I have to say, this is one quick little system. I am running Linux Mint 10 on it and it makes a pretty nice media center/server currently. For only $300 it's really nice for the cost imo.

Thats pretty sweet. Has anyone tried XMBC on any of these setups, if so how does it run. Any driver issues or anything.
I'm also intruiged in these little machines from a gaming point of view. I've found myself recently playing tonnes of games like Geometry Wars, Shank, Trine and Alien Breed 2. These games don't really require a huge amount of graphical grunt so if one of these systems were capable of playing these games in 720p I'd be all for getting one to plug striaght into my tv.
It would be quite nice to see a review somewhere that explores the gaming capabilities of such a set up. If anyone knows of one anywhere please let me know.
Seems as if the GPU is working good. The CPU was only at about 60% load during the benchmark. I wish I could run it in directx lol.

how much FPS in quake3?
Anyone have an idea of how fast the GPU in Zacate is relative to Intel X3100? Looking to replace my X61 this summer and the Zacate is definately interesting (might wait for Llano though).

I always install Windows over LAN, it maybe a bit slower than a flash drive but it should work.

If you run it from Vista/7, make sure you Run as Adminitrator
And make sure to uncheck the "ping address before assignation" in settings or it may not work.
I'm giving the USB drive one more try. Using CMD Prompt to format it and write the files to it. I wish I had a Windows 7 CD. lol I am just using the ISO from my MSDNAA AccountQuote:

I don't have Quake 3, but I played a 4v4 game of Supreme Commander 2 and it ran it amazingly well. So if it can run that it should have no problem at Quake 3.Quote:

I did get it to play perfectly in Media Player Classic: Home Cinema, which seems to support GPU acceleration. The CPU usage varied from about 50% to 80% throughout the video.
