he says his vdd mod is made by connecting a 200ohm resistor between the 3.3v rail and the "pin for the nb vdd" :confused: eh?
Also look @ Sisoft Mem Bench, there is something about 2x280, something is wrong with the Sceen. I have added him to my ICQ, hope to found some infos out, but i think its not real. The NB from the NF2 is freaking out @260+ I dont think his system is that stable to do all that benches on a AN7. I only saw such FSB @DFI Boards, and they werent as stable to do 3dmark and so on.
but we will see. I dont think its true. Hope to hear further infos about that board. When its real its a killer board.
Looks fake or bugged to me. The Sandra bench is all blurred and messy. And 16842 3DM01 is horrid for 280FSB and 2.58GHz AXP with a 9700Pro. What am I missing ?
Hmmf smells fake all over that 3dmark 01 result, but the memory bench was not to bad 4400mb/s.

i just downloaded it, and i see a few differences, buy i dont see why it is any more fakeproof(or not) then a regular cpu-z
i see it has the numbers, so can be checked by this "cpu-z frequency checker" that vrzone seems to have. but the latest regular cpu-z also has that, i thought? where can i download the cpu-z frequency checker? i didnt see it for download on cpuid.com, or vr-zone.
i think its integrated into their cpu-z version.
i couldnt find a button for it...
then they probably keep it for themselves to check the submitted scores.
just send him the number and they will tell you if its really 280fsb.

effectively the same as 3.3 = VDIMM but 200 ohm resistor would cut it down to somewhere around 1.6-2.2v (just a guess).Quote:

If the northbridge isnt getting clean/stable voltage, that could be why nf2 boards have trouble clocking sometimes :D

I think he has a 9500 Pro. I had a 9500 Pro at 400mhz core and 310mhz memory, and with an Athlon at 2.64ghz and 240fsb with a ram at 2.5-3-3-11 on a Leadtek nforce 2. I got roughly the same score with that setup...which leads me to believe he has the cpu, ram, and mobo specs listed with a slightly overclocked or stock 9500 Pro. 3DMark2001 used to report my 9500 pro as a 9700 pro too...
I have seen a completely unmodded DFI Infinity for a 284fsb suicide screenie with a crappy Pc2700 memory at 3-4-4-8 timings (Rickikaeye69 @ pcper.com). But that was nowhere close to stable. And we have Lastviking With 295 fsb single channel screens. But to complete all these benches... and he says, a single fsb more leads him to a no-post. From complete stability to no post?
could, or default clocks on a 9700np.. its not the fastest card around when stock at 275/270 :D

pcmark reads the cpu as 2584mhz.
2584 / 280 = 9.23
which we all know isnt a optional multi... and rather far off to be a weak clock generator
also, is the pcmark score suposed to have different fonts for the scores? ;) (top right of screenshot)
i'd like to believe it, because i'd like to get that motherboard, but im not quite sure...
also, theres no pcmark score submitted of 5410.
EDIT: *after the 15 minute wait for the orb to load....*
theres also no 3dmark2k1 scores fitting that description, or even close with that score.:confused:

i dont believe it either, it could only be possible if nvidia made a new revision of the nf2 northbridge, and why should they do that? socket a is now only sempron and they need all their workforce to get nforce4 ready...
