congrats! :toast:
why only 1.50v?
what heatsink?
what roomtemp?
something is weird about this night, everybody is benching tonight it seems
Wow! :slobber: Is it any more stable with higher VCORE?Quote:

Great chip you've got there! :D maybe that lanparty will give you some time to tweak and overclock :D

Achieved with a 6600GT PCI-e (590|1230)
We're still testing :D
CPU Cooled by: Thermalright SB-2+enermax 92mm
Graphics Card cooled by: Zalman VF-700 Cu
We got a shot @ 3030mhz but then it rebooted :( ... :bsod:
what speed was that 2k1 with? can you do 2005 pls, i just benched 2k5 with my 6600gt, thats why im asking :D
thermalright sb-2? i thougt that heatsink sucked?
again, whats the room temp? :D
and did you mod the 6600gt or is it completely stock?
I wanna see a bigger 01 score. I'm right behind you with my 6600 Non-GT. ;)

cant wait for the other pics :D
and damn thats a sweet card!
i have to remove this damn bubble gum tape of my 6600gt
Those Zalman solutions are so...ummm...unique. :D I like 'em.
WoW nice overclock... What stepping is that 3000+?
Wow man, very nice indeed. Love the Xtreme air cooling haha, have done that a few times myself.
Very nice HTT
Whats the memory at?
Like the others I'm curious about temps :D
Yeah, but maybe you forgot to mention that you ran this SuperPI at 2.6-2.7GHz. At 3.0GHz you should get under 27s. Use some decent memory and a higher divider.Quote:

nice!
now go and buy a watersystem or something and get it stable :)
just 1.5v ,it's amazing :bounces:
congrats
just feed it with more voltage.. 1.5v is nothing
Tonight we'll do more benchs :)Quote:

wow nice oc before zalman of GPU....so it's XFX right ? thanks
amazing chip. SPAW 0448 is not the only brutal stepping :)
:D Looks like a successful teamwork here - congrats....... :toast:
wow.. nice suicide shot. And thankyou for saying right off the bat that it was a suicide shot.
Nice stuff :D I might have to 3.3V sense mod tonight and break 30k with some ice water... Everyone else is benching... I fee left out :(
wow, what do you get in 2k1 with 625/1250?Quote:

compare link
The graphics card is still with stock cooling and unmodded.
WTH did you do with the drivers and the LOD for it to get 26K?
Damm Nice overclocks, i feel so left behind. :(
What drivers are you using to be able to see your temps? I have the eVGA 6600GT using 71.81 forceware and I can't find temp anywhere within the settings tabs =/
Try to install HWQL drivers or 75.xx driver
yeah the 71.81 are WHQL, saw the 75.xx drivers, but I generally don't test betas :D
I'm using 66.93's, usual benching tweaks, LOD 15 etc. #7 for 6600GT on the ORB ;)Quote:

micutzu which 6600gt can go 590/1360 ? get me one !!!!
i baerely get 560/1120
Actually i just went trough all the tests at 610/1370, i'm waiting for the night to get some nice temps on my CPU ;). The card is Gigabyte GV-NX66T128D, still unmodded and with stock cooling (wich by the way sucks alot).
1.37 GHz on the memory with 2 ns chips is steep!
Damn i really got crapiest 6600GT PCIE ever.
What cpu coller are u usin? Thats some sick cpu oc @ 1.55vcore imo. My cpu wont bench over 285mhz :/Quote:

Edit: Just hit me that I went very OT, sry >_<
what should be the result for 2 6600gt in sli on a 240mhz*11athlon 64 with ram @2.5 3 3 7 ??
I'm using Thermaltake Bigwater on the CPU, nothing to write home about. Very nice card clocks you have there, any mods on it?Quote:

Hello!
We're back from the lanparty my friends... It sucked a little bit but despite all, we've good news :D:D, ehehehehe
We have achieved 24k in 3dmark01 with my 3000+ and my 6600gt pci-e @ 615mhz | 1.31ghz....
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y9/...9-3dmark01.jpg
and 10k @ 3dmark 03 :D...

Very nice chip :slobber: and gfx card.
What brand is your 6600GT? (waxman's)
Edit looked and it was an XFX if anyone else is curious.
It's on the previous page, Gigabyte.
We used a slipstreamed windows xp compiled by GinTonic.
If we had used windows 2000+sp4 I think 25,5k or even 26k was possible.
And the ricky tweak is the default setting when installing windows :D
Besides, we never got to test my ocz bh5 and VX kits in detail :D or even GinTonic's mushkin bh6.
After all, we were in an lanparty :p:
My bh5 can bench @ 265 mhz 1.5-2-2-0 with 3.5v and my VX @ 264 1.5-2-2-0 with the same voltage on GinTonic's DFI SLI-DR :D
I think we can get more mhz out of those mems.

I must say I find these results quite impressive. I have a CPU like that in a MSI K8N Neo2 54G Platinum and so far I could run SuperPI 32MB at 2600mhz with 1.38v. With 1.5v I think I can't get anything near those 3ghz (I guess a I can get a print screen at 2850... far from those 3Ghz)
Regards from Portugal.
Nukke. ;)

Why stop @ 1.5V? Give 1.65 a go.. Welcome to XS
Thanks for the welcome IvanAndreevich. I read this forum for a while but I was shy to post 'cause I'm not that Pro. :toast:
I already tried with more vcore. There are a few problems I want to fix. First is the lack of time for real testing. The second is that I'm still with stock cooler (I should buy a new one in the next weeks.. just waiting for holidays. :) I am also having undervoltage problems (known issue in this mbo.) In holidays (about 15 days from now) I'm gonna borrow a multimeter and try to check this out. With 1.6 I don't think I can go much further than 2.9 for the print. I have to buy a few fans, change the NB thermal compound... But now I have lots of tests and I don't want to get into it... otherwise it would be hard to stop. :D
Gintonic and Waxman sorry 'bout the offtopic. :)
Nukke.
Yeah, the graphics card is indeed a XFX and it's mine ;). Waxman has a X800 PRO Vivo :D (a pretty good beast :p: )
BH5 likes NF4... altough I can get good results with my Geil Dragon PC3500... BH5 can do better... so... I guess I need new mems :D
Nukke, don't worry :) Post anything u want :D
wheres the pics? post it gin! :DQuote:

Last night, GinTonic corrupted two windows trying to get this screenie again (it was done with my bh5) with the thing that is missing. :stick:
Today we'll get the complete screenie for you guys
And saaya:
There were 2 stripers :D :D :D

that stripper has a weird body... she doesnt have a waist at all
270? :o daym... nice vx! what vdimm? is it stable?
what cooling on the memory? LOL :D
and 2.2ghz at 1.13v is really nice :toast: sweet chip you have there!
Damn, people know how to throw lan parties in Portugal.
i want another pic of the first stripease dancer! the one in red!Quote:

hi its really a good proc since i read it from the first page...
wonder why new batch 0503 like mine need high vcore to reach high clock...
even 2.5G is not achievable...
btw nicely done there.
Great scores Gintonic/Waxman. 270Mhz with those latencies is awesome. Wha' about the volts? What about the temps at 1.136v? Did you notest a big diference?
I agree with saaya... that waisteline is weird...
Nukke. :D
The vdimm given to my VX to achieve that HTT was 3.7v :D
They were cooled by a stock cooler fan and the extreme cooling on page 1 :D :D
It was stable enough to bench, don't know if it's stable 24/7, but it didn't crash a single time @ that htt
Just a small comparison:
My OCZ BH5 benched @ 265 with 3.5v and my VX @ 264 with the same voltage :D Soooooo....
My Vx can bench @ 270 with 3.7v I wonder how much HTT can I get from my BH5
gotta 3000+ @ 2500 (285 x 9) on the stock cooler with only the CPU volts increased.... on DDR333 Kingston value @ 237 (474) with a MSI K8N..... will try 3gig in a couple of weeks.... will let ya know
