Hello there fellow Xtreme OCers, AGAIN!!!

Going by the example of my NF3/NF4 & TCCD - Highest stable clocks - REPORT IN !!! I decided to start another thread. This time, it's about to show off your BH-5/BH-6/UTT Stable OCs!
Oh yeah, baby! Dust off those good 'ol BH-5 LvL IIs, KHXs, LLPTs you still have, BH-6 or spanking new UTT sticks! Give 'em hell, rev 'em up and brag about it here!!!

But... It's not Spi1M or Spi 8M... Those benches are for wusses :lol: We need some 32M stuff.
Yeah, you guys heard right - 32M calculation

So, for instance, if you have a set of BH-5/BH-6/UTT that breaks DDR500 with no sweat @ 5-2-2-2.0-1T (or CAS1.5 if you wish) w/ SPi 32M and min. x9 multiplier then I want to see it ;) It would be very appreciated if you could add Sandra, but A64Tweaker screen is a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED at same exact settings that forementioned SuperPi run was made... Also, try to make it your BEST run, so we can compare later. Just to give others an idea how to make theirs BH-5/BH-6/UTT perform stable at higher speeds ;)

Nobody really knows for sure if those UTTs from Winbond are REALLY "new BH-5/CH-5". This might be also old stuff, being just punched out again. Unless you bring a Winbond guy here, that will tell us that, we can't be 100% sure :lol:

I ran my 4x 512M BH5 in this same system, 225Mhz is max stable point. BH5 also has a coldboot issue, a real pain if I turn power completely off....have to remove all but ONE stick, power up, then warm-power down and put the others in.

My other 4 sticks of Tinwmos... 3200 SP... have vrious troubles in this system. 2 Sticks are voltage averse and flake out over 3.25V, one of the high volt sticks is only good to 240-245Mhz, the 4th stick is a 260Mhz keeper equal to the original 4 sticks of TMII that do 260Mhz 4x512M 2T.

I tried HELLFIRE's mod'd 5/10-2 bios, is good so far for 3.3V rather than 3.4V operation of the rams. SO same speed at .1V lower setting.

The BH5 cold boot thing was on all versions of the bios...1/25 3/10 5/10-2 and Hell510-2. The system hangs at 3 LEDs on cold boot, like it cant make the CPU test to MEM test transition. Wondering why, but only Oskar has the source code to the boot code, so I have no idea.

I have seven 512 XMS3500 sticks and the pair above is the WORST! I tested each stick in SC on the 4PCA3+ board and they did from DDR504-519, 2-2-2-5 at 3.28 VDIMM. The sticks above did 504/506. Been burning them in for 1.5 years.

Not bad for ram circa 2002 ;). One stick has BH-5 on one side and CH-5 on the other (at least the nibs are different on one side).

Managed to get them trough at 279.3 @ 2-2-2-5 today.

OK b_a, I'll give you what I got atm on my 2x512 OCZ VX 3200. It's probably worth noting that these 3200's were purchased well before they started binning for VX4000. Time could be better, but I was doing this purely for the sake of the thread, not to beat any of my old scores or anything, not that the Venice would. I think with these sticks right now, the only thing keeping me out of the 270's is VDimm. I'm running off a jacked up +3.3V rail and 3.55V+ seems to be the limit for stable VDimm. 3.6V droops and running off the +5V on this board just doesn't work well. I may give that another shot though. I should be back in here later this week with some Redline results too. :)

Not a big deal :). I don't have the ram in the board anymore.

I didn't know you was supposed to open all those boxes on the same screen. But come to think of it, I guess that does work, and the purpose of that is to prevent cheating (though if you're careful, you can crop the shots and combine them).

I plan on upgrading my 120 mm fan blowing on the ram so I may get a tad higher with the same sticks. Above 267 the first two #5 loops are clean but all hell breaks loose on the 3rd-4th.

Hi BA... nope the sticks are 4 512M AA4T UTT-CH based. Plain old TMII from back in March. They were the 4 best sticks out of 8 TMII sticks I sorted. Sticks 5/6 are sitting 230Mhz 1T in NF7-S and 7/8 are sitting 220Mhz 2T in another NF7-S.

My 4 sticks of Twinmos SP 3200 ...AA4T also havent fair as well, 2 of the sticks suffer HIGH voltage issues and coldboot issues in NF4.

I have 2 sticks of the new BH in there now, not doing so great. 250Mhz but if 1T is used memtest 1.55.1 test#8 fails regardless. Im sure its probably a setting somewhere, but Ive tried everything in the bios so far. They dont run beyond 210Mhz in NF2 systems.

The nice thing about the UTT-CH chips was the fallback for not "great" sticks, they'd at least do better in NF2 systems then even most GOOD BH5 sticks, so the 4 of 8 that didnt pass muster found good homes that were still a heck of an improvement.

Im really bummed, I have new OCZ ValueVX BH based sticks, and they wont even do stock 8,4,4,2.5 @ 3.0Vdimm 200Mhz with 1T in this board. This is the same board that does 260Mhz 8,2,2,2.0 1T with 2x512M UTT-CH and 250Mhz 4x512M UTT-CH 2T.

I got two sets, but one is dead, so I cant test 4x512M yet. I suppose if 4x512M still does 250 @ 2T Ill live. The good set does do 260Mhz 2T but anything over 180Mhz it fails test#8 in memtest 1.55 with 1T.

This makes for a 300MB/s loss in bandwidth in memtest, dropping to 2T....over 10%.

WHERE can we still get UTT-CH based ram? Rumor has it even 3200/4000 VX is now been BH-ified.

All I want is a second set of 4 512M UTT-CH sticks so I can match my brother's system with my own....ugh.

uwackme, I can sell mine to you but you will have to give me a pair of GSkill PC4400 LE as exchange ;)

Im going to give OCZ a shot, RMAing the bad set, if 4x512M work fine 250Mhz @2T then Il live with it. OTherwise, Ill sell off this BH.

I'm new to screenies so didn't know you are supposed to open everything on one screen (duh).

I got the sticks back in and reran it. Even gained a few seconds over last time :). Again, 2x512 XMS3500 at 267x10 @ 3.63 VDIMM - would you believe the worse pair of seven sticks I have!

Nice bandwidth because I setting very good timings, no bad timing for show high frequency :)
