Anything dangerously dangerous here?

Just finished assembling my new loop, and was hoping I could get some advice on the tube routing. I know it's pretty dreadful in every respect, but as long as there's no significant chance of a leak developing due to the way it's set up, I'm happy. I've been at this project for almost two months now and I just wanna get it finished. I can smell the end! Is there anything here that looks too tight?

I'll definitely have it neater next time (will start using angled fittings, prolly have some parts mounted externally...), I was simply getting to grips with all the new hardware this time.

Not concerned about kinking, more about tubes working themselves loose. :D

I'm not even going to apologise for the poor photos this time, it's 2:40am and I'm tired. :D

EDIT: Ignore the cabling mess near the 5.25" bays - it's only because I purchased a cheapo fan controller while I wait for the new Aquaro to arrive, which is when I'll sort it out properly. :p:

I couldn't get it any tidier than that, some of the turns were downright impossible.

Nothing seems to be out of sort or kinked too much. Also what rad are you running at the top?

I think he was just gawking at the management of the loop.. you could do better on that. However, nothing seems dangerous.

The top radiator is a TFC Admiral 360. One in the back is an EK, the one where the hard drive bay used to live is an XSPC RX120.

I tried my best, but the Primochill stuff is ridiculous. It's so hard to work with compared to the Tygon I used to use. I only purchased it so I could have a loop that wouldn't cloud, but it's probably the last time I'll buy it. I'd rather just buy new tubing every loop than having to break my arms getting tubing on a barb. :D

Not fussed about aesthetics, got no side window. I doubt flow rate will suffer, as tubing is not meant to be a significant source of restriction from what I understand. As long as none of the bends are putting too much strain on the barbs and may possibly work loose, I'm good. :D

I was most concerned about the tube connecting the CPU and VGA, but if it all looks OK, then I guess it's time for me to finally start leak testing this loop. :)

Just letting you know Loop order doesn't matter besides Res before Pump (And thats just for priming the pump).

I can think of several ways to cut down on tubing use.

I know, but I still couldn't figure out any way to reduce it. I literally listed every single combination of connections possible (excluding those with connections between the top radiator and the CPU, the GPU and NB, the NB and CPU, as those weren't possible). :p:

I think the pump placement is the odd ball out.
You could reposition it into the bottom of the case (Easier to prime too) and move that flow meter onto the intake side of the pump or you can get rid of it.
Once you move the pump I think you can see you can cut some more tubing off.

I'm using the Koolance RP-452X2, so it's kind of difficult to fit the whole thing in the bottom of the case. :D

Hmmm could you move the tubing coming off the top inlet on the pump (Cant see if its in or out) from the GPU to the Top Radiator.
Take the left tubing on the feed through and switch the inlet of the GPU from both facing up to the Left facing up and right one Facing down.

This will cut out a foot or two of tubing.

JMO but without modding like you've done, I would have gone; res/pump > top rad > CPU > GPU > back rad > chipset > flow meter > front rad > return to res. Of course I would have done a little bit of modding for the front rad so the tubes could be a bit shorter and would relocate the flow meter to res/pump inlet or outlet with direct connection.

Will keep that in mind for next time, thanks a ton guys. :)

I'll probably punch a couple of holes through the steel panel separating the (ex-) HDD bay and the main compartment, and route the tubing for the XSPC radiator through those (as opposed to going down through the tubing holes in the bottom and in front of the drives).

Other then that... i dont like plastic compression springs.
Those things over time get very brittle, and then break.

Yeah, I noticed that too... When I removed the tubing on my old loop, the coils all looked fine, but very quickly cracked. That made them impossible to re-use.

I ended up just buying more (they are very cheap). Didn't notice there were any non-plastic ones. :p:

You don't really need the anti-kink coil if you run thick walled tubing...it doesn't benefit much from it and typically the tubing will make as tight of turns as you'll ever want anyways.

In all seriousness though, maybe you could try hiding that big bundle of wires so that the front of the case doesn't look like someone threw up a rainbow but otherwise it looks just fine!

that loop looks way longer than it needs to be, make a diagram and take a pic of the whole thing, not dangerous though

here is my build, its the same as yours i think but with no top rad and with a front rad

as u can see u just need the shortest rout and it looks much cleaner, and u dont need anti kink

and yes i know that the unused psu wires are a mess but i cannot do anything with them and they are not in the way

Edit: And whats wrong with EK fittings NaeKuh? I dont think i will ever switch from my (modified) EK fittings :D

OMG, my first loop used two of those on every connection to hold the tubes on. The design of the loop was so bad that the pressure was so high that without that the tubes would literally shoot off and without two of them water would spray out! Oh, the days of using 3 different tube sizes b/c I did not have the correct adapters for my pump...
