If you want to see some GTX 480 numbers give me a hand with the SLI hack on ch4 formula :)
Contact Tin Brian, haven't tried his modded drivers on AMD (yet)
Here is the x86 patch. Works fine on the chiv.
Will just give you 2 boot option, sli or no sli. Have fun.
Edit: didn't attach right here is megaupload http://www.megaupload.com/?d=BSC6VGFF
so does this work with 3 way sli or only 2 cards?
Works fine with 3 way :)
You up to some 4 pot benching then?
May be able to do 4 way on that msi. Only seen 3 way on amd so far tho.
You might give this a try:
http://www.xdevs.com/eplugins/conten...php?content.30
That would be optimal but currently i seem to have no 4 way sli adapter....
Thought my EVGA E759 rare beauty still in box untouched had one but i guess not.....
Mhh maybe i should check "another" box might be lucky :D
*Edit*
This looks like it should be fun........I think my room temps just shot up 10C

gappo that link is for win 7.......happen to have one or anyone else for that matter for XP 32 or vista 32?
Chew:
You got an AC for that little room?
That link nex posted has one that works with vista but the xp one wont on amd. What's wrong with 7?
chew, xp is good for sli, triple is possible only on vista and 7 :(
nobody tested 4way sli with hacked drivers even peeps who got 4 gpus and motherboard with 4 slots.

everything you need mate, good luck
but you are running, even triple ;)
remember orange PCB rox :D green sucks hard :D
yep ;)
looks like for air/subzero orange clocks better than those with green pcb.
so, the 4th is ?
I wish, I could test, at least, sli + amd :(
so, Brian, do subzero cooled cpu test asap ;) please ;)
f(l)uck :D
so if you are planning cold everything, please, make sure that you could run 4way sli on "my love" board ;)
you should know which board it is ;) sli don't need bridge to work (it works, but slower).
well, even if you put short info "It works" this won't give any clue about performance of the board as it won't use "bonus chip" but hacked drivers, actually even msi on 790/890 is good as GB on 890 ;) I remember you tested some of these boards if you still have, they also will be enough, for now ;) anyway, eot
please post any screenies, "teasers" :D
amd + triple sli sounds delicious :D
That pic looks hot chew* :yepp:
You will need a truck of LN2 for a longer session with that setup :p:
Can't wait for results, but take your time!
I heard, that scores will be around 50k
Hmmm not sure yet won't know until i scale up cards to see how much clocks do for them.
Testing cpu scaling now.
disabled sli single

enabled sli 3 way

I may have to redo single card results......something is buggy.
looks like the Pci-express slots changed from 2.0 down to 1.0.
Ok preety interesting, it's certainly scaling preety good. Be interesting to see if 4th card continues scaling.
Don't mind the cpu clocks........its hot and this cpu is a turd other than the imc but only one i had freed up atm.
Single 03 with cpu OC.

Awesome.
I wonder what four card scaling will be like. I see your using your GTX2 there, nice ram clocks.
ufff, how do u made it?:)
Told you it worked bloody good :D
So finally sourced a 4 way SLI adapter and sadly it doesn't work or at least work right.
SLI .cfg shows 2 seperate dual sli .cfgs.
well, chew, I think if you could contact with Tin_EOF, maybe you both may do something with it or at least try run 4way on non-dual-nf200 board ;)
4way tried on "love-board" or msi/gb ud7 ? (answer via pm if you want ;) )
so andre-yang-classfield-x58-style-right ? ;)
I think if the software to hacks the drivers could tell the drivers that the motherboard used is EVGA E762 or GIGABYTE X58A-UD9 or SR-2  maybe it would work. any way waiting for 3way sli + cpu subzero cooled amd rig :D that's what we want see chew :D any news about it ? :D
so we're waiting ;)
well, any updates ?
great hack
We are gonna run this rig once again. This time live at quake con on ln2 gents :) My crystal ball says somewhere in 38-39K range if cards are left on air.
And maybe atacking 7 GHz now?:)
to find a 7 gig chip would require oh i dunno binning well over 100 chips? There are 4 7 gig chips in the world. 2 madd owns.
If i were you I would ask madd how many chips he tested just to find those chips that are way out there ;)
Still using the 5 chips which is now down to 4 that i had from the beginning although tested 2 week 21's since then which are nothing special.
For me binning excessively is misleading. It also takes some of the fun out of it for me and for others.......could i bin lots of chips and have a frequency advantage over everyone? sure.....would it be fun anymore? no, i would get lazy and not tune for performance ;)
The Win7 0.8 x64 SLIPatch: http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/sh....php?p=1912614 If anyone is interested in trying. Hell, I may buy a couple of GTX460 1GBs now.
hm, u have right with this....I have 2 chips 1090T BE and between this is 200MHz diference....
Beep: no, diferent coolers, but thinking, temps for some 2D benchmarks was simillary
Awesome...really awesome!!!Does this hack work with all amd chipsets??
Did you get quad SLI to work? Do you use the SLI bridge with your TRI-SLI setup with the hack? I tried it on the MSI 790FX-GD70 a few months ago with three GTX 260's and it worked without the bridge in that test (TRI-SLI). Funny thing was when I installed the bridge later the system wouldn't load Windows.
My OS works with the bridge.
4 way is a no go, seems to need somewhat extensive hacking to enable 4 way.
I haven't done enough testing yet to determine or calculate what a score will be on ln2 yet, i think it will be close to 2x 5970's but not enough if only using air.
Ln2 could get complicated as the OS when hacked seems to be somewhat "fragile"
