Well done!
LOL Rodzilla, well the damn thing aint running so your probably right, btw did you notice my sexy new red ram sticks ? :D
Heres a pic of the rig im currently using until my main rig gets a new gfx, nothing much but its rock stable, and it can do 1.1 ghz oc with box cooler, unfortunately not in the current mobo lol

I just added another rig, only for a few days though, and it aint exactly top notch lol, its a 750 mhz t-bird, but since i have it all weekend for installing, testing and so on it might as well do some good ;)
Well my buddy decided to upgrade from that 750 t-bird, so it stays here and will continue to fold 24/7, i also fired up my sucky xp1400 lappy, prolly gonna run about 18 hours a day
I just added my my celeron 2.0 which if i remember correctly is running at 2.8Ghz :) it wasnt folding before because it has been powered down for the past 3 weeks because my sister got a virus on it and i couldnt be arsed sorting it out..lol.. all sorted now though :)

What's the node number??? I wanna watch it and see how it does. I have access to a thunderbird 1000 so It would be interesting to see if it's worth it or not.Quote:

LOL I noticed that rocker.... too bad the p3 and one of the p4's did about 10 units of work between the two of them :( Then I might accually win =P
But you have running a few rigs,i only run with one rig(owell yes two),xp-m-2600+@2500mhz,and my P3 is running also now but is not connected to the inet, but he is folding nicely and when a upload his work a will make a big jump forwards,it has 2000 on his counter,i hope he will let me win at the end:p:
i gonna install xp on the new garage pc now, then itll be another pc folding for meh!, which will be a nice addition!

p4 @ 1300mhz - ave 1.4/day
People arnt leaving thier computers on. Going to have to have a talk with them
woot, just waiting for some heatsink to fire this up.
What are those things running at? :slobber: :slobber: :slobber:
3.2ghz each :D
Have you re-done the thermal compound under the chipset heatsink and VRM heatsink? The VRM heatsink compound Asus uses is a joke. It has a bubble gum consistancy and there's just no way it conducts heat that well. The chipset compound is either a hard compound that never really heats up enough to fuse or it's a mixture of that and some normal paste compound that gooped on. ;)
You'll also want to blow some air across these two as they heat up when running full-load.
I absolutely love my PC-DLs. :toast:
thanks for the tips, i haven't looked under the heatsinks yet. I'll do that right now.
these are the rigs i have.... for now
athlon xp-m @ 2678mhz
P4 1.8 ghz
i will probably change a few 1 ghz athlons running folding@home to d2ol soon too
i really need to get my 3 spare rigs up
they are a 1.3 celeron (about 35 a day)
the garage pc (500mhz)
and my dual processor beast! (550mhz :D)
my xp-m at 2.585 isnt performing that well really, only really getting about 90 a day, is this expected? then agian i do use it often, so maybe me using it is hindering performance :S ahh well, its my only rig!
My 2.45GHz XP rig just turned in 115 over the past 24hrs. If you're using yours alot... I'd say it looks reasonable... maybe a bit low.Quote:

Dual P4 Xeon 2.0GHz each 24/7 (4 nodes)
2400+ AMD Sempron 24/7 (1 Node)
That will make 18 Nodes BayBeeeeee!!!!!
all i need to get those going is the will to be bothered to plug them in :D, for the 1.3 celoron, all i need is power and network to it, then its ready to go, and then the garage is near ready, just need to install some drivers for it, and the dually is just i cant be bothered to do it at the moment, got so much coursework etc
ok, just got my celeron back up :D, i think that might push out 30-40 a day :D, at the moment its just in a old motherboard box (with foam at the bottom, and then bolts going through to hold the mobo down, and the hdd has foam under it, but its resting on the pci slots :D and the psu is external, i mean 40c isnt bad for passive :D :D :D
so hopefully, i should be getting about 250-260 a day :D me hopes :D
my dads pc is annoying me, its a 2.8ghz p4, and it would perform quite nicely, but he keeps exiting d2ol, because its making his pc hot :(, i might install it on my sisters in a min which is a 1.7ghz willamette chip with 512mb of rambus :D
im aiming for 300 a day :D
frodo doesn't your room sound like a wind tunnel with all those computers in there? in the wintertime you can probably leave your room open and heat the whole house. :D
nope, not at all
ive made them all, so they all nice and quite, 2 of them are watercooled (going to watercool my 3rd rig soon) and the cardboard cased celeron is silent :D and the 1ghz hp is quite, so its not that bad
and my room doesnt seem that hot!
Just the rig listed in my sig.
I wish I lived overseas still, the place I lived before had its electricity paid for by the employer - I'd have 20 machines! :)

Not yet... but I'm waiting. ;)
BTW, I also just picked up a set of low voltage 1.6GHz Xeons. ;) Maybe I'll get another PC-DL to put your monsters to work for a bit...
:toast:
Just joined the team, in the first instance I've just added my Shuttle @ XP3200 as my OC rig is never up for long enough to do any real work. I'll add two more rigs in the near future, another XP2500 @ XP3200 & a vanilla XP2500.
Come on, wheres the biscuits then? ;)
Funny you should mention that... I have a box of McVities Milk Chocolate Digestives enroute from your side of the pond right now. If you want, I can put one or two in an envelope and send it back. ;)
Very nice, indeed the classic choccy biccie.... there is a young pretender to the crown though:- Mcvities Caramel Digestives very very moreish!

I have an old 3Com cable/aDSL modem 10/100 4-port router you can have if you're interested? One of the ports is only good for 10Mb while the others can run 100Mb no problem. (I forget which one is borked so you'd have to do a little trial and error)
I have a slightly used Linksys router if you need it... 5 port works PERFECT!!!!Quote:
