooling ?
Is your board an old rev ? Give your cpu more volts :P

I use it but I have always a cold bug around 3400MHz at -45 -57C (bios temp)
it's better with a vapochill and cpu temp at -10 -12 than my cascade :slapass:

LOL I bumped Vcore=1.816 for a half hour (I have watercooling) and LOL my CPU passed 32M at higher speed but now behaves strange and I reburn-in it...

-50C bios at 1.8v I could get 3.7 and more without cold bug but I cant get 3500

we didn't use ricky tweak, just plain Windows XP SP1 with FAT32 format (4096MB)

cold bug? yes... in -42C we have cold bug when loading windows, so we try to keep it beetwen -30 ~ -38 when we boot to windows @ 3450 mhz

that reading is from bios.. we didn't have any digital thermo :stick:

setting you can see in #1 post from ilyas, other maybe just put highest voltage on chipset and LDT :p: .. or maybe iPod help us a little bit to sets the mood :p:

btw : i have also 0517APHW before we test the EPBW.. the APHW maxed at around 3450mhz..while the EPBW can boot easy @ 3450 and this chip like volts until 1.95 v (1.55v x 126%) - reading at cpu-z 1.905v

and still with IHS on :D
