Different romsip tables in the bioses.. they are from the DFI bioses.

This is insane.
I've flashed my nf7-s 2.0 with "ABIT NF7-S ver. 3.0.00 Fire Bpl 3.19C 26.08.04 by -=Merlin=- " bios and I had a BIG surprise reaching 256 FSB :D prime stable (until then I couldn't jump over 210 FSB) .Check the pic. I've made screenshots at 265 but not stable. NB voltage must be modded.
Memory : Corsair xms 3200 c2pt rev 4.2

im using d27 from Merlin and it runs @255x10... stable.

i flashed it onto my NF7 v2.0... and now it says it's locked and wont flash to an older bios... i lost onboard internet and audio... probably more...
i take it that these bios's are for those NF7S2's right not for the older NF7 and NF7's right
what can i do to get my bios back to my old one?

tried flashing properly in DOS?

these bios's are for the NF7 2.0 / NF7-S 2.0, not NF7-S2.
try the dos's flash, or the latest flashmenu.

it's still not working... it just sits at Erasing DMI Block
what about a hot flash?
can i do that in windows... i dont have a floppy disk drive...
i've never had flashmenu screw up before either...

i didn't mean a hot flash... because i dont know anyone else with a NF7... but still it wont flash i get the same error
and when i put in different bios chips it wont go because they dont already have NF7 information on them... what else can i try
im gonna dig up a floppy

a friend has the same odd problem (recently) he has hotflashed the bios and it's fine now.

only problem is i dont know anyone else with a NF7...
is there anyway to get my lan and onboard audio going with this BIOS
(im on my NF7 via a PCI ethernet card)

if you can't flash your bios, i think it's not possible.

well how the hell can the bios copy just fine... but afterwards i have no internet or audio... yet im still able to use it

CrazyXP1700: Try looking in the bios.. the sound & nic'n'stuff is disabled by default. (yes, you did good selling your p4 but you should get a a64 instead :p: ).

onboard lan was disabled... now it's enabled and is working
onboard audio was enabled and didn't work... im gonna see if disabling it makes it work

For me it did work, both was disabled for me from the begining. Otherwise i don't know. PS, i got a P4 also :P

disabling it didn't work...
i cared more about the audio working than the internet since i dont have another sound card

all i can get is beeps outta it... any time theres a exclimation sound... like errors can PM's on forums
so i mean my sound works its not dead... it's just no drivers will install... WTF

i got it going again...
i pulled my ATX and 12v connector off my mobo... went over to my buddys for a few hours... came back booted up with audio but no lan... then realized it was disabled by default... and now she's running again
my hdd's are in a mess since i tried reinstalling XP but my cd is too scratched up and apparently my backup isn't from the same legit cd... so i dont know what to do besides download a illigit copy and use my legit key lol (who ever used that in the same sentence)
i dont know if im prevented from flashing still... but i'll stick with this BIOS since im running the same oc i had before

what does it mean cpc(command per clock)?
whats the diference between on&off?

if you 2x512mb sticks its better to run CPC OFF (2T) for high FSB.. alot of instabilities otherwise
with 1x512 or 2x256 then use CPC ON (1T)
so many new bios'.. dont know which one to choose o.O
anyone else have any results they can share?
edit: oh.. didnt realise how old this thread was... thought they were like a new re-release or something.. been waiting for a new kickass nf7 bios :(
