In my balcony room temperature is 8° :D :D


With normal room temperature the cpu is rock solid at 2500mhz with v-core 1,725

Uhm...this overclock is old...and for that cpu-z is the version 1.26...:D:D

The biggest v-core air cooling is 2,350 but the cpu is very unstable :) :)

The cooling is a slk947 + tornado 92mm 12volt...with a abit nf7-s rev 2.0

Seriously, these kind of threads that show only a BIOS or a CPU-Z screenshot are starting to get annoying. Specialy when it shows something that was attained a long time ago. :rolleyes:

BTW, 274FSB with single channel is kinda easy to get. With those timings, then.

EDIT As for "cold-air" clocks... I just dug out my best 16M SuperPi run on AXP-M - 2800MHz. That's with 13C ambient. So cpu-z screenies at 3GHz are possible, I think.

Not really, I put 2.225 through my chip trying to get 2.8GHz stable, but it was never stable =/ Would freeze immediately on pressing TEST! on prime95.......could get 2.7GHz stable but it took 1.975 Vcore, too much for 24/7 use for me......point being though it's easily possible.

Assuming it really is 3GHz on air that is mighty impressive so man, you guys need to chill out with the "MEH IVE SEEN IT BEFORE"

look the date...if anithing thinks wich is a fake because the cpu-z isn't the 1.28 version...at February 22 2005 there wasn't the version 1,28 :(

LoL im in canada... and it was 18 celcius this morning and now its 5 celcius... 3 weeks ago i setup outside and benched in -11 celcius... which gave me 7 degrees on the chip... hit 3.0 with my 3400+ a64 w/ a xp-90 ... i guess thats one good thing about the Cold winter here in ontario. and snowmobiles. anyways... yea what a waste is right... i went for the big three . O only after like 3 hours freezing my a$$ off just running 3dmarks.

My XP-M 2500+ under a vapochill PE.

No optimising in windows, just the usual NF7-S stuff in the bios. The NF7-S didn't seem to like the 2x512mb BH-5 either, didn't want to go past 235MHz FSB.

Also a sort of old screenshot, which is the reason for the old cpu-z as well. Friend is currently borrowing my BH-5 and only have crappy timing Hynix D43 atm.

I gave my xp-m 2.3V but that was too much on air (thermaltake volcano 12 full speed :D) 2.1V was OK though.

i still get stuck at max. 1.93v couse of my kryotech, which woun't chill more than that voltage - dice will come, i'm hopefull for 3.4ghz pi and 3.5ghz screen, but imo i am here...

cooled by kryotech superG 1000 (r404 comp./-15°load), but bevor with watercooling i still hit 34sec.!

so se increase to 33sec. isn't as much as i like, but i wrote it, the comp. can't handle more than 1.93v - i first have to mod it with more r404 to maximize the chillpower.


next project is dice...2.3v @ -80°C - just must hit 3.65ghz 4 wr ;)

Even Umekami couldn't bench above 3,4ghz with ln2. There's no way you will pass 3,5ghz benchmark stable or even get a screenshot at that speed imho. Like you said r404 comp./-15°load didn't result in a superb superpi score. DI will be a great improvement, but i don't think your score will improve that much.

3.5ghz benchmark stable isn't my aim, but a superPi run at 3.3ghz with fsb260 seems so be nice.

1M WR @ Barton core is 31sec. - i like to push that ;)

clock wr of 3614mhz seems to be hard, but it's an aim...

for real hugh achievement that's the wrong platform, in know - but for an old cpu it's not bad!

:D I got that some time ago on socket A on single phase with 1,96 Vcore.

CPU seems to be a real killer - so get it on single phase with the 2,24 Vcore and go for Socket A WR !!!

I ahve done 2900 2vcore using a -7F ambient-- my slk couldn';t handle it... definatly takes an uber 2600+M to do 3g successfully.. closest I got was 2923mhz windows and 3ghz POST.

Air cooling isnt too bad, but very limited :(

it´s nice to see 3ghz in a mobille.
but 3gz on air it´z fu**ing great.
in my bedroom it´s 33º :D
