Reboot counter doesn't work properly, Intel has booted at least 4 times it also crashes apps all the time, and AMD keeps on running.Quote:

AND Intel managed to encode Divx movie several minutes with 0% CPU usage.. amazing :)
AMD has PSU that is faulty, 12v is often at 11.2v and that is too low.
Hans.Gruber I see you follow this test hole time. Nice work. The results looks suspicious to me too. It looks like Intel only converts movie. But as you sad apps crashes all the time, that I might just guess that DivX works rather stable. And Intel puts all it`s power on that.
and some ppl says that thg reviews are good :/ i just put this because is interesting to see how they work under extreme load.
the last stress test was the same problem with psu
I would be much more intrested if they were testing 2-4 way servers that run SQL and some PHP or ASP.Quote:

THG reliability testing is mostly dependent of the software, and first person shooters are NOT made to run 24/7. :D
btw. that choice of music is quite intresting, maybe it tells us something about THG.. ;)
That is about the most retarded stress test.
Using the BTX heatsink without BTX case and shroud. Lets take the cooling shroud off our car radiator and drive it across the desert.
They did that last time. Someone needs to give them a clue about BTX standard.
they are using the btx heatsink ????? i tought it was the normal one
http://www.tomshardware.com/cpu/2005...s/cooling2.jpg
Yep BTX and no shroud...
Of course it is going to fail, that is what they want.
The memory modules being used this time are from OCZ - 1 GB DDR400 (CL2.0-2-2-5) for the AMD platform
1 GB DDRII-667 (CL4.0-4-4-5) for the Intel system.
I am sure sure they are making OCZ look good with this. I am also sure they have the memory at DDR400 at those timings.

sorry fugger that is not the normal cooler that comes in retail box now???
the btx is not with a black box like a tunnel or im wrong?
To me it looks nothing like BTX cooler, fins are different..Quote:

^^ that is the cooler i said with the black box
Intel sent out white box heat BTX heat sinks.
I am willing to be that was from a previous genreation of P4's and not the beefier 840EE sink as well.
Notice there is no shroud on the fan. just a fan spinning in the air.
isn't THG intel biased?
I think it`s standart cooler used in ATX cases. And this is how it sounds : http://files.hardwarebg.com/ftp/bloo...40-cooling.avi
heh is this good for a 1k $ processor ??? Intel :stick:
cooper is that video real OMG that sound like tumble dryer if my hsf sound like that i can kill somebody is anoying
Looks like Intel is having big problems. They had to change mobo to ASUS.
that hsf is exactly like the one i had for my 2.8E lga775...it has a copper core, but man, intel should have a better one for that 840EE...amazing that amd's stock cooler is still just a run-of-the-mill cooler and it seems to work rather decent
btw, i am amd-bias :D
AMD fanboy also but I hoped intell would give'm a nice run for their money.
Looks nice so far. BTW I do to think the results are biased, low temps on the intel (WTH, INTELL AND LOW TEMP? Remember these are dual prescotts if I remember correctly)
But I just KNOW AMD will rock intell's buttucks :p:
:slapass: :slapass:
Entity Razer you remember correctly. Also the numbers of reboots always changes. heh THG :slapass:
:)
AMD will rock your world :p:
amd will double rock your world with that athlon x2 running a strange pcp&p 820w because all voltages are weird and 3 intensive cpu usage programs and with stock hsf is cool and without reboots
Intel has fried 2 MB's and they restarted the test, and they updated that article.
They now have only 1 GFX card.
Looks like this time Intel is faster in 2 out of 4, i wonder why is that ?
Intel dual core is running at 90 C right now....ouch.....
OMG....now its over 90 C
Quick, someone get a fire extinguisher!!!
no we can use the intel chip to boil water xD
I'm almost certain that is NOT a BTX cooler. It looks similar to all the stock ATX socket775 Intel coolers I've ever seen and just like the one that I've seen in site reviews of the P-D:Quote:

that is a joke of review they should take out that website out of the internet 100+ amd working and what they did just resest everything
ummm why did the intel reboot number move from 4 down to 0 and where did the intel sli system go? (picture only shows one card and not sli)
me think thg needs to spend more time testing their way of making this review work.
Intresting stress test, the other fails - Intel - and they replace parts for it, and then they reset counters to make it "fair".. lol.
Imagine 50000 miles test of 2 cars where other gets it's engine and other parts replaced every 1000 miles.
Fact is that Intel has fried several MB's, it is not reliable.
Test should have ended, and they should have said that AMD is the winner.
Remember, Intel did not fail becouse of defective parts, those parts were just like they were designed to be.
And now the Intels winning, pathetic, AMD's DivX hasnt moved in ages too, yeh rite, whatever, there had better be a fantastic explanation for this, it makes me angry, people screwing with results like this, it gives potential customers a flawed view of the performance landscape at any time, leading to bad purchase decisions, a waste of money (certainly from the rate the intel's going through motherboards :D ) and a waste of time. I've known 12 year olds who could tell that this is BS. Bad Bad Bad THG :slapass: !
what the hell. after the intel going bonkers they changed the motherboard and pulled one of the intel sli video cards. they have now just pulled the one of the sli sli video cards from the amd system (even though the amd was doing fine) to make up for the intel not being able to run constantly with it.
lastly does any see the temp of the p4. it shows it hovering around 90c since they switched the motherboard!
honestly thg is pretty well screwing this whole thing up. this is quite sad. they still haven't changed the intel counter back to 4. anyone else followin gthis crap. i can't wait to see what their next update says. they better not try to cover up anything.
er.. thats a pretty cruddy BTX cooler if thats what it is..
Anyways, they've pretty well screwed up the entire "stress test" reguardless of which way they're trying to swing.
