For your higher clocks, what cooling was used/any vmods? Very good results, nice job :)
-
Nearly 7k in 03, very nice. What a great budget card!

can not sli :(
use original cooling :)
-
Decent performance for the cash, though that is the ugliest package i've ever seen a graphics card come in. ;)
-
This maybe a very silly question, but; Is the 6200 core a 4 pipe 6600 core (4 pipes disabled)?
-
I have two question.
Can we buy nvidia 6200(with pci),not only new 6200 with turbocache?
Your 6200 oc 550/660 better result than 9800PRO/XT or equal?

yeah afaik it is. The TC one isnt though.
-
beats my 9700p in 3d03 and 05.. i feel ashamed :(
-
Will there be an agp version?
-
nvidia haven't say anything about an AGP version
windwithme > can you try to reactive disabled pipes and do some benchmark with them ? i'm really curious ^^
-
GP version will be launched in January 2005. 4 pipes are adopted while testing :)
-

On the right hand side of the PCB it reads clearly "6600GT"
-
This card seems to perform somewhere in between a 9700p and a 9800p, so its price is just right. In these days 9800p are sold for $150.
-
Damn beats out my 9600XT. Than again your CPU blows mine away aswell :p: Still the card performs alot better than I thought it would.
-
i am interested to see two of these little cards in sli...200$ for a sli sistem....
-
550 / 660 from 300 / 500?!
... Wow. :toast:
-
Wow, that 3d'03 score aint too shabby!

-
wow, really good results for an budget-card for ~110USD.....
-
excellent results!!!ΕΎ
imagine with better cooling :D
-
as the show picture.
I just use the origional fan
-
incredible performance for so little money.
I'd expect to see these cards around $99 once the competition gets ahold of them.
even less for used one at newegg later.
seem like great little cards.
-
Thats what I'll be getting when I go NF4
EDIT:
what kind of mounting hole setup does the card use? Same as the 6800 series? My maze4 wouldent fit would it?
-
SO which gfx you got these nice results with ?
Albatron or other one, thanks.....

I searched the orb but not a single published 6200 score. are those things 4 pipes? almost 18k isnt bad for one of those(especially with bad ram timings, winxp and a s754 castle) 550/660 clocks has gotta rock too. How much video ram do those have? 128mb? does it have ps3 too? I heard somewhere that it could be 8 pipes, can this be confirmed? its near 7k in 2003 makes me think it very well may be since a 6600gt gets 8k at 500/1000 clocks and the 6600 gets like 5.5k so the 6200 is as good as the 6600(non gt) would make a great $99 gaming card for midrange 1024x768 gaming. I am curious if ati has an answer for this(something better than the slow x600) maybe they will lower the price of the x700np to $99? Let me check ebay, ok the cheapest x700pro is $175 but its got 256mb ram. Id assume the 128mb non pros to be $100-120 but none are on ebay? I see no 6600np on ebay at this moment but the GT go for $200. well I guess the 6200 is the cheapest decent pci-e card for the time being
-
i do believe that his card is 256MB one ;) (8x32MB chips)
-
-
prices and also please link us to the orb. do you know how to publish those scores for all to see and compare?
-
666 memory speed....;)
seems like a nice budget card, should be able to handle older games with ease (e.g. COD, age of mythology etc. etc.)
-
Why did 3dmark01 got less @ 8 pipes ???
Lower clocked cpu?
-
looks like hes 100% cpu limited, thats why. id still like to see published scores please!
-
ROFL this $100 card can do most 9800PRO's out there.
-
-
omg where you getting all these stuff ?
-
WoW, where r getting them from?
BTW r the phones in bundle?

only in 2003 and thats if he didnt get a bugged score. I have yet to see any published scores so theres no idea whats normal for those, however the 18k in 2001 isnt that high, he could be cpu limited but then it also shows its slower than even my ti4200, I get over 19k. what id like to see is review sites or people reviewing those. the 6600gt barely beats a 9800pro in most games, why would a 6200 with lower clocks come close? isnt the ultra 8 pipes and the non ultra 4? I will give it credit for its price and the fact itll crush any x600 out there. id like to see how an x700np does

[sarcasm]And we all know your Ti4200 can outdo it in 3d03 and dx9 games.[/sarcasm]
-
we are not talking about my ti4200 and besides its a moot point, its a dx8 card and it cant run dx9 at all so there is no way to compare it except in dx8 games. I still crush it in 3dmark 2001, a dx7/8 benchmark so at least I know mines better in dx8. as for dx9, I have a softmodded 9500
-
Hrm, guess the train of thought got derailed again.
Your prior statement was that your Ti4200 would beat the 6200 - my point is that just because it can't handle up on your card in 3d2k1 (which it comes pretty close to), it's better at some things and just as good at others. Just because your Ti4200 can score 1000 points higher doesn't mean it's an overall better card. Remember, 3d2k1 is getting a bit dated, and it doesn't tell us how a card will perform in games. 6800s aren't that hot in 2k1, but they run pretty awesome in games.
Anyway, I look forward to a comparison of the various 6200s.

As a high-performance, I just a end-user. Because I am a famous in the review-forum or newest-product-testing.Some product is bought by myself, others is offered by manufacture company.
thanks :)

it is cheap and powerful for turkish users:D

I don't think the cpu is limiting it in 2001 if it is a AMD64 3000+ and this is a midrange card similar in spec to a GF4 but with shaders and DX9 ( putting it very simply ).
I agree with GF4 in that it is puzzling that Futuremark have not got any scores up yet and also it is puzzling that the 8 pipelined modded version puts up a worse 2001 score. If you had not told me it was 8 pipelines then I would have said the first score just had a good car low.
To be honest though this is all a bit irrelevant because the proper 6200 will be nv44 and not nv43 and so will be the turbocache varients, which makes it a lot more interesting to people who get their kicks out of overclocking/benching midrange nvidia cards to see how they tick.
For instance will overclocking the PCIe bus be possible and if possible will it be the deciding factor for people running data over this bus as they are using a turbocache card ?
Rather than 550c/680m will we be seeing for TC cards 550c/680m/XXXe ?
Regards
Andy
