This is my first night of playing with this chip on my pc ice cascade. it's looking good so far...

I doubt that. HT system takes about 7% of core. And in PD it`s just turned off. So those 7 percents won`t increase heat so much.Quote:

Sweet, very nice speeds. I love my P5WD2-D
I made the mounting and Reggie probably made the block. I can tell its one of the most recent made. I remember the bit getting some material fused to it and leaving those brown circles in a few spots before I caught it.
The bolt spacing is perfect for 80MM fans to slide onto, use two more nuts to adjust fan direction even more or secure fan better.
I also have plenty mounting for that block to fit ATI and Nvidia. Not sure if you got those with your block and mounting.

ok guys i know i have been taking a really long time to get these benches done but i have been very busy and i want i don't want to have to keep posting updates so i'll post them when i feel i'm done.
what's a good cinebench score these days?

a good cinebench score hm, some high clocked X2's get like 30-32sec if I remember correctly so somewere in between 30-35sec, that is when you use the dual cpu/multithreaded cpu test ;)

I know what you mean though, I work 10- 8:30 almost every day all week long (lifeguards don't get the weekends off :( )..... it's hard to make time for anything else, and I'd say your girl is more important than a computer. :)

I have repaired in some foruns, the maximo that it is obtained to give with the 830 is about 4200 with watercooling.... right?

having trouble myself just going above 14x300 with my 820
tried 1.6-1.7vcore and it just acts all funny...
ran a couple of sandra tests and one scored me 100+K integer but 5k float! :rolleyes:
another got me 50k/10k lol and ram benchies were even worse 69K/68K bandwith ? wtf?
did get a nice 31 sec super pi so far with ram at 600mhz tho
but cant seem to get it higher
/me looks around for beta bios's for p5wd2 and looks into cinebench
hey lads....
got my 920 up to 4.5ghz on water, can bench but not 100% stable......im on low volts at the minute but im not sure how far i can give more volts....
its 4.4ghz stable at 1.45v
