yeah thats an awesome chip you have there!
where have you bought it?
Seen your screenie in other thread, I have to say that it looks promising :toast:
Tell us where you got it, what cooling etc.
Wow, that looks nice. Where and when did yiou get that chip? Gives me hope for my inbound 3200+.
You should run GCPUID as that would show the revision (E6) correctly - as it seems as though cpu-z needs updating.
where are you guys getting the E6 stepping chips???
i am in australia i bought from some small as shop!!i using the stock fan for cooling and just testing,i got TT big thypooh just lazy to take off from my old 0517 EPMW hehe.
Looks nice, maybe equal or slightly better than a good week 17. Hopefully they will be this good consistantly.
man... what is up with all these 3000+ hitting a wall at 2700 and 300htt :( stupid mobos holding back great chips!
very nice chip, I hope I can find one to replace my current crap 3000+ chip
LOL AZN. Need ta get past 300HTT get a DFI Lanparty :D.
BTW AMAZING overclock man. Stock cooling? I bet you'll hit 3ghz w/the big typhoon w/the right settings. :slobber:
can you post the whole stepping? :)

ok update 3G on 1.55 V stock cooling but prime95 fail after 2hours i am working now
very nice chip you have there eage, that looks like the new stepping are better than the olds stepping, we jest need to wait and see if another chips wite the same stepping can go and fo your nambers. :toast:
Anyone know what steppings ewiz is sending out now? Thanks.
WOW !!!
does that mean all 0525+ week are E6 ? :slobber:
I want one! Wonder if monarch has these yet, I may just have to stop by today. :)
which shop, location, link, price?Quote:

If it doesn't scale with vcore what the fuzz :D
Just kidding. Give it something to work with asap!
Quite good, but not as good as some week 17 chips... Some of those chips do 2700 with 1,3V.
I have heard that the only difference is a reduction of lead used in the cpu because of some new regulations RoHS i believe it was but i dont now
I just picked up a 3200+ Venice retail at my local Micro Center.. Heres the codes.
ADA3200DAA4BW
LBBWE 0526MPMW
The dude there said its a Venice core but i thought they ended with BP on the first line????
The box model number is ADA3200BPBOX.
Is this the same E6 stepping your taling about?
Ada3000daa4bw
Lbbwe 0525apmw
ok as for some ppl needs me to do the large FFT prime95 here is.going oversea tommrrow,i will do more when i back http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b1...1981/large.jpg
Yes thats an E6.Quote:

so would newegg classify these chips as a manchester?
Its single core so why would it be classified as a Manchester? Its still a Venice with a few bug fixes and possibly a packaging change to meet EU regs on lead. Just thats its a E6 venice not a E3 Venice. :)Quote:

with the IHS removed and water on it it would've surely done something like 3.1ghz prime stable... imagine it on phase change... sigh... i hope this E6 revision will give me the chance to get something as good as that again...
eage - where did you buy it from???
damn...I really want one of those
Ouch, sorry to hear that bud. I had 704 but luckily I wasn't using the 123% + upwards. That bug took out some damn fine chips. I spose that's the risk we take on beta's.Quote:

I just bought an E6 chip, i'll post results when it comes it (probably tuesday...ordered it too late). The top line is ADA3000DAA4BW
update 2.81G 1.39V PRIME STABLEhttp://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b17/EAGE1981/2.jpg
and i still on 20pins PSU 400W THERMALTAKE COME FROM MY CASE!!what is good PSU in market now BTW?
the vcore is not stable, sometimes 1.37V sometimes 1.38V sometimes 1.39V The screen shot above is 1.39V ,but most time is 1.38V ,i think i need a more stable PSU!!
That's normal, i get fluctuations from 1.648 to 1.68... i just call it 1.66. I think if you have a heftier +12V rail then it won't fluctuate as much
how is antec turecontrol2 500W?any good?
holy :banana::banana::banana: dude, i wish i waited 2 weeks and got one of those. i got a week21 3000+ venice, and its stable down to 1.08v, but so far i can only get to 290x9 1.616v. ill try for higher, but thats a lot of volts. whats the max safe voltage for me on an xp-90?
I'd say the safest voltage for any air cooling is around 1.65vQuote:

I just ordered two of these babies to replace the poor overclockers my brother and I got, mine is a week 21, his a week 22. Should have them on Tuesday.
Goooooooooooooooooooood!!!!!
Great!
Hm great to see these 3000+ overclock so well, but doesn't it bother you to be limited by the HTT most of the time ? That's why I don't get any 3000+ and 3200+
read wrong?
Thats quite serious.Quote:

but would anyone venture to get why this new revision? e3 -> e6?
aren't e6 reserved for dual core chips? are these possibly rejected dual core chips with one core disabled?
any guesses or speculations?
A new PSU is not in my budget. Feel free to donate ;).Quote:

I think I am going to pick up one next week.Hopefully from ewiz
Who knows that stores online are sending the E6 in USA at this moment?
Thanks
How can we check if we're using 704? I updated my bios a while back but I dont remember the number.Quote:

Are there any E6 rev chips for San Diego cores?
I'm still trying to figure out what the rev E6 is... I thought E6 was dual core.
E6 to my understanding is an improved core based on the current stuff which runs at 1.35V stock. It's also labeled on the IHS 1.35V.
I run at 1.28 stock :)
But then again, its just my mobo being weird
I still am not convinced that these new ones overclock any better than E3s.
It's just the heat output. Lower voltage rating means lower heat output, means higher potential for stable overclock. Just like how mobile chips tend to clock better than desktop stuff.
Socket 939 E6 Stepping :
ADA3800DAA4BW
ADA3500DAA4BW
ADA3200DAA4BW
ADA3000DAA4BW
Sempron Socket 754 E6 Stepping :
SDA3400AIO3BX
SDA3300AIO2BX
SDA3100AIO3BX
SDA3000AIO2BX
SDA2800AIO3BX
SDA2600AIO2BX
SDA2500AIO3BX
That sound good :x
Maybe not what the old E3's were doing(week 16-19) but seems far better than the newer E3's so far.Quote:

Thanks for all Friends
just ordered 2 3000+ BW's from eWiz!!! can't wait
i will post the steppings on here when they come
So all S939 E6 are currently only for Venice?
i got mine from a kid who bought it from e-wiz so yeah try e-wiz thats where this E6 came from...
peace.
also bought one from ewiz...will post results on tuesday (or whenever it gets here).
k I have 510-2 by Hellfire. is that ok?
3000+ BW headed my way from ewiz also :)
Me too...
If anything, it's good and cheap for my first attempt at a phase change setup. That is, in case I should mess something up. ;)
Haha I was planning to use it on my first test run with my new dice container. Would hate to kill the 3200 in my sig :slap: Should be interesting to see how these E6's perform under -0 temps :toast:Quote:

my 3000 hit a wall at 2700mhz using 1:1 300x9 2700mhz 2.5-3-3-8 wich i thought strange cause it did the same 2700mhz it did on phasechange on its box cooler and it didnt seem to make a diff how much voltage i gave it  . all in all deff a great chip for the 120 i paid! but i had to sell it off .. i needed somthing with a bigger multi cause 300x9 wasnt getting it. not when your used to running an FX-53 at 3gigs 24/7....
peace perc,
The 3200 was being cooled by dry ice. Sry no thread on it really, but I'll be sure to document my new endeavors very well here at XS. :)Quote:

That cpu is really one of the nicest I've had the pleasure of playing with. Here's what it did on a stock mach2 before I sold it to Meatfrog:Quote:

Is there something i'm missing here??? My new 3200+ E6 chip dont wana play past 2500-2600 no matter what voltage.. What a tease!
I had up to 2900Mhz memtest stable i thought... ruffly around 1.5-1.6v.
This is my first Venice chip so is there some setting in the bios that needs to be set to get this thing stable?
I've tried some old BH-5 and some TCCD LE ram and same crap!
Oh oh...My e6 chip comes in tomorrow...wish me luckQuote:

Damn, I don't like the sound of this. I think Eage just handpicked these chips and happened to get an excellent one? You can get these results too if you handpick enough LBBLE. I think this whole E6 OC superiority crap is going to turn into a big nothing.Quote:

I found out that there was a new revision Venice and ended up posting on ocforums about it, as well as ordering one as soon as I noticed the new stepping.
Mine should be coming by the end of the week. I did ground shipping from ewiz for a total of $126.XX.
I hope it owns my current Venice LBBLE0524 at 303x9 on water.
What date did this new revision come out?
Hopefully someone will take the IHS off their E6 cpu. The die size should confirm if these are failed Manchester X2s or not.
Well my week 26 E6 chip will run so far at 2650Mhz if i change from cas 2.5 to 3.. Strange.. Must be a crappy mem controller. Havent tried farther with the new setting yet.
tried using mem divider?

Correct. If they are failed X2 cores, they would be 1MB cached Toledos.Quote:

just got a pair of LBBWE 0528 CPBW from ewiz (UPS delivered 5 minutes ago)
will start posting results tonight
Here are some pre-results, I just got mine, and booted it up. I tried 300x9 on stock volts, no go, so i tried 290x9, 285x9 works for now. I'm gonna play around with it a bit.
LBBWE 0528 CPBW.

Did anyone else notice that the OP's "e6" chip had a FF0 CPU-id number while evetS-'s chip has a FF2?
according to this the OP does not have a E6 but a E3... While evetS- has an E6...
OP--- :slapass:
But why did OP say the p/n he has is Ada3000daa4bw which is clearly a E6 rev.Quote:
