newegg is out of stock, where else do you see them?
I saw FX-55 san diego at overclockers.co.uk but its out of stock[1-3 days]
You would be correct ALXgr, they are mighty good at getting the new stuff first. Nice they are local too :toast:
germany and austria ;)Quote:

nice, im waitin to see the nf 90nm in action, and it will be soon i guess :toast:
Crap, they are actually in stock over at Overclockers!! What a price though. Literally double the cost of my 3700!! More!!
Overclockers don't usually lie about their stock status either. Who's gonna go for it then?
haha, overclockers dont' lie about stock status, loads of stuff doesn't turn up when they say it should. they constantly talk about shipments "being stuck in customs so a small delay", yes this is true, sometimes, but not all the time. its a very good method, say your stock is in sooner than anyone else and they get the pre-orders, very few people can be bothered to cancel order when they are delayed , especially since contacting them is getting harder and harder.
either way, i'm happy with my 3700+ for now, and when the 4400+ is available thats my next cpu, though i'm tempted to get one, play with it for a couple weeks, bench it and sell it on.
for the UK folk. scan have started listing them as well. priced about £30 less than overclockers ( £586 to ocuk's £616 ). sadly no word of when stock is due tho.
i'm tempted, really tempted, fancy another FX, just don't want to be first.
someone get it and test it ASAP. This should be pretty sweet.
what's wrong with that? :p:Quote:

i alreadymade a thread about this

Cheaper price too, £550.
I still think it is better to wait for FX-57.

Andy
i never buy gear from overclockers.co.uk anymore and i use the chance to burn their reputation with every chance i get.
their CS is quite pathetic ....eg i had a order for well over £1000 which had some kind of billing problem, well i could never get through to them on the phone and they had cut the email so the only way to contact them was thru fax. so i never bothered to chase it up and they never tried to contact me even when they had my home+mobile no. and my email address......hilarious.
another store got my business and i continue with them for nearly everything and totally avoid that 'other' store completly - and i'm not alone.
Hee hee, that was me, being delivered tomorrow hopefully. Great price for an FX too. :banana:Quote:

Sorry guys, got some real problems with the chip. BSOD after welcome screen at stock voltage. Reformatted hard drive, but could not even reinstall windows. Going back to the old FX55. Too bad.
Can you try up the LDT V. control to 1.3 or 1.4 and chipset vc to 1.7?
You probably need to stick a more recent bios on!

I can't believe an Ecommerce site junked email !!!
Yes Stu, you were right. After watching OPB, I moved up to the 414-3 bios, things are looking alot better now. Had to disable SLI to reinstall windows, will try to enable SLI a bit latter. Still recovering. :)

I cannot wait for the results. Where my processor ends, this one begins :)
Where is the least expensive place to find these new puppies?
NewEgg is most common place for decent e-tailer pricing and they have itQuote:

Here's a place with an iffy resellerrating but will charge less, if they actually have it in stock. CompuHQ.comQuote:

They have it listed as 130nm, but manufacturer part is
ADAFX55BNBOX<--San Diego.
... no stock available at Sparco. $842.08 is a great price, but I wonder if they'll honor it when the stock arrives.
I hope they get more stock this week, if they do at that price i am sure they
will go very fast. :)
The FX57 will be out soon, I'm selling my two new FX55's to buy one FX57
