If those are an inlet and an outlet on the side, win. Will buy.
If this is truly what Feser had in mind, then this would make filling and draining much easier thanks to the multiple ports.
The idea isn't new...
Phobya G-Changers have dual inlet/outlet...
what im wondering is why it looks like alu.. as they wouldnt be that stupid.. lol
I'm guessing they just made a black anodized aluminum shroud.
A nice touch, in some cases I suppose. Black satin paint is much safer as far as matching many different cases.
It would probably look pretty good in MM cases. A cube for a cube. :D
Interesting little thing
Feser didnt just removed itself from the Rad market ?
Xchanger are out
Was sure rhey retired !Quote:

Just to put things in perspective....in bringing this to market, they killed production of what is, arguably, the most solid performing radiator in the market.
no specs? looks like 120mm ones to me
is that a neoprene pad between the rad n fan?
me think is two in/out port? better flow? if yes would hold new rad buy to check this new baby.
A more accuracy eta would be nice
Definitely an innovative idea, but I would have to agree with Vapor. You can't see the important part yet which is the radiator.
If somehow Feser managed to top their performance of the XChanger line with this feature it would be awesome, but with the way Feser has priced their radiators in the passed, it makes me worry.
I'm really wondering how the water flow/tanks are arranged.
In a "traditional" two pass rad, the rad is "split" into two halves, lengthwise, so the water flows down one length, back up the other half.
In this, is it a two pass arranged in layers, top and bottom vs. side-by-side?
Just wondering given the arrangement of the two sets of ports. The arrangement of the end ports almost seems to dictate it's a two pass that's layered.
Is this an image that can be found on the web or has it been strategically sent out to the most trustworthy Fester shills to seed interest?
I really dislike the fact that Feser charges so much for their radiators, I really can't see myself spending that much on a radiator when the whole watercooling hobby is as expensive as it is. But I guess some can say thats what differentiates me between Xtreme and normal.
It's on Feser's index page....."Who Is It?"
Why are those in/outlets so close to each other??
Phil
Ah, I generally avoid soiling my browser and hardware when I don't have to so, I hadn't looked there.
As for the "layered" 2 pass you speculated on, looks like a given considering the fitting layout on the end of the tank. It's not a new concept, seeing that it's already being used by the GTX.
:p:
We've had a few run in's with a couple of them here and they do cause quite a ruckus every so often. It's like whack-a-mole, they pop up, we smack 'em, they go away for awhile then pop up again. :ROTF:
Yeah, I forgot about the GTX. Of course, Koolance has a rad with its fittings at the end, too, but only at the end, not in both places.
C'est la vie.....given Feser's pricing and product schemes in the past, this "miraculous new" rad will probably be nothing more than a rehash of existing products from other companies....just with a "Screw You" premium from Feser.
Why do some people speak of TFC this way? what have they done to upset you so much? really curious, I've only ever used xchangers, I think there great :)Quote:

why has nobody mentioned the awful voice on their site ?
Its the most awful thing ever, especially at 3 in the morning.
All of the above
+ bad graphic design :welcome:
1: Even the people that buy Feser stuff rarely go onto their site.
2: No one likes a voice that sounds like Gunther, so we stay away from it at all cost.

They could have built the core with a lot of tiny round tubes running through punched fins, think similar to a heatpipe tower cooler. I've thought about doing that for a couple years now. I just wanted to post now so that if that is their design, nobody can claim I stole it.
Time will tell.
Feser: Full of innovative ideas... :lol2:
Lol I was just getting it up there just in case... :p:
I really have been planning on that for a while though. I think a really high performance rad could be made with a hundred or so thin wall small diameter copper tubes puched through aluminum fins, somewhat similar to modern heatpipe coolers.
The restriction would be similar but the coolant/metal surface area ratio would be higher.
While we're guessing at design possibilities. Knowing Fester's penchant for "original" ideas, I'm gonna say dimples.
. . .and may your Jäger machine be empty.
+ bad graphic design and SOUND! Surprise me every time visit their site. Haha!
To be honest, more than one person thought of adapting the recent advances in CPU tower coolers. I want to see a design similar to TRUE with staggered stacked fins adapted to watercooling, that would probably be rather expensive to produce (but again, maybe not if the current production tools from say, Thermalright can be reused) and i'd be very curious to see the actual results. I'm also surprised that TR didnt try to make one (they made a waterblock after all)..
Feser is the best :)
OH Yes! Feser is the best truly! Every self-respecting LC-er should have primochill T3, feser rads and TT for rest of components in his case! :)
Have i mentioned miracleous effects of using snake oil aswell? I might even make flash presentation with sound to ilustrate never-before gains :)
P.S.
Using unicorn horns instead of silver killcoils bring better results too.
I see topic change :)
i like feser design with all the colors - but I've heard only negative about there aggresive marketing handling ...
Perhaps a reason for stopping Xchangers production
They are focusing on their new line of radiators which will be more expansive than the Xchangers. I say let Skinnee get them and test them . . .and let numbers speak. If I wanted to get into cat fights and such I would at at a different forum.
exactly, if its performance is really good, I will consider to buy one, but the price should not be extremely high
Feser deserves to burn in a fire just because of the awful sound on their website. It is officially the worst website that I have ever seen in my life.
And that being said I have never bought and I will never buy their products, just because of the sound. And this thread just gives me more reasons not to than just the sound alone.
price will be high.. like always you get what you pay for..
like always i will still buy for the same reason i buy "monster" brand cables... becuase their build quality & Quality control are much better than the rest.. i dont care about any of the fancy mubo jumbo.. i know know that when i pay more i get more..which any of you penny savers can argue but there is no denying the fact that tfc makes superior product.. just so many people interested in the "bang for the buck" (yes you waterlogged :p:)..
but in the end who cares as its only like 40$ more.. im a poor college student and it doesnt bother me that much :D
<3 theres my 2 cents
Oh yeah, the x-changers were never manufactured in Germany as claimed (merely painted there), made in China like every other rad save Thermochill. ;) The mark up on them was extraordinarily high so they could reap major profits. Go ahead a keep fooling yourself NK, you'll eventually learn someday. ;)
That's like me saying a bottle of my tap water sold for $5/bottle is better than the tap water you get at the store, $5/case.
Just because it costs a lot, doesn't mean it performs well. Thermochill is an exception, as are the Black Ice rads. Look at Swiftech - cheapest of the bunch and still performs like mad.
I agree, although it doesn't mean it works the other way around. Like you stated, Swiftech is dirt cheap compared to other rads, but still outperforms several of those.
I really don't think there's any part in the watercooling industry that the 'more expensive = better' applies, but that's mainly because Feser operates in a lot of areas. Although they do make very cheap fittings, at least here in EU (which leak...).
Feser makes a solid product albeit priced a little high. I'd take it over the MCR's... (j/k waterlogged - don't blow a valve - laugh!)
Maybe we should drop this topic until there's relevant info to add about the actual radiator ;)
And by "maybe we should drop this topic" I mean "Drop it" :fact:
want me to get some quotes from Feser about that new radiator line? I have already been told stuff but I would rather get direct info.
Ow come on guys, Vapor just told us to drop it :ROTF:
well thats good to hear :DQuote:

Actually, the way and behavior of doing business are as important as products performance itself, we´d better not to buy their products to support such company like Fester
OK Alexandr0s, I've let you have a couple days of fun, now please change/remove that sig. http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/6084/waiting2.gif ;)
