Bbse's:up:
It's PSC :p:
HYNYX same chips as on 2200 models 7-10-7 7-10-10 ;)
3G-x normally means PSC- no idea how someone can say BBSE, I donīt know marking on actual Hynix but doubt they take the same as Powerchip;)
Those are PSC... Hynix has PNs starting with H5T, and Elpida BBSE has BBSE in their PN ( J1108BBSE-DJ-F ).
How can you guys say it's Hynix or BBSE?!
I love them RipjawsX Patracetin, doing 7-9-7 2133 on the Sandy with 1.65Vdimm here... 7-10-7 only requires 1.575
Same chips as the blue RipJaws :D no need to buy 7-10-7 or 7-10-10 2200 model :D
latter will prolly be beter binned Alex... I can't get the same clocks as with the Flares ( which is quite normal :p) Cas 6 is not a real option here
6-9-6-24 or 6-10-6-24 doesnt work leegie? :)
Not with my RipjawsX C9 review kit , Flares no problemo at 1.675Vdimm...
Tried up to 1.7Vdimm... always fails in Memtest ( runs pi and 3D though ) , also crashes hard in battlefield when playing online... best for these sticks might be 7-10-7-24 at 1.57Vdimm...
thanks mate
Well my blue 7-10-10 kit runned at 1.62 at 7-10-7 2133,so your kit does better :D So it's not about binning,it's about luck :)
Could be board too Alex, they run stable at 7-9-7 on the Sabretooth, but not on the Pro or Dlx 7-10-7 it has to be there... the CL7-10-7 kits mostly do CL6-9-7 like the Flare kit... 7-10-10 is something else...
U sure 7-10-10 2200 have different chips than 7-10-7 model?I thought thew are the same...
like said before could be clever binning... other example My Corsair GTX2s are far sub par then most out here ( K I don't pump 1.75ish volts through them) but 2200cl7 is usually a no go on I7, same for AMD benching 2000CL7 is a pain in the but... same Ics world of difference, yep sometimes luck is involved...
Open your ripjawsX ( goes pretty easily ) and give us a piccie Alex plz
these are my 2133CL9-10-9-28 1.5V F317000CL9D-4GBXMD

I can't i just sold them ;) Guys stop this madness with BBSEE,have you ever saw BBSE doing cas 6?Jeezz...
Just tuck my heatsink off on my C7-10-10-27 and the code is XFG22-4A3G-A
What are theses!
yea they are definitely not bbse's, I have some and they say BBSE on them
Are the 7-10-7-27 BBSE then and r they better!
And yes Alex I've seen cas6 with bbses with alot of my kits..
As correctly stated by Don_Dan, both photos show PSC chips. :)
Yeah the c9 2133s seem like pscs but I think the cas7 kit are bbses
Are you retard?Have you ever say BBSE chip in your hand or you only speak because you have a mouth and spread non-sense around?
BBSE = EOL
So nothing new is going to use those chips.
Play nicely children. Some screenshots would settle things :D
You guys crack me up...
No need to get personal over a few small chips. :shakes:
All of those low tCL, high tRCD kits are using PSC chips, trust me.
Afaik, only the F3-17000CL8D-4GBXMD kit is built using BBSE ICs.
Thanks Ron! ;)
i'm 99% that those are psc
i can do 2000mhz cas6 on my gskills 2x2 that are psc;)
Wrapping up my little review, online soon... pretty happy with the performance... now the other brands need to send me gear too :p
I will find some XFG to test with my 2600K
I'm just going by my experience that G.Skill is almost solely using PSC on most of their kits. The only manufacturer that has been using BDBG on many kits is Kingston afaik.
BBSE is EOL, but Afrokalle confirmed the set I mentioned above is using BBSE chips. Maybe they're just clearing old stock and they'll change chips soon... who knows?
Thanks! :)
I got these PSC chips on my G.Skill 1600 4GBXM

heads up guys Ron is updating ramlist again, so submit those yummy ic info/photos http://ramlist.i4memory.com/ddr3/ :)
George the 1700CL9D4GBXMD are 1.5Vdimm rated not 1.65 as Ron mentions in the list...

Elpida buy psc and screen cross brand on ic
What do you think?
Sweet, love RAM list. Dont see my F3-17066CL9D-4GBTDS Trident in there but Im quite sure it is PSC anyway. Scales with volts and does 7-9-7 2250+
i have the black PC3-17600 Ripjaws X F3-17000CL7D-4GBXHD (2x2GB) 2133mhz 7-10-7-27 @ 1.65V
i think the have the good Powerchip on it ....

this chip is same G.Skill 2200C7 4GBXHD
1.6V can run 2133 7-10-7-27 1T on Hyper-Pi 32M Pass
**This time G.Skill 2000C9 4GBRM Feb 2011 have PSC XET**
http://img193.imageshack.us/i/img0026bj.jpg/
I think fastest for PSC is XDX => XEX too , but nobody no have or no show picture
XDT => XET , XDY => XEY , XDG => XEG => XFG , XDZ => XEZ , XDE => XEE
you have a PSC XEY

Off topic : how did Kitguru do +2336mhz on their test platform ? With 106.5 Bclock I'm at 2272Mhz... so they were able to OC to 109.5. Great stuff, still would love to see some screenshots for proof. The 2420Mhz is totally out of whack... 113.4Bclock, P55 test platform maybe ?
i7 - 800 Series
can push RAM to the edge
