Priming right now @ 36C with SLK-948, 80mm tornado @ 3.3K rpm (very quiet)

Hoping to run 2.6Ghz+ on water with 1.7v

Hello,
It's stable or not ?
Thanks
Nice, is that with 2T or 1T ???
I'm asking because i've same mobo but not mobile cpu and i'm doing same clocks as you right now on water with 1.7Vcore but i think i can run it at that speed with less than that, will try later.
Nice clock for mobile tho, squeeze the bstrd!
Gluck.

1T CAS 3-3-3-10 with 2x512MB Crucial Ram
Prime errored after a while @ 1.6v, so I bumped up voltage to 1.65v in BIOS, but it's reading 1.63 actual. So far it's been going for 10 minutes @ 37C
Right... i'm having problem at 1T with my normal Newcastle chip at 1T, can't go more than 210fsb for some reason, i'm using Crcuial Ballistix at CL2.5 3-3-10, u have the same ones?
What kind of error prime came up with? If it's something like ... error occured 0.499 or 0.5 while expected 0.4 then it's the memory toping out at 1T.
Cheers,
B
Ya I think this board has problems running 2x512 double sided sticks beyond 210Mhz. Mine are single sided sticks, regular crucial.
Oh!, thanks for letting me know because i got worried about this...
I've also tried single channel but same thing.
Crank up the Vcore to 1.7 and see how ur mobile goes ;) :D
Cheers,
B
This is on your K8NS Pro correct ? What BIOS, etc... did you use to clock up there, a lot of people have had problems with that board and mobiles. I used the K8N Pro of course (see sig) and got similar results. Very nice chips indeed :toast:
sweet!
congrats! :toast: :)
Yes it's the K8NS Pro, using F5 BIOS, basically the same as the F4, just newer gigabyte raid BIOS.Quote:

Totally prime stable right now, been running for about an hour. (The 5v reading is fubared, jumps around like crazy for some reason)
Not bad for a $190 chip :)
whered u get it for $190?
wow! 200$? :0
mobile, 1mb cache ,cg stepping... :slobber:
Yeah those chips really like 1.7v. This is on a 9800pro with no mods. 287*9 166 (235 mhz 2-2-2-6 1T) 1.76vcore prime stable:toast:
Got it off hardforums :)
They go for like $230 new I think, still cheaper than a 3400+ CG, and OC's the same if not better.
was it a DTR 1.5v chip?
Looks a lot like my chip.
No, DTR chips are just desktop without the IHS. They even get recognized as desktop chips on mobos that support them. Mobiles are different.Quote:

Glad to see it performing like I hoped it would. :)
so where do i get a REAL mobile?
:DQuote:

It's a Clawhammer with 1/2 it's cache disabled. It's a gimped hammer.Quote:

Mine does 2.58 stable with good water. I can 3d bench at 1.65, but not prime 95. How far will your go with 1.75v?Quote:

peace perc,.
Hmmm, I can't find anywhere to buy a 3200 CH mobile except Gameve, and they seem a bit overpriced. Why spend $240 on mobile 3200 CH when you could spend $200 on a DTR 3200 CH?
My 3400+ hits 2.6GHz with 1.7volts, my ram can only hit 220 at 2.8volts with all the timings tweaked to the max, but it still gives me sick bandwidth. Both of those results are stable. Unfortunatly I cannot give you any screens or anything as I'm at college now with my laptop. :/Quote:
