Wow...excellent work Hipro...:toast:
Now where can I get one and how much? ;) :D
-
It's an ALFA version....... ;)
The box will be made with aluminium with 1.5mm thickness which will be the heat sink as well as the massif aluminium where the transistors and the Mos-Fets are screwed on..... :)

I may be blind but.. how does it plug into the motherboard?
-
does it track vtt for non-vtt tracking boards like the IC7?

:slobber: :D
Excellent work Hipro! Very impressive - I didn't think you'd have a prototype finished so quickly.
I'd also like to know how it connects to the mobo...
-
i'm not sure if everything was implememnted that was talked about in the previous thread but that's what it looks to me like:
DDR Maximizer with "vtt tracker" and maybe "Vcore Maximizer" built in :) and it might connect from one of those green connectors to PCB that is inserted into DIMM slot... i just wonder what is that other wire that comes out of it... maybe the one that one solders to Vcore IC so the Maximizer works wonders for vcore too :)
EDIT: no, i was wrong... no Vcore Maximizer :(
- first 2 posts show how it raises vdimm with switches
- next one shows MIN and MAX using trimmer - switches OFF
- next is VTT tracking
- next one shows raising vdimm on DDR2 up to 2.4V
- and the last one shows vdimm on DDR2 at 3v (!) with trimmer.
excellent piece of work, hipro4 :toast:

its either vdimm for DDR, and DDR2,
or
vdimm, and vtt
-
yep, vdimm for DDR. then VTT and DDR2 :)
-
would it work if i have a motherboard that doesnt support vtt tracking?
-
nice work hipro5 :toast:
every time you open a new thread it always make me :slobber:
nice to see you again :)
-
Very nice! :toast: It sure looks beefier than a similar product, made by an unspecified company. ;) :D

Thank you..... :)

What would be required for us to fix the VTT track, I mean do we still have to mod something on the mobo? Or is it just plug in the molex and plug into the dimm for it to work?
Excellent work :D You'll have my money when its available ;)
-
According to the other thread, yes
-
The reading on the front panel, is that the intended voltage to be given, or the actual voltage being given to ram.
-
-
Out of words. Excellent work hipro..... :toast: :toast:
-
Beautiful work Man!
You are amazing, now we'll waiting some particular as how connect to the mobo, ecc...;)
Really congrats!
:slobber:
-
Awesome DDR I/II & VTT Maximizer, it's gonna be mem heaven.
I'll definately get 1 or 2.
What about Northbridge, AGP/PCI-E ?
-
awesome stuff there hipro :toast:
-
You're THE MAN!!!!!!!
Show the rest of it and finish us off!!!!

For fixing the VTT track the only thing you have to do is........PRESS the VTT switch to ON.......Not that hard I think....!...... :D

It's the ACTUAL voltage being given to Ram (Vdimm or VTT)........It measures it's output...... :)
-
Wow... :slobber:
(Sorry, that's about all I can come up with...)
:toast:

Thanks...... :)
I have some ideas about them too.......Also saaya gave ne a good idea too....... ;)
.......BUT for the other ideas you HAVE to solder cables on the mobo so as to work........
One idea is - the same panel - which will feed the Northbridge (Vchip) and the VAGP and maybe become ONE idea so as with the same panel we could feed our VGA card with four cables soldered so as to control via panel of caurce the : Vcore of the VGA card , the Vmem(Vdimm) , the Vddq , and whatever needs voltages on our VGA cards......PLUS the Northbridge and the Vagp of our mobo........Future dreams..... :)

With this thing i'm gonna kill both ram and mobos!
My 8RDA+ is going to die.
My AN50R is going to die.
My IC7-max3 is going to die.
But first my ECS-crap with built in AGP dies!
-
Ahhhhhhh...........I forgot to mention that I've ordered 100 Led Displays (showing the voltages) in BLUE - BLUE - BLUE color.......just for testing..... :D
I wonder WHO will be those lucky 33 ppl who will get the BLUE ones.....
I'm also working on a "handmade" front panel face so as to cover up this thing......Hmmmmm.........In black color..... :D

dont care about the color of leds mine can be pink :D the color i interested is the color of ram when it get 4.22 lol :D
-
Some technical info :
Can produce up to 4.22 Volts and up 2.11 Volts separate each other.....
The - max - 4.22 Volts line can produce 25+ A (actually 29 A)......and 34+ A at 3.6 Volts output......A total of 125 Watts power for this line......
The - max - 2.11 Volts line can produce 18+ A (actually 19 A)......and 22+ A at 1.8 Volts output......A total of 40 Watts power for this line......
They are both short cirquit protected and overvoltage protected....
The mainboard(the one on the photos given above) is also thermal protected by it shelf......
At load of 25 A one line and 6 A the other line , it produces about 52 - 54*C of heat.....We are gonna play with 12 A and 3 A max with 2 x 512MB Ram sticks so you'll encode no problem..... ;)
You can feed with this thing , TWO computers at the SAME time , thas 4 x 512MB Rams sticks......It's capable of giving this watage with "joy" IF your PSU's 5Volts line is strong enough to feed it..... :D
NOMATTER what PSU you have , you'll get the max 4.22Volts for REAL and NOT maybe 3.7 or 3.8 or 3.9 or 4.0 or 4.1 or we will see......You'll GET them...... ;) :)
The whole box will be a 3.5" bay and it will consists of pure alouminum of 1.5mm fatness which will be the heatsing as well as the masiff aluminum where the transistors and the Mos-Fets are screwed on......
That's for now......and we will continue........ :D :toast:
E D I T 1. : The front panel face will be in black and alouminum Lian-Lee colors - anodized......
The PCB's will be black with gold(or something like that) letters and components drawing......
E D I T 2. : The MAX voltage faulse at full load a.k.a. 25 A is 10mVolts...... ;)
-

Hmmm........I think first will be orange , then red and after that brown to black with some spots on it of bubbles or something like that , or even without their "clothes" on......Like they are stripping or something....... :D
-
sign me up 4 1 !
I'll pre-pay if needed :)
:slobber:

wow impressive :slobber:
Looks like a job done by a (HI)pro. Oh it is.. :D
Awesome cant wait to hear some results :toast:

Nice piece of work u got there Hipro5

Is it possible to get 1 even if ya live in the far north(sweden) ?

when do you think the final version will be done?

It's a rev 1.00 hipro5 magical device.
I could say it looks like a μουλτι...κο...ρ :D
I believe i just won the 1st retail device :toast:
Excellent job m8.
-
I've got to hand it to ya' hipro5. Not only is it a great achievement, and a must have for guys like me, but you also picked the perfect colors IMO. Black plate and blue LED's. Not only is it way stylish, it will also fit/work perfectly with my current setup :p:
Personally I don't care how much it's going to cost, I've just got to try it out asap.....
-
Thank you guys...... :toast:
Final release will be out soon........First we'll do some beta testing and get a CE (European) certificate so as we can sell it in Europe.......In the meantime we have to get some other certificates for International selling as well so as to sell worldwide......One step at a time.......Europe of course will have it first and VERY soon I suppose....Other countries users could buy online off course via an online European shop and fortunately we have offers for resellers all over Europe..... :D
-
WTG Hipro! Do you know if the "maximizer" will be able to get around the over volt protection that the asus a8v has? The ovp kicks in at 3.1v on the vdimm. I would love it if it did!
GREAT JOB!!!

GREAT JOB!!!
Unfortunatelly NOTHING can interfear and disable any OVP ..... ONLY mods will....... ;)
-
Wow
Hipro5,
Another jaw dropper. I am hoping that you are still partial to Canadians cause I would love to a couple of those units.
Keep up the great work!
musk
-
Woaw, astonishing work you've done Hipro5 :worship:
And it even will be available in Europe first for once :hehe:
-
Gah.... all we need is one big a$$ box off 'em. :hehe:
Like another entrpreneur buys 100 and makes a few bucks dealing with it all.
It's Ok though, I understand you want to get all your ducks in a row.... just HURRY :D
-
Thats just fantastic piece of eqiupment!
I want one! :)
Can you send one to Iceland now?
Is there any chance of an other device as that which controls the vcore?
Good job!
And how will you make this for every one? You cant handmade every single piece now can you?
Do you have some factory or some to make this for you? :D
-
i would definately be wanting this thing if my bios didn't already go up to 4.0vdimm...
then again, it would save me from a 3.3v rail mod...
ah, decisions decisions :)
-
Looks beautiful... Have you done any testing with it and 2x512 sticks on motherboards to see how well it works? If it feeds/reads through the dimm slot like the OCZ booster, I noticed it KILLED my rams overclockability on both boards I tried it in. (Even with 3.2vdimm, ram couldn't clock as high as with 2.8vdimm).
-
Yhey, looks good. If the post still exists, use the logo I made hehehe. Are you gonna retail these things?
-
wow, looks killer! :) :slobber: now we can all kill our ram the "hipro5" way!!! score! :)
-
Awsome Hipro!
I can't wait to try one of these out!
-
Thats some impressive work you did HiPro, congratz :toast:
-
Very nice Hipro!!!1 :toast:
Question, it must be a 5.25" bay right? if so, is there going to be a 3.5" version? cause if there is I'M THERE BABY!!
Blue LED + Silver Lian Li Cover = L337!!!!
-
Check the pics man one is sitting on top of a floppy drive and it looked the same size to me. Maybe I looked too quick. Either way the answer is there.
edit: nope didnt look too quick. 2nd to last picture.

Its 3.5" he says it earlier.

Did you test it to see what it lets you do with your FSB? Looks great (Checks BWI website for flight times to Athens)

Very very nice work hipro. How much actual math was done in order to do this?
-
i'm sure a lot of people who will be buying hipro's maximizer.
