What it is me or nobody had to pass Superpi 1mo with Fsb of 500 :??: :D :D :D :D (Not optimised)

Sick results, this 2/1 divider really pushes these boards.
WOAH nice me gonna try that too :)
Great job, mine locks up over 450Mhz (R.A02 Taiwan), i'm guessing the CPU can't take it.

:toast: :toast: :toast:
:toast: Nice work. That's the highest HTT speed I've ever seen. :)
héhé , congratz bobby :D
wow, nice! :toast:
Another French WR :toast:
nice job bob :D
Thank All !!!
Good this bios 2/18 walk really, I will try to test this day to outside see what that gives, I think of making a max screen has 505/510 without too much Problem, I do not imagine with the chipset cool with a dod and vmodée, that could go up very very high!!!!
If not my HTT is has 2 or 2.5, that doesn't change large thing has 500, I arrive has to hold a few minutes without freeze
hmmm interesting, on my dfi nf3 board the highest fsb i could get was with htt 3x... but that board is fcked up anyways :D
but maybe try 3x htt? i heard the nf4 boards can go much higher on htt speed than nf3, some via k8t800pro boards hit 1500mhz htt, whats the max speeds nf4 chipsets can do so far? i heard they go much higher than nf3 chipsets but dont know how high...
see how that board likes 3x500 :cord: :D
sorry bob :D :

i can screen at 508 i think :banana4: fut that freez,i'll retry :D
it freez at 508 ,but i've take an screen at 507  :

i'll try an SuperPI at 505 but it freez in saving :(
Outrageous!
:slobber: :slobber: :slobber: :slobber: :slobber: :slobber:
508 without CPU-Z validation beacause freez  ,but superPI at 505 :D :

what the hell on this is great? thats crap! big htt is nothing without big memory clock!
my BH5 is at 250 it's not bad i think ,i'll try to set a better mem timing at 500HTT/250RAM clock ,to have good SuperPI score :DQuote:

Try superpi run at 1:1 250fsb and then try 2:1 with htt at 500, see how much difference..
overcrash86 ,congratz!!! :toast:  :toast:
I think it's good to know how much HTT does the Board, isn't it???:D
Please explain to me the point to running HTT bus faster? It governs the CPU to Northbridge communications, it has NOTHING to do with memory bus speed.
The data bandwidth needs from A64 to the IO devices, PCIe, etc off the Northbridge dont make a DENT in the bandwidth provided by 800Mhz HTT, so what is the point of having more unused bandwidth?
Call me when you have 4 512M sticks of ram doing 300Mhz @Tight.
I dont think there´s a certain point by running this 24/7 or for overclocks - The point is pushing the hardware either way -
Btw. there´s no northbridge.
edit: Come on 4 x 512mb 300 with tight setting - Why patrionise him? Going through your sig doesnt actually reveal more impressive numbers than he´s showing atm.

now ,i think it can be stable at 480-490
Whatever the NForce3 and NForce4 chips are.... I call it a northbridge, guess its really a hybrid north/southrbidge with no memory controller.
My point is, pushing HTT does nothing for you, if you had 16way raid0 running then maybe you'd push the limits of the 800Mhz HTT, but nothing anyone does in normal use will make a dent in the bandwidth that is already sitting idle in the HTT bus.
On the 300Mhz comment, I mean _I_ would really be impressed by someone coming up with 300Mhz memory results at TIGHT timings, now THAT would be something worth getting crazy about.
As for HTT pushing for sport, why go looking for something that will yeild increased instability with no conter-benfit of increased real-use performance? Really no point really.

But why do it ? Well for overclocking - That should pretty much explain it, there´s is no point than to push thing to the limits and beyond.
Thats to me overclocking basics :)
would 3marks benefit from high HTT speeds?
Yeah. That would be a nice try.Quote:
