Ten core Westmere CPUs in an 8P motherboard = 160 threads in one machine. I hope that wasn't too much excitement for him :(

I have a high end AMD chip. Six cores. It'll take 27 of them to equal the number of threads of an 8p/80c/160t machine. WOW :rofl: :ROTF: :rotf: :D :eek: :shocked:

Looking at the prices for at 3.33 6 core westmere on newegg @ $1700 a piece, would suspect these 10 core chips would be about $3000 a piece. Anyone know for sure?

I do both...MJ just nibbles at cpu cycles like gpu projects but less so. The "why" is political and personal so I will not expound on that here. besides why waste a good resource like a fast (ish) connection

Depends on the class of caller ID. But assuming off the shelf caller ID a small setting change on your cellphone should be enough to hide the calling number.

I spoke with David on the phone about a week ago, maybe a little less. Last I heard he was telling me he had to go his take out food had arrived. Sent PM on xs but have note heard back from him, now you have me concerned! I'm going to call him in the AM and see if all is well.
