Good job, Kevin! Now let's see 10,000MB/s. :D
Almost there, OPB! just little bit more and you get 10K....
I can tell you that with a little tweak on Server2003 (actually, that tweak is right in front of your eyes, when Sandra results are ;) ) you could get 9700MB/s at same mem speed :) and efficiency could go up by aboyt 2%....
yup, buddy
If I got 3 stage cascade running 345x11,
I will...I might need to drive my Nissan altima all the way from columbus ohioo to Vegas.;)
I'll drive my 530i and meet you there. We can pull off some mafia-type raid and take everything from chilly1's garage. I'm sure he's got some top-secret 6-stage cascades ;)Quote:

Great results man!
ya, that's what I wondering..
Actually win2k is not bad though(this bw was runnig under win 2k):D
BTW** oh ya..chilly 1 is just recoverd from his arm surgeory, so we might have chance hehe..:D
nice bandwidth
Nice OPB, what kinda volts needed? Is that TCCD?
yea what ram did u use?
I'm going to guess its Gskill TCCD RAM. You know...that one kind lol i forgot the name
jjcom
344mhz WOW! :slobber:
Whats the max you can pull in 1gb Dual chan?
Could it be anything, but TCCD? (well I guess, with OPB you never know...)
Holy crap, nice results. Will be awesome if you break 10,000.
Now thats some bandwidth.. :)
OMFG! :o
i was asking what PARTICULAR brand of gskill ram opb was using LA, LE?
But what's the tweak? Don't tell me that the 180-day trial version is the actual tweak. :confused:Quote:

Let's see if it helps OPB get higher bandwidth... But It helped me gain about 150MB/s....Quote:

I see no reason why it wouldn't.
One thing, though... Sandra 2005 Lite seems to not use it even though option Use large memory pages
is on YES in Memory Bandwidth benchmark options.
Sandra 2004 works fine, though...
Good luck
:D Nice bandwith bench OPB, care to share some of that
I just "aquired" server2003 enterprise edition.. Hoping to do some benching on it pretty soon..
omg, i'm only 6000mb/s behind!!!! :slobber:
great job
btw, will there be g.skill ram with the new bh-5 chippies?

I dont know if u'll get a little boost with that
read bypass at 16x
bypass max at 7x
refresh rate at 200 3.9µs
row refresh cycle time at 12-14
Hahahaha, and my best bandwidth is like 4,000...of course this is with 512mb, but even then i'd be far behind...
bachus - any realworld performance gains? Wonder if there is a way to enable it on WinXP.. maybe this tweak will offset 1T vs. 2T enough to make 2T more useable? :D
I tried to enable it under Windows XP Pro. The setting is available and has been set just like the example, but Sandra still refuses to Use large Memory Pages.
I'm running Sandra 2005 Pro
is that 9GB effectivly or 9GB in dual channel mode?
I'm guessing single channel but just to be sure .....
Nice benches dude!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :stick: :toast: :toast: :toast: :toast:
tried Lock pages in memory enabled and +10/+20 but Sandra writes OFF....
just... WOW
onepagebook I am using Windows XP and I have much more than your efficiency... if you had mine you would go over 10K.

(200 fsb on nforce2 | 2-2-2-5)
What about tweaking the o.s.?
:slobber:
Nice work man. :toast:
Punisher, that's because you have such low latencies, as you increase latencies bandwidth efficiency lowers... so there's nothing you can do to change that unless there's some miraculous ram out there that can run at 344 at 2-2-2-5.
amazing indeed:up:

VERY nice bro.....saw this on the XS front page and kinda knew what I was in for......I'm in awe. :slobber:
It's stuff like this that keeps me pressing forward to start benching again.
We'll see :) Once i figure out what the hell all those options in A64 tweaker and th DFI BIOS are I'll try to go over 300 2,5-4-3-7 with my LA 1G :) BTW what are the records for 1G LE and 1G LA from what you (OPB + this delightful society) know?Quote:

Where can you acquire the 0.5 A64 tweaker and Sandra 2005 Pro (I'm guessing you have to pay). 2004 was free wasn't it?
Bachus, if you get 8K+ at 300*9 2,5-4-3-7, looks like I'll have a shot at that with my LA 1G :)

OPB
OPB, thats ungodly. What ICs/voltage? *drools*
only... 6500 to go!

Actually from 2-2-2-5 to 2,5-3-3-6 I lose just 2 percentage points:Quote:

OPB just try your efficiency @ 200 bus 2-2-2-5, if it is lower than mine I will suggest st to tweak the o. s..
@Punisher
that efficiency (97-98% / 92-93%) is just not gonna happen on A64 S939....
Yeah, actually I had imagined it.Quote:

I would assume that 250x12 with FX and BH-5 would give you probably 96% / 93% or something like that.
Thats one smokin fast system. Where is the super PI or prime?
i wasnt online yesterday so i´ve just read it..
really nice OPB.. ;)
Punisher, you're comparing apples and oranges. You can't compare a Socket A Nforce2 mobo to a Socket 939 Nforce4 board.
