Small & Quiet 24/7 chilly .

Hi all .

Last days i decided to build a small chilly for 24/7 use . Quiet Easy to use and compact , was the target :) .

Lets starts from the case .

4 pieces [67X27cm] and another 2 smaller [27X27] of plexiglass . Cutted 3X holes for 12cm fans [2in and one for exhaust] , and mounted whells [from my cm stacker :D] .

The floor of the case dressed with 1cm silver color insulation to avoid the noises of waterpump and compressor .

With litle fine tune on insulation of tubing maybe goes -25 [hard but maybe :slapass: ] [hope dies last :D:D]

Notice the 3 fans [intake compressor - intake condeser and another one behind of condesser ] are cooler master noisless , and the system is xtremely quiet as i planed to built it . :) , [the exhaust 12cm fan is always off , becouse the air goes out from it self,,, ]

winchester 3.0+@2.75 1.55 vcore , and the dfi nf4 reports 5c idle , 12 load , and with the laser thermometer on the block -5 ~ 0 :)

Condesser shiped from Unseen , the cost is around 30 euro ~ good choise for a compact phase change
The case was easy 2 built , but need attention in the holes and the attachment of the iron angles . Good quality plexiglass required also 2 handle the weight of chiller/ .

Gpu block soon , :)

Yes :) 3/16 tubing around 5 meters / . Unseen made it and shiped to me .

i plan 2 build another one by my own , pics soon . :)

I don't see a lot in dark photos, can you shot a few of better photos?

First thing I did notice, is filter, you did it wrongly, filter's outlet have to be directed
to Earth's core..

I`d be tempted to try that myself, but the gas charging part and the welding would mess me up. Can you please give a link for the compressor? Is there any other way of attaching the HX without welding it on?

it depents off the manufacturer , mine is totaly quiet , it does litle noise for 1 minute when it starts and after that minute works totaly silence.

I got a 5400btu air conditioner sitting ready to be broken up... its a 1/6th or 1/5th hp compressor. Wish i had planne don using one :)

metro.cl @ i switched to single stage and i dont running it any more [i have it here sitting and waiting for some 6800gs sli powa :hehe:] , but with my old good winnie i had 0c[idle] 15c[load]~ from dfi ite smart guardian at 2.95ghz~ 1.5vcore~ [block temps -10c[idle] 0c[load]

fhpchris @ i took the pieces precuted from a glass store . I only make the holes for fans - cables - tubes , and of course connect the pieces each other. [my excellent English going better and better :hehe: ]

ps: get some coil cleaner and the copper will shine like a new penny and the aluminium like silver. you just spray it on let it sit awhile and rinse with water.

Theres an old Air conditioning unt in my back yard, I miught rip apart and see what she has to offer me..
I have done no research on this as of yet, but I have been thinking about it an awful lot..
