You want to see a case that does everything but give he...I mean does just about anything you could ask?
Take a look at that sucker:
http://www.supermicro.com/products/c...47TQ-R1400.cfm
No, it isn't cheap but comes with a redundant 1400w PSU for those big GPU users.:D
Dude, some of us here are under 18:shakes:
80 plus gold to boot. About 5% of 80 plus certified supplies get this certification.
:slobber:
Oh man... That's some good stuff...
Im pretty sure there is poo in my pants now lol
Dave..stop looking at :banana::banana::banana:, it will make you grow old and....oh wait.....:ROTF:
I know, here I was , in my 20's, full head of hair, happily married and then I met Supermicro..:rofl:Quote:

has done an excellent job with a good number of products recently.I wish they made a 2P board that can OC,or we just need to come up with some other means of doing that ;)
yes and no. It will be a dual socket 12 core/24 thread machine but not any motherboard that exists 'right" now..;)Quote:

*steals one, clones drives from current CADD lab computer* BOUHAHAH! now things will run somewhat decently!
I was able to stop looking long enough to post this.
I need a tissue
and some KY
although, one potential downside I see...only 8 hotswap HDD bays...
Well you could do that, or drop in a dual westmere and make that quad socket AMD run in pure terror But I do admit looks nice.Quote:

How much for this beast ? :D
I guess this psu alone is worth >500$
actually it won't be bad. was looking at the certification on those PSU's and at 90+% efficiency at 100% load..Quote:

Mmmh.. not my kind of case. I'm a sucker for AL cases like LianLIs.. and I also like Yeon Yang Server cubes :D
movieman, the 8 drive complaint isnt mine (for me 8 is tons) I posted this link over at ncix, and one guy just finished off building a 24 drive 1TB WD black array...and he's (according to him) either a small array, or a huge one...
yup, some people need/want enough storage to hold every piece of data ever created..Quote:

my storage is as such
my 680i system- 500GB internal, 500GB external
new build currently delegated to rendering a sketchup file for S&G- 2x WD (now BLUE series) 640GB...and that's tons of storage for me
Right now I got around ~8TB total around the house... about 70% full, damn HD movie library :rofl:Quote:

I run out of rooms in cubes, so i know if i had a regular rectangular case, id be so screwed.
That would be an epic system if WCG supported CUDA/OpenCL (Due to all the GPU's shoved in that machine).
<gulp> just happened to be in this section and saw this thread
That case is simply pure hardware p0rn
and so are the screens that Dave posted
Any idea what the price tag is on that 747 (with the power supply)
I think it was app $840.00USD with that dual 1400W PSU..Quote:
