These Winchester are really strange! I can bench here watercooled at 2950MHz
but if i have an Vapo or something it could be that it maxed out with
2950MHz too! Something is wrong there! Boards/CPUs/ or something else? Dunno..

My newcastle primed up to 3.05ghz and benchable to 3.15ghz until it died of my vmod (well I don't even know how much volt I pushed through it as I accidentally set it at 2k instead of 20k to start off)

hey pc ice....you say your chip don't want to go highter with more vcore than 1.65v...mine seem to love vcore....with 1.65v my chip do around 3ghz and that climb when i turn up the vcore....maybe i'll try to vmod my Neo2

Can't compete with you guys, but I'm pretty happy with my 3000+. This is with aircooling (Hyper6). Normal room temps. Can't get any further with water. Wonder how it would do under a Prommy? Oh, by the way. Perfectly stable @ 2.8GHz. This is only a max MHz screenshot.

I find that each MHz ram is worth 3MHz cpu power. Thus when I go tccd and if I gain 66fsb, itll be like 200MHz more cpu clocks, therefore 266x9=2.4GHz would be as good as 13x10(if unlocked which mine isnt) or 290x9 with ram async at about 200. This is also why im matching my newcastle single channel cause im only 200fsb 2.5-3-3-7 vs. my 234fsb 2-2-2-x which my newcastle had bh5. once I go tccd I should me 200-300MHz faster than my old newcastle. is 40k marks possible with todays winchesters? Macci hit 34k with his all on air!

i'm not having much luck with my winchester, bench stable at 2.6ghz but no higher, and without being able to kill the OVP on my A8V i can't get my BH-5 the volts it needs :(

1.8 isn't enough.. :D
Now seriously though, 1.8v is only with 1.36. Vmod gives you more flexibilty with bios selection (or pain of... this mobo saw about 20 bios flashes already)

Thank You for the gift. Once I get some better cooling well see what it max's out at on air. So far with stock cooling it will only do 2.75 - 2.8ghz. It runs too damn hot. 55c on stock speeds and cooling.

tommorow i will try for more then 3252mhz!!!

i will try to go outside with the prommy....maybe i will got some cold temp...it suppose to be -10 celcius with sun :D

Heres a 3280 Mhz screeny....I ran this chip all the way up to 3.4 Ghz, and upon reboot, it died.
I also got a run at 3dmark at 3188....I think this chip would have been benchable at around 3.3 ghz.... damn my luck...

Well... I just got a new 3200 to replace my world record 3500 that died...
This is my 5th Winnie, and like the other 4, it doesnt have any problem with being cold... It does however hate high fsb, which I always thought just depended on the mb/ram. This chip isnt stable at any htt over 260, and I have tried it on 2 different mbs, aircooled/frozen, and with different multis....wierd...I pull it out, throw in my 3000, and 335 htt no prob.....oh well...looks like another dud.

The chip is a week 44 rpaw if anyone is interested....

How would this matter with agp/pci lock. Or is it that the AGP PCI isn't flawless yet on the 939 boards?

I just don't see how overclocking the video card bus speed would make the cpu overclock better... But, then again I am not extreme at all; no where near pc-ice level.
