Still on an FX53 as well. Thought it must be an FX55 when I saw FUGGER's post. What was the difference so that 41k was tough and now you can do it at will, or would you rather not say ? ;)
Wonder if Ricky and Pedro have backup scores ?

Now looking at the 2001 scores there is one big questing thou. Car hi / lobbys - how come Team Portugal is still A LOT ahead (CH = 182 vs. 174, LL = 496 vs. 480, LH = 225 vs. 218) even thou OPP is running 50MHz higher CPU and 4MHz higher RAM and also higher card clock?

Still, there is a difference. 8 fps in Car-high at same clocks is ALOT. It might be the MSI holding you back, but it would be a litte strange me thinks.

Made myself a little fun and compared the Top3-results after doing a kind of simple normalisation: MHz needed for 1fps (CPU, GPU, VidMem).
CPU and VidMem are close together for all three top scorers.
But what´s catching my eyes is, that Pedro/Ricky need 6% less GPU clocks and Jacob/Brian need 5.5% less GPU clocks per fps. That´s quite significant...

My testing on S939 got cut a little short but it looks like car and lobby like different timings. On the S754 the 2-7-12-.... settings were best for all tests, but not so on S939. Just wish I had more test to conclusively test.Quote:

Lovely score Opp :) us system scores, like car high, lobby are realy better than yours, maybe gigabyte is better than your msi, or ... dont know we dont use any "especial triks" :) we can bench@ 4.45, but i need ethylene for playing with cascade @100% due to an problem on 2nd stage compressor, it's beeing hard to get more ethylene here in portugal :(
when i get more ethylene surely we will bench @the max :)
your score is realy good due to gpu power :)
there is no backup scores due to compressor fail :(

opp, did you have to give up some GPU power(as everyone has noticed your running your x800xt's clocks low), because the CPU was drawing so much power at such speeds? is that why you "figured out how to OC it"?

42k hasnt been broken yet but Rickys hardware has more cpu power for a higher score than OPPs. He just needs ethelyne.

Finally OPP got one good FX-53, and now the 2K1 race (the only bench that really count for us) is open again, OPP score was very stimulant for me and Ricky, and now we have much more motivation to bench again - we may to do it in the next few days, I almost smell etylene so the dam gas should be quite close :D

mmmmmmmmm etylene :) can you smell 42k? ;)
i dont think 42 possible for this rig, but has i have said, with this rig, 41k are easy, just need to make a maxed bench, and for me a maxed bench with us rig is: more 50 or 70mhz on cpu, more mems with 1,5-2-1-4 timings, and maybe more 80 or 100mhz on gpu and 20 or 30mhz on ati mems :)
OPP: once again: congrats for 41k,
just Resolve bandwith problem (maybe the board) and i'm sure you can make 42k "all day" heheh :D

We shall have to see how close to 42k then. you have 8fps lead in car high with even more in lobbies and this will grow even more as you clock the cpu up. Lets say you can match OPPs clocks in GPU, you will have 10+ fps lead in car high and both lobbies and a bit less in the other tests except nature.

I too dont understand the variance in the bandwidth scores....your score seems to fall in line with the other top gigabyte boards....
