niceee :) i just ordered 512 of this pdp xbl @ newegg :) hope i can get these results
wow thats very nice :D
for the PDP's i almost always hear that they have the voltage loving TCCD ic's
if you can get 2 sticks like that it would be awesome.
i wonder how it would run in dual channel
Geez. You've got PDP memory, too? You sure have a lot of memory modules, bro.
Best I could do at 2-2-2 was 230mhz @3.4v 2x512. I tried the other stick and it also does 600mhz. I really need a dual channel board. I think a FX55 could really do some damage with these. :)
very nice, i keep going back and forth between pdp or the ocz plat rev 2. I wish i could give both a shot but i'd rather not spend the extra money.
is that 3.4V with ddrbooster or vdd mod?
4.v modded dfi bios with a 3.3 adjustable pot on the ocz powerstream 520.Quote:

You have trc at 17, what do you use for value for the settings below that one in bios ?
Need some idea cuz i never got mine to reach 300 with those timings.
Can you write down some settings ?
3.4v is that safe for 24/7 usage?
I played with the trc in clockgen later. I ran some quick tests but no improvements in superpi. I just had did 2.5-3-3-7 cpc enabled, drive strength level 2. everything else on auto. Now the question is wait for nf4 and sell my agp card, or buy a nf3 939 rig. MSI or get another gigabyte Ultra nf3 and a ddr booster and hope I get a Leprechaun inside the cpu box.Quote:

Nice OC. :toast:
Been trying to decide which set to get. - G.skill, OCZ, or PDP.
Need the voltage loving TCCD ic's for this nf2 board. Might be putting my Bh-5 up for sale soon if they perform well. :D
After a breaking in period i can confirm that Patriot XBL indeed likes volts. Mine doesnt like any less than 2.85 now @ cas 2 2 2 7
i just ordered the pc3200 2x256 kit for 107 bucks at the egg. i hope these thing oc nice.. stay tunned.
peace perc,
Susquehannock , your sig is TOO BIG!
any "Patriot XBL" seller in europe?
OMG, you need 3,4V on to get 300MHz?
My OCZ does 310MHz errorfree in memtest with just 2.8V ans 313MHz with 2.9V
Kakaroto's Gskill only needs 2.7V for 310MHz.
All TCCD. Did you try lower?
Too big how? :confused:Quote:

Sus your already running 240 FSB with 2 2 2 timings why the heck you wanna get TCCD ram for?
Good for you and Kakarotos Gskill, but not all tccd is going to run that high at low volts.Quote:

How high can the 3.3 go on that PowerStream Trans?
Nice results :toast:
3.74 / pot turned all the way.Quote:

In the quest for ever higher FSB of course. ;)Quote:

Should probably try the L12 wire mod first though. Maybe tricking the 1700+
into thinking it's a 200fsb CPU will help squeeze a few more FSB.
Yeah 1 256 yikes! I cant game without at least 1gb myself! Thank goodness for great clocking 512 sticks eh?! :)
how is the FULL name of those mysterious PDP XBL? and how much do they cost?
the ones i have are Patriot XBL 3200+ and were only $221 us dollars for 2x512 from newegg.com currently running 2 2 3 7 235FSB rock solid!!

Yeah, that's why I usually put in a couple 512mb Ch-5 modules before a heavyQuote:

Some recent memory benchmarks of mine, with some bh5 i got in.
:toast:
God I love bh5 and notice only 227 MHz.... :D

What's with only 227mhz?
Yeah, man you are so cool! 227mhz only!! duh, but I was running a single channel sandra mem bench. Lets say the same was done on an athlon dual channel rig with say an fx55, with TWO modules@ ddr600 2.5-3-3-7 1T.Quote:

Cool lets see it. Those benchmarks would scream.
All you need then is to just set your fsb to 300 w/ and fx55 chip. so what? 300*8.5 = 2600 right???
That would be awesome seeing a 939 board running Ram at 300mhz in dual channel non the less, and i bet super powerful too........................sweet lordy, put it in your dual channel FX and do it!!!!! I CAN'T WAIT to see the results.
Whats nuts though is ol' boy running some bh5 @ 265 (2-2-2-5) with a fx55.
I wonder why he doesn't use RAM likes yours? How much difference does low latency bh5 vs 300mhz ddr600 make? What is the middle "equilbrium" point?
I refuse to let bh5 die and be overtaken by this new stuff.
Sorry, just wish i could be as cool as you.
It seems to be after 260mhz at 2-2-2. I don't know, but I got a 1 sec gain in superpi with the ddr600 timings in single, vs a single dimm of bh5 2-2-2 @ 250. I don't have fx55, but I was just making a point that high fsb with decent timings can really matter on amd64. It's just up to the memory controller.Quote:

But doesn't the memory control "only" suport 6.5GB/s anyways??? Isn't the 875P controller the same?
Could you do a comparison on PiFast instead of superpi ???Quote:

One reason, I like PiFast is its 0.00 sec resolution.
Last thing BH5 2-2-2@250 what was the timings & votages on the DDR600??
How high can you clock w/ 2x512 1t? I don't care about CAS, just need a gig of ram for games that clocks high :-)
Here ya go :DQuote:

Any luck gettting further with cas2.5?
CPU/8 .... ins´t 300mhz.. cpu/10 or 1:1 its 300mhz you have 20% less mhz

download this and put the fsb in the top line. http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...chmentid=21846
Ey nice program
It's always sumfin ain't it! :DQuote:

It sure is. :D
Your mem is at 2550/9= 283MHz so running 9x285 1:1 should give best peformance.
3.4V ??
How mush with 2.8V ? :)
Thanks
I am not going to waste time testing with 2.8 if it's not stable. Best results seem to be beween 3.1-3.3v at the max speed of the ram.Quote:

psu is not good enough for the modded 4V bios. U think more volts will get the ras to cas down to 3?
http://img108.exs.cx/img108/5472/320httsandra6qf.png
Nice, but how high does it go at ras-cas 3 with the same volts?
