congrats, bro! :toast:
i cant wait to see some scores with that and a 6800U/X800 pro
Wow, just wanted to say, good going there. Wish I had money as much as you to spend  Not fair :p:
Great job taking down Mickey in PiFast :D

This was with my prototype cascade.
in a week or to this cascade going on the video (9800U og x800pro) Then a more powerfull cascade (-3 degree, that is a lot looking at -118c load) come:D (its finich, but a little tweak here and there must be done)
looking forward to race Oppainter and Macci;)
Holy sh**! That's a sweet ass oc! Congrats m8! :toast:
/Me drool for 3DMark01 :slobber:
I like how -118c is a prototype :D :slobber:
No the 118C cascade is a "finish" Cascade. You can bye one if you want (this is not a commercial) the price is 6729 euro full garanti etc.Quote:

The -112c was a prototype, made from me, and a crew of the best cascade engeneers in the world (they are from Denmark!
In Denmark we have Danfoss, nVentiv, Asetek etc. So the best know how is here)
I give more information and pictures in "for sale" next month.
awesome work tom
are pics of your cascades posted somewhere?
OMFG 8000 dollars...
I guess ill choose a year of college over 2 of these guys ;)
Great OC. :toast:
Here the prototype, soon more to comeQuote:

right on !!
why didnt whoever posted the news post the 3.4ghz screeny?
but he did post the 3.4GHz screenie, but its not stable enough for 3dmark(yet) god hes gonna own the orb at 3.3 or more clocks, 230fsb(more if he can get) and break 31k with an 9800xt then who knows how high with a 6800u ;)
very cool Tom!! Congrats bud, your the man;)
im talking about this: http://xtremesystems.org/modules.php...rder=0&thold=0
news, as in on the front page of XS...
excellent
very nice :toast:
:toast:
as i look at your pics, i cant but think about what the 90micron amd fx will do..
just wondering: what does i take to make a cascade or regular compressor chiller? i mean skills, tools and cash?
watercooling just doesn't cut it anymore, and 118- celsius sounds mighty fine to me!
In the future 90micron might not give the same OC% as 130.Quote:

One kompressor system is nice and easy. Bye one, and mod it with R404 og 507.
Cascade is complicated, and dangerus.
:toast:
tom like always you make me jealous of your hardware ;)
get a card in there and start poking around with the volt meter.
go for some records ;)
oh yeah- how about some Hexus Pi-Fast now?

Gonna have to get a plastic cover for my keyboard:slobber:
could we be seeing 4GHz plus with 90nm? wow that would give some totally insane scores powered with an x800xt. 50k 3dmarks?
Nice oc, wish I had that kind of money :(

Tom, those clocks are just insanse.... cascade setup is very clean as well, nice work!
I just wish I had a socket 939 motherboard to test out the new FX on
its funny how "regular" people say something like "yeah i overclocked it to 3300+", but yours is actually AT 3.3ghz, that's just insane!
cant wait to see a 3dmark run
you say that like u got the chip and not the board, hiding something?... :p:Quote:

Good luck with your 3dmark01 benches. btw post a pic of your stepping. here is mine for you to look at and a maxed out screeny.

Does it have all multipliers available in the bios or are they using clockgen?
4-25x available in the bios :) and 800ht
Mad Props :toast:
That is one sick setup!
I could just Imagine what that setup would do with a X800.
My FX-53:
AMD Athlon 64 FX
ADAFX53CEP5AT
CAABC 0412XPMW
9534212D40140
I have seen several CAABC with high OC;)
Outstanding clocks my friend:toast:
Very nice cooling also.:toast:
As for my FX-53 it took a turn in the wrong direction. It doesn't overclock any more. I never got a good chance to test it on cascade.
Nice work :)
OPP
Damn that's a nice oc :slobber: ( and nice cooling ;) )
sorry to hear of your fx53 loss Oppainter :( when socket 939 comes out, pair that with an fx53 at 3.3GHz and we should see some insanely high scores, especially with normal ram. congras again tom
Bit late to the party but :toast: nice result from Denmark !
Regards
Andy

Nice one Tom, FX53 at 3.3GHz Im impressed and jealous, wish AMD let me keep the FX53 they sent me :(
Maybe I'll get a Socket 939 based one out of them soon for another review :)

Had a few runs sub 5 but, You now I go for the top:D
I think it will be best in XP and a little more than 3300.
Only 64 bit system and win2000 working right now.
Still some trouble going high FSB.
promise 8m soon m8;)
W0W that rig is crazy nutty fast! well looks like next gen cards are close to being here
Now the contakt on the CPU is a little better.
Corevolt going from 2.080v to 2.096v (2.112v is safe)
I can write this and be at desktop pas 3400 Mhz now:cool:
extremely impressive Tom :slobber:Quote:

Who was it that claimed that Reg. RAM didnt overclock well anyway :)
We´are looking forward to see your results on XS.. I am thinking sub 36sec Pifast and SuperPI around 24sec:D
thats just sick! 3.4GHz! when you get the chance, try some 3dmark runs with that! we should easily see over 4GHz with 90nm if were halfway to 4GHz with 130nm! and know whats funny? amd may catch up to Intel in MHz. imagine a 5GHz a64 against a 5GHz p4 Tejas LOL
What did u say? i bet it was really stupid. the sig shows u what im seeing.
i bet some nice scores come from that rig
... well, considering stock, amd is only at 2.4ghz, and intel is a full ghz above that, i dont even see how you can come up with that...
for the longest time, amd seemed stuck at 2ghz, and intel at 3ghz... maybe amd just picked it up again before intel...
either way, even if amd did come and pull a magical cpu that could do.. wait... 1.8ghz more then the max benchable(on cascades, no less), and have their stock chips on air... even if all that did happen... intel wouldnt stand around idly... letting amd get that far ahead.
you really should think through your ideas more.
and whose to say that tejas is gonna still be p4?
@peen - stuff like that makes you look SOO much more mature then him...
infact, id say stuff like that is even less, yea, you read that right, less, mature then what geforce4ti4200 says.
ffs... why do you keep doing this ???Quote:

1/2 way to 4Ghz ... what like 2 Ghz ?
amd arnt exactly catching up fast in the Ghz ratings, p4 is @ 4.5 + amd64 is @ 3.3+
just over a ghz behind .... oooh about bugger all different to what it has been for the past ... ages.
Never mind, keep it coming m8 cheers me up no end.
Tom ... good work :D
makes my 4Ghz p4 look a bit shabby :(
dude, omg, what if tom's FX-53 fell into a wormhole, and actually ran at 45 bajillion jiggahurtz, that would get like maybe 40,000 3d01 marks, on integrated graphics, then like what if OPPs 9800xt magically turned into an x800xt and he started gettin clocks of 1.5ghz, then he would like soooo get 50,000 marks]Quote:

I'd be very curious to see those.
12,900 mips is where I was at with 3.1 ghz on my FX51 and a 240ish FSB, 3.3 or 3.4 ghz Mips would be very crazy to see. :D
