Anybody got this new stepping?
I should get my Prescott 3.2 OEM, D0 Stepping (CPUID 0F34h) end of this week or early next week. :)
I'll post results as soon as I get the CPU.

I thought I was sent one, but I was wrong. Its a very good stepping 3 though.
I will check Fry's today and see what they have in stock. I am in the middle of rotation again :D
I was hoping Opp would show us 5Ghz last weekend.
So I can expect high clocks? (Phase Change (R404a)) ?
What about power consumption? Less then the first steppings or the same?
Not sure yet, I hit 4.2Ghz (300FSB mobo max) on a 2.8e when they were first available. I was using R507
I was able to run benchmarks at that speed too.
Oh yeah, no D0 stepping at the local Fry's
SL7E5 is the stepping of the CPU
Should get it on tuesday next week
What cooling would u use ? Stock ?
Fist stock, then Water and at last PhaseChange Cooling
Fugger was that on air cooling or water cooling?
Hi,
i just got a Prescott 3.2GHz D0 stepping!
Stylist

Just my opinion ("feeling"): approx. 5°C lower.
Stylist
complete code (likeSL6WK)
and week???
Real NICE!!! Can't wait to see more results. I'd expect 4.1ghz on AIR.

it is a SL7E5 OEM.
SuperPi @ 3.92 = 34 sec.
I guess there would be more, but my ASUS P4C800-E is crap.

Stylist,
This may be surprising, but with Prescott, IC7 family OC's MUCH better!!!! I had a 3.0E ES that went 4609mhz and like 307mhz. It's a stock IC7-G with the Vdimm mod and that's all...
C
Hello
What is the kind of condition Vcore with the Prescott?
1.385 i think?
and max? 1.6V?
I'll get this CPU on tuesday and test it in my IC7 (moded)Quote:

With air and vapor cooling.
In which way does the vtt mod improve oc ability?
I would be interested, too (vTT mod)?Quote:

BTW: What the f... is meant with vTT? - I am too lazy to use the search function ;).
are you overclocking on air? man, I want a D0... have you done the droop mod on the asus card? my vcore is 99% stable with my prescott...
my old prescott is already pretty good (2.8e@4,3ghz max benchable) but i want more as usual :D
Stylist: were did you buy it?
3.4G ES(0F34)

Aircooling, water, phase change ?

2. Did not know was not cpu makes the voltage over-load protection to pressurize after 1.6v not opening machine or the P4P800 mainboard question
3. Water cooling limit 4.15G Ps. Because potency too bad not po chart
Nearly i forgot:
@ air but just "screenshotstable"
cyan get 4240MHz in air at 1.56v with his 3.2E
90% of stability
have you tried a Prescott yet?Quote:

Like to see a 3DMark at that speed!
:D
Ooooh. 5.3GhZ!! Prescott is definately a good clocker.
Wait a sec. That aint a prescott. That's an old 423 chip!
My bad...the highest 3.2E (not EE lol) on vr-zone
http://www.vr-zone.com/ocdb/data.php...l_or_amd=intel
lol, I would not call an EE old.
Northwoods over 5Ghz is nothing new, we saw that last summer from macci...

ok so the stepping to look out for is SL7E5 right?
i dont think they are available in the UK yet:(
Yes, this stepping is SL7E5.
CPU is from Costa Rica
Watercooling -> 0°C watertemp.
