I would if I had the setup and it isn't too noisy :) Felt that 3ghz wit XT-PE water cooled oveclocked was not still optimal for my CS:S 1600x1200 sessions on default setting :)

If you do SuperPi8M it show's more precisely the difference.
I really don't believe that 2x512 @ 290Mhz beat's 2x256 @ 315Mhz in SuperPi.

I know PiFast benefits from 2x512 instead of 1x512 but didn't know SuperPi does as well. Haven't tested tbh.
I tested with PiFast and here's how it compares:
Setup:
DFI lanParty UT, 3400+ ClawHammer, 200x11. 2-2-2-5
OCZ plat. rev2 TCCD ram
With 1x512 PiFast 56.28 seconds
With 2x512 PiFast 55.92 seconds
It has something to do with 4way interleave instead of 2way or something.
Can you show us the difference with your fabulous setup OnePage?

You could probably circumvent the OVP. Vcore is being fed into one of the Winbond chips on the mobo, those sensor chips, y'know. So, you just cut the corresponding leg on it, and solder something that's at 1.5 all the time, such as vAGP. Problem solved. Oops, nvm it's PCI-E now (and I don't know what it runs at). Well, find something that's at 1.5... an AA battery.Quote:

BTW... in 1:1 it will go 23 sec. 1m. You just need a little over 3.5 on cpu to get it. I could not get over 3.5 on DI, but with cascade I am almost at 3.6 ghz bench stable speeds now. The -20c I gained in temps allowed me to give it more volts to go farther.
Did you have to send your cascade back, or are you fixing up a room for him for the weekend :P?

This FX-55 will not do anything over 3475Mhz stabile under the chilly1 cascade. Bad chip, but thats life right!
OPB do you have a better picture of your setup around the cascade? Do you place the board at side of the cascade, course dont look like on the top.
wait, what ram are you running. None of my ram can handle 315 mhz 1t. I dont even think they break 280 1t, I'll check
