KING KONG AIR OC 4563mHz...

20C ambient, with my new P4 - 630 and P5p800...
Zalman 7700Cu, 1.54Vcore, Vdroop mod, OCZ Powerstream 520W, OCZ DDR Booster, 1.80Vagp, 2.85v w/BH6....
Chip has UNBELIEVABLE headroom. Benches nicely too... however, not ONE stick out of my inventory works worth a da*n...
Will show FULL benchies later this week with my new MUSHKIN HI-PERF PC4400... I think she'll play REAL nice with DI.... :shock:

Just amazing... imagine with a Vapochill XE or LS, this thing'd be 100% 24/7 stable at like 5gHz++... but I'd need to go with one of the 925XE boards for hat kind of high fsb stability (333mHz 1:1, 3-2-2) OUCH!

Oh an BTW, I saw 4600mHz++ but couldn't validate ;)

waiting for new ram before I show benchies... the p5p800 has "issues" when using the dividers... and I don't have ram here that will go 275+, 1:1...

The mushy blue needs a shed load of volts, probs not available on the p5p800.

Impressive results charlie... Would like to see what you can do Super PI 1MB wise on air when you get it on a 925XE board :D

The UTT just won't PLAY in the p5p800 :(
This Xtremely bums me out... in fact, NONE of my good A64 memory (G.Skill TCCD, BH6, UTT-BH and UTT-CH) likes the p5p800....
I have some killer sticks on order, we will see soon.

DI this weekend, but remember... the p5p800 isn't going to bench north of about 300fsb...so the best I could do would be sPi at 4500mHz, give or take... it's become a mobo/memory/multi bottleneck.
I may grab a Fatal1ty AA8XE locally and try it too with some 3-2-2 DDR2...

For Eva, it's pack date 3/5/05

In the end, this is just a replacement office rig for my old p4-3.0c @ 3.4 on a ic7-g...
So when I'm done torturing this thing, hopefully it'll be 24/7 quiet and stable at about 15 x 275, 1:1, 2.5-3-3 at about 1.4v...

I tried the OCZ DDRbooster on the p5p800 and it works great, but even with +++volts, the UTT stuff just is incompatible.

charlie, to me that sounds like a bios issue with the memories you tried... probably some timing(s) set too hard so the board doesnt let memory oc that high...

Sticks on order = Mushkin High Perf PC4400... good for 275+ 2.5-3-3, I think they'll do closer to 300.
Yeah, Fry's has Fatal1ty so it's convenient. They also have a few different varities of DDR2 including OCZ and Patriot, maybe Mushkin's or GEILS's new DDR2.

Awesome clock Charlie. Do you plan to throw some more intense cooling on there to see how much higher she clocks? Btw, where are you located? I was at Fry's yesterday in Fountain Valley getting a new Silverstone 650 PSU and all of their Fatailit's were worked over, right down to the white tag of return on them. Beware.

mine (640) will post 3.89ghz in windows (set @ 4.2ghz bios)
temp isn't an issue here (24c idle, 46c load)

yeah, gotta be careful at Fry's... I shop at Fry's in Burbank and Woodland Hills.

Welp they had at 12 at the FV store last night. A woman was just unloading them. So far, im not impressed. I needed an EPS PSU for the Xeon Cruncher im building but i wanted to try it out on the DFI's.. There seems to be a prob with adjusting the rails. See my feedback in the following threads charlie.

One thing to try charlie. Get a nice 150cfm 120mm fan and mod it into the 7000CU. I cna show you how if you don't know.

I modded a higher flow fan into my 7700CU and droppe dmy temps about 4C at load.

I'll get them up tomorrow night after work. I don't have time to at the moment, I got school in 7 and a half hours. :(

You're correct, but you have to leave little tabs left. Then you use a small zi-tie around that tab and a corner of the metal square peice over the center of the heatsink.

Another thing to do that helped me, is to put a rubber band or two around the top section of the fins to force the air down through the center portion of the heatsink. You need a powerful fna for this to work though.
