1 . 2005 02 09 beta performance bios
2 . update nvmm to 4.79
3 . update nv raid rom 4.81
4 . Add memtest86+ 1.5 (under genie bios)
5 . fix serial 1/2 3/4 whendisable serial ata 3/4 , serail ata 1/2 raid array not detect

Yes cupra, all of the boards share the same BIOS. This one should work with all the DFI NF4 boards.

NF4 support will come in next memtest86+ version i.e. 1.51 :)

I've flashed but didn't restart.. yet ;) Actually I believe it's better to flash from Windows, no warm in that :toast:

yes, since this bios extension of file name is *.bin
you can flash under winflash ;)

I would do that if I were you, had a lot of problems with SATA drives and both 25/1-01/2 bioses.

Well managed to get the elusive 3 Ghz @ HTT 300 with this BIOS- and not lose my SATA drive occasionally either :)
Getting a bit warm though ;)

Cudos to to U OPB ill try it out at once, I just love that feature with Memtest built in btw i managed to get the Chipset watercooled, I had to modify an old Dangerden I875 block chipset temp has never been over 30 degrees :)

Hehe I never said only water ;), noo its a little corrosion from the radiator, my whole system is cooled from a wallmount radiator, because noise is what its all about and you cant hear if my system is on or off ;).

OH BTW: If people are having corrupted installs or problems with the NCQ SATA2 drives, I believe it is general nforce4 prob... I would recommend turning OFF NCQ in device manager if you are running nforce drivers that are prior to v 6.39...

The 6.39 nforce package also helped with the BIOS Detection of my NCQ drives with nforce4

However, one should be cautious with the ethernet driver in the 6.39 package. I had to roll mine back to the previous version to avoid BSOD during high net usage...

AHHHH!

this explains why i couldn't install windows under the 0125 bios. when i 1st setup the board, i had my raptor raid on sata 1/2, sata 3/4 disabled and maxtor dm10 on sata 5/6. i finally flashed to 0201 bios which apparently reset the disabled 3/4 and i was able to install!

you can d/l winflash and flash the bios in windows or in dos you type

Won't load WXP with SATA 3/4 disabled!

I can't for the life of me get my board to boot windows with this BIOS and SATA 3/4 disabled. It does recognize the drives and then just hangs when it should be loading Windows. I will play around some more with this to see if there is a solution.

i have my sata installed on 3/4 instead of 1/2 and works fine.

This bios hosed my SATA ports as well. I had mine connected on 1 & 2 with 0201 bios, worked fine. I had 3 & 4 enabled even though I wasn't using them. Flashed to 0209, it showed the RAID bios boot screen 1 time, then I never saw it again. After messing with it for about an hour, I flashed back to 0201, still wouldn't recognize SATA, changed to 3 & 4, and then I finally got mjy drives back!

Okay since this was a new install of windows, what I ended up doing was pull one 512MB stick out of DIMM4, disable SATA 3 & 4 then reinstall WinXP only loading the nVidia ATA driver, not the raid driver, since I am not configured as a raid. This allowed me to run 02/09 BIOS with only SATA 1 & 2 enabled.

Now if I could only figure out how to get more than 266 out of the TCCD's then I'd be set.

this one helped me alot, my pqi tccd wouldnt run worth crap past the stock 200 @ 2-2-2-7, with this one it went up to 240 2.5-3-3-7 past that i get errors, i'll try some more, just bad ram i guess.
