Wow  awesome clocking on such low volts. Very impressive results i have to say...by the way, you always have the fun new hardware to play with. it makes me jealous :toast:

Dam Thats some impressive shyte @ those kind of volts..great core

are these the cores out right now or are these new cores waiting to be released?

Are this the results of the left CPU? The right one shouldn't be an E6 chip?

sai

Right cpu is a 4200+

No look at the stepping... looks almost like first batches that came out of fabs... nice clocking btw.

hope mine does that well! excellent clocks, and excellent volts.

Waiting for more volts... :D

sweet results dude

are the E6 cores the only out now or the new ones waiting to be released? (as someone else asked earlier in this thread)

Windwithme, may I ask you what power supply you used in your test setup? Was it the Topower 520W again, or something else this time?

Wow... My prediction can be truth... kekeke I want 3800+ CD... and waiting :D

i have Topower 520W .CWT 550W.Enlght 420W

now i use Enlght 420W
i buy it about US 50 :)

Is Antec 430W@True Control enough for it @3GHz :D...? Thx

OK, thx for the info. I only asked because I bought two 520W Topowers some time ago on eBay for ~30,-USD each :D (sweeeeeeeet deal) and I wondered if they were still enough for todays S939 setups, especially because of the lack of 24-pin ATX connector and so on.
So I guess they are. :)

Wind buddy, looks like you forgot to unchek the No Affinity areas for both of the SP 2004s. ;) Anyways nice results. :)

wow 2.9GHz @ 1.5v Amazing.. I really look up to you windwithme :)
So if these are E6 cores, they are the 199mm^2 dies with half the cache disabled?
I speculated that cores with disabled cache must be poor quality. But i guess i am wrong looking at your results ;)
Nice work.

omg i can only get 2600mhz at 1.55v.

How much burn in have you done?

very nice, i do only 2700mhz at 1.5v with my sandiego 3700+

Fantastic X2 you got there! Probably you could get 3Ghz as well...
windwithme, have you tried your G.Skill FF's on it?
I'd like to know how is doing the mem controller at high FSB.

i don't want to rain on the parade as these 3800's can hit pretty high clocks, but truly stable ...ie dual prime high FFT's on each core for 9hrs+ will take that 2.9ghz down probably 200mhz if not more.

e.g. i can pass super-pi 32M on each core run simultaneously at 2700mhz @ 1.44v but prime will only run for about 10 mins on high FFT. my chip requires 1.5v to get dual prime stable @ 2.7ghz which i'm not complaining about but puts alot of strain on the mobo ....pwm temps clock over 50c - the 1gb sticks don't help this strain either :p:

all i am saying is dont expect to rush out and buy a 3800+ and have it truly stable @ 2.9 with 1.5v

windwithme - i know this is extremesystems but would like to see some *real-world* stability. ie priority 9 or 10 in sp2004 and no affinity unticked for 6hrs+ :) 1 superpi run on just 1 core is pretty worthless really.

WOW... You're so lucky :)

that's a point. Run it on both cores, see what you can do, since that's the more demanding test of SPi for duel cores.

Very Compliments
I'd Like a amd 64 3800+ X2, your cpu was tested?

Well I think wind would obviously know running SPI or Prime with only a single core is worthless in means of stability for X2 A64s. ;) Anyways, I'd also like to see it do something like a 2.8G with 2 primes running simultaneously with both no affinities unchecked at priorities 9 or 10 for at least 6-7 hours. Shots of 2 SPI results would also be nice. :)

@windwithme : does ur CPU have one core better than another ? My friend reported that... Thx
