Well, 0351 MPMW's can hit 2.8ghz on air... so I'd say pretty good.
where can one acquire a 0351 MPMW ? eXcaliber has 0352 RPMW...
excaliberpc have IQYHA 0352 RPMW that seem to clock real nice too
[EDIT]use reviews for 0352 RPMW
I actually have one for sale in classifieds.
I have a friend who has one at 2.9
fewtures mobile 2400+ does 2.9ghz in his unmodded prommie as well. and he bought his chip at the same time i bought mine, like 4 months ago, so its a week 50 as well :)
the newer steppings shoul oc even better. i only heard of a week1 04 cheap wich did 2.6ghz+ on air, so yeah, 3ghz in a prommie should be no problem :D

Show Us One doing 2,8GHz on AIR (not for screen in winter)
3GHz ain't that easy, at least at moderate fsb stable!
My 2600+ is week 48, and I can run 2950 @ 2v (like 1.93 yay DFI :/ ) in an unmodded prommy prime stable
Ive benched at like 3060-3130 with it too
Only at like 230ish FSB though, its hard to crank her up there and get FSB high too...unless youre SAE :D:D:D

Nice, bud :D
I always hear people saying 3GHz is easy, but whether it's stable or not depends very much on tweaking/modding skills, luck and the right way of praying ;) Most people can only get 3GHz stable at very "low" fsbs... 230 is great IMO  (I don't like it seeing 3GHz at only 200fsb... though these guys often cannot do anything for a higher fsb)
WildKard,
is that a IQYHA 0348 SPMW you're using?
but then sae has better cooling than an unmodded prommie
Well, I'm taking down my watercooling and moving it to my a64 as soon as it arrives. If I have time I'll try and tweak this a7n8x vcore stable enough to get my chip prime stable at 2.8ghz (right now vcore fluctuations lock me at 2.775ghz, but if I adjust the vcore mod just right I can get 2.8ghz. 2.8ghz would be a piece of cake if I had a nf7 on hand. If I don't have the time, just browse the forums. Myself and about 4 others have gotten ~2.8ghz with this stepping on air. I did 2811mhz for 8hrs of prime with 1.85-2.05vcore (in mbm5 reading every second) on slk900a and SF2@max with room at 75*F. Hard to get my room that cool this time of year, but I have a tornado fan now, so I should be able to do it in an 80-85* room alright.Quote:

whys that? I never understood this, but I can find a score at 3Ghz at 264fsb so there goes the high fsb problem unless its the ram bottlenecking
the nf7´s got some kind of problem running high fsb at 3g + for some strange reason..
Dont know bout´the dfi that is.. :)
dfi boards can run 3ghz with high fsb afaik. fewture and nostra got some nice scores with around 3ghz and high fsb.
yeah, can't wait to get my infinity back.
finally got a 3 ghz mobile chip as well...
on an unmodded mach 1
but it's a 2400+ 35watter
0402spmw IQYHA from newegg
currently running 15 x 200 on my nf7-s
my cpu wouldn't even do 2.65ghz on my LP B.
My 2400-m iqyha 0351 mpmw could do 2.8 on air @1.9v, and that was june in georgia...I would love to post a screeny but my nf7 was horrible (max fas was 214 on this proc, and a killer dlt3c 1700) so I sent it to Hell-Fire to mod for me, but I am having a little trouble with it (actually it is being a stuborn biortch).Quote:

I am not seeing any difference between the 2400, 2500, and 2600's, but the mpmw 0351's are killer oc's across the board. Virtually every single one that I have seen is good for 2.7 on air with around 1.8v. In the last few weeks the 2600-m's coming from newegg were mpmw 0351's but that is obviously not a garuntee.

Only Fewture and Nostra??? :D
Did I miss something there??? Hehe, I got the pifast/3dmark01 record for some time now (prom cooled I mean) ... 45.53s, LORD 's been so kind to let me keep it ;) But btw, what's up with Fewture???
P.S. I am proud to be able to play Far Cry at 255x12 :)
You obviously don't count SAE :D
Damn...I should realy stick my prommy on my 2400-m until I get my a64. It is just sitting there right now (thank you epox 4pca3+ god damn it!) collecting dust. It seems like it would be pretty easy to make my own mounting kit for a prommy, and I might aswell get some practice before my a64 arrives.
Give it a go...Quote:

At least Fewture and Nostra get some competiton there :D
Hm what's the max fsb you get for benching ? Did you do vdimm mod ? I wanna see some 280x11 scores :)
everybody knows your records ;) :DQuote:

no need to mention them ^^
265... but either it's my ram (I doubt that) or the boards are maxed (surely). 280 on max timings with 24°C ambients just won't happen :( Vdimm is modded and set to 3.4 to 3.55V.Quote:

Okay, that's an argument ;)
Give it some more 3.7v-3.8v
It has no effect... I gave them 3.88V accidentally, they would bluescreen at windows load... maybe other voltages are involved, too.Quote:

I think the ram can take it, but not the board most of the time... ;)
have you checked if vref is still rising? maybe it stops somewhere...
No, I did not check it as it was by accident ;) (short circuit)
But I am not really interested in pumping this much voltage in the lovely KHX  (just because I can see no effect, so I am running them at 3.45V)
Maybe you should try something between short circuit and 3.45v :stick:
LOL
Do you really think I did not try any of these tips before?
I tried up to 3.65V, but not with every board as I could not see any progress in stability. Maybe it has something to do with apic, maybe with temps...
But atm it's more stable to run 257x12 than 264x11.5... (limit of fsb is never 100% stable). Maybe I try high voltage these days anyway. It depends on my mood ;)
Damn SAE, I didn't realize you got 25k with a 9800p...I am about to stick mine under a new chiller. I didn't realize scores that high were attainable with my 2400-m and 9800p (possible does not mean I will get them...or even near them for that matter :D). I am deffinately going to have to stick my 2400 under my prommy just as soon as I get my mobo issues sorted out.

There are users with x800 cards beating me for sure ;)
yea he has the record for barton and 9800pro :D I wonder what itll get with x800xt? I could make a prediction, but no one asked me to ;) but ill just say the nature alone would be worth more than 2000 marks ;) and I guess he was right with high MHz and fsb not playing nicely with nf7 mobos, I had this problem to a lesser extent. 240fsb with 9.5x multi was very unstable, I managed to get a couple 3dmark runs but cant anymore. however 3dmark never crashed at 245fsb using the 5x multi, go figure. I have seen people get better results than me, however with people getting 240-250fsb and 2.4 to 2.75GHz on the cpu, but they may just have a very "lucky" nf7 thats more tolerant of this :D doesnt matter though with the a64 thats comming in a couple days, ill be ahead of almost every barton(except SAE's of course)

Maybe you are indeed going a64 before me ;)
I'm selling one of these "lucky NF7s", take a look in salesQuote:

My record 3dmark run was at 12x235 = 2820 Mhz @ 2V http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=7916464
This was not in the winter and not in a airconditioned room.
I've got 2 NF7's, and both did more than 250 FSB. Luck? Skill? You decide.Quote:
