...and...
...
.....
WOW. Is that yours?
If so, you're as lucky as the other guy with his 1.8a @ 3600
:toast:
......BUT.....I don't like the Memory bandwidth even with my ram at Cas 2-2-2-6 at 1:1 ratio......
Yeap....It's mine....I just got it...... ;) :DQuote:

Congrats ! Very nice overclock ... :toast:
What cooling, mobo etc ...
awesome..just awesome...
ABIT IT7-Max2.....Prometeia cooling.....with Swiftech MCX478 + Delta fan 5900rpms could do 3573MHz....
What is the highest stable spped? what is the vcore at this speed? awesome chip.. :)
It runs stable at 3573MHz with 1,675Vcore....Quote:

Wholly crap! That is a nice ass bench. Are u cooling it with a prometeia?? I joined the INtel Reseller Program, can i get 1.8ghz chip c1 stepping for cheaper price??
To get one of those you have to be "lucky" somehow....Quote:

To bad about the memory scores. But still, 1 hell of an oc.
Hipro5
Run an unbuffered bench on the ram m8, im sure you will find it very fast:)
Goto find me one of these beauties to play with now:)
where did you get this chip?
Very nice!!!!!!
awesome.Quote:

BTW- your memory can run @250 mhz if I remeber correctly..so you can run it with the 4:5 ratio.
I'll ask too. where did you get the chip???
Yeah Ted when he tells you tell me ;)
what's the stepping of that chip so that i can order one from intel! :)
I'll try it bigtoe.....Nice to see you around....;) :toast:Quote:

My memory can do 256MHz(512MHz DDR) but....this Mobo don't allow to run at 4:5 ratio....As soon as I get a ABIT IT7-Max2 V.2 I'll try it....;)Quote:

It's a Pentium4 1,8GHz C1 Stepping with these specs: SL6LA,Malay,42 week of 2002(on chip)Quote:

There you go with a PCMark2002.......
.....and a forgoten S-Sandra Multimedia
many many congratulations !!
awesome overclock! :slobber:
Thank you guys....Just got lucky with this chip......
hipro5,
Very nice OC!
Sweet chip you got there :)
Excellent OC turbohipro5... it seems that these babies can really rock
BTW,
what vcore is that running at??
There you go.....passing 3,7GHz....... :D
At 3600MHz it works with 1,65VCore.....At 3717MHz with 1,775VCore....If I feed it with more VCore....nothing happens....same thing......;)Quote:

Grats, that is a sweet chip you got. Very impressive FSB too.
Amazing overclock my man. I'm really interested in how you have ram that runs DDR512. highest I've ever seen was 494 by OPP. Mind telling us what ram, and voltages get you those speeds?
512Mb Corsair XMS3200 C2 at 256MHz(512MHz DDR) with Cas 2-2-3-7 and 3,51Vmem.....;) :DQuote:

don't push the vcore to high, or you'll end up with one dead CPU :-/
Hipro5,
excellent overclocking there :)
I'm still drooling over that 1.8A which did 3.5 GHz in air stock voltage though ... damn I would kill for that chip.... running 1:1 ratio high FSB so rocks...
3.51Vmem...ach...Amazing, and at very nice timings. How are you managing to crank the voltage up so high on your board...What mods?Quote:

ella re?
good job, nice to see greeks work it out. Crazy FSB speeds there.
omg i just about crapped myself when i saw this, cause im getting a 1.8 C1 soon, outta a dell :D it should be a C1 rite... and i think it would be a good investment to get a prometeia. :stick:
Thanks man....:toast: ...You're doing GOOD too....;)Quote:

Imagine this chip on a GB Mobo....wouldn't it "rock"?....:D

Thats pretty good m8...thing is when you test it further it will prove to be faster than ddr400 using the 3:4 or 4:5 ratio.I know your looking for the 4:5 so that you can push the ram even further but sometimes running 1:1 can prove to be quicker.
Nice work m8:)
I think I'll stay at this speed and with this Memory bandwidth......don't you???
;) :D :D
and thats stable? :slobber:
Stable what?....The CPU or the memory?....The CPU is stable at that frequency....the memory...NO WAY....It's OK at 250MHz(500MHz DDR)+......
500 DDR aint too bad ;) hope my 1.8 can do some of that.
Updated Pi-fast bench.....
That's some sick memory you have there! And not to mention a very sweet 100% + overclock to boot!
Uhhh, you serious?Quote:

Hey - I've been lurking on this forum for a couple of months (biding my time!) but now having read this thread, I have to join in... I keep hearing these amazing things about the C1 stepping 1.8s from Dell. My girlfriend (who lives in PA, im in California) bought a Dell in August of this year at 1.8 ghz. Is there any way for her to check if its one of the Magic C1 stepping 1.8s without taking her computer apart (she'd be far too scared, and I can't get there to help her do it for a few months?
BTW - awesome job
Welcome to the forums....If your girlfriend's CPU(1,8GHz) has Default VCore 1,525Volts then it's a C1 Stepping.....so go and take this thing off.....;)
She can use Wcpuid to check it out!Quote:

You can see on the CPU Type Stepping, if it says 4 then it's a B0, if it says 7, the it's a C1!
I just found out that all the Dell's we are getting at work are these ?!!?!!?
Replace a chip as soon as posible not to lose it.....;)Quote:

Balefire, you can download CPU Z from www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php
it's very simple and useful....;)

yes, my compliments as well. imagine one of these in a dual channel board (GB for example) if they could even make it that high. this is where GB will shine, with high azz FSB's.Quote:

again, my compliments. damn i just persuaded my friend a few weeks ago to upgrade his dell to a 2.0. should let him buy a 1.8, took it home to "inspect it" and, well, you know:banana:
What are you waiting for? :D
UPDATED INFO...!!!...
The best I could do was this shot..... :D
.....and the best Pi-fast bench I could do is this one....
...
...
This chip is getting better and better day by day.....I wonder on the ABIT IT7-Max2 V.2 could it do better than that(I now have V.1)?.....
OOoooohhhh me god....
