So lets Kick this off.

CPU block: EK-Supreme LT http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=25893
And lots of other little goodys i have all this stuff the only thing i am wating on is Sleaving i will be posting pics of all of this latter tonight so check back in latter please.
-
-
looks like your going to be cutting off allot of the airflow for your radiator with that design. Id suggest something with wider slots, and thin bars going across.
-
Ya i had the same feeling at first to but then i did a test and surprisingly with hi speed fans it allows lets say 75-90% of the air threw witch is alot. and you also have to consider this is just cooling the CPU nothing else so that should be more then enuff.
But also it would be almost impossible to go back now. i really cant put it back on the machine unless i just use it for fans and move the rad witch i really don't want to do.
But other then that what do you thing?
-
tomorrow i will be posting pics of cuting out holes in the mobo tray for cable organizing. and i should be getting my sleaving and i will post pics of that as well.
-
I've just finished a G70 build so i'll be interested to see this come together, subscribed :)
-
not to be rude or anything but that is not a supercomputer motherboard it's the revolution not that it is bad or something just wanted to let jou know
anyway nice build :D
-
Update i did a little work tonight got the reservoir positioned and the pump positioned. haha your right sorry my bad its been fixed.

Will be back hopefully with sleaving pics soon. still waiting for it to arrive.
-
also as you can see in the picture of the reservoir the mounts are a little to wide, i am going to make White frosted ones to tie them into the build a little more.
-
Yeah was going to say if you could just shave off a little bit on the edge would look good. Nice job so far. Keep up the great work.
Really love the top that you are going to use. Looks nice and clean.
-
Ya i was going to or i have another idea for them i will try and sketch them out and see if i can post of a pic of what im talking about latter tongiht. Thanks i was very nervios about cutting the top peace i only had one shot :(
-
It's so hard to cut parts... Don't rush it friend. I'm sure it will look nice.
-
Ya i agree for the plastic mounts odds are i will make new ones that are the right size. or i will just put them on a belt sander and sand them down. cutting that little bit off would be to much work.
-
Just a little update of whats going on.
today i got a new sheet metal break so i could bent that top plate for the rad and to my surprise after a few test pieces i got the hang of it and it turned out really nice. Tomorrow im going to get some flush mount screws so the top fits flush but that's not a big deal as of right now.
Now to the good stuff.
The new toy

Here is a big update for you guys i stayed up Saturday night till 4in the morning sleaving my PSU then all day today i was putting things together and i got a nice look at what the computer is going to look like i still have to get a GPU block then i will send it all of to get powder coated. Here are the pics.

-
So here are the pics of the water block and it installed on the GPU. I was in a hury as i have to get up early for class in the morning but it give you a good idea of what it looks like.
GPU all striped and ready for thermal past and heat pads.

IMO really good layout- love the clean wc'ed rigs!
Only thing I wanted to ask- won't be there any vibrations if you mount pump way like this- straight on chasis without any rubber especially 18w version?
-
man that 295 block is VERY nice, ive seen it before on shops sites etc.
bit when installed it looks stunning!
keep it up man!
-
Thanks I love the look of the block I'm very very happy with it. Ya the pump is going to mounted with a thick fome tape then it's going to be mounted to the mb tray. But thanks for reminding me to get some :-)
-
Here is a little update it has been a long time sense i have posted sorry real life takes prescience over my rig building lol. but last night i cut the side panel i took some pics of it i will have pictures posted tonight. and right after i got it cut i took it all to get powder coated. so it should all be done first of next week then the final process begins.
-
-
There's a funny recursive quality to using an emachines to build a killer watercooled rig. Nice job so far :)
-
lol i know what you mean and the program i used to draw out the pattern for the cut dont even get me start its called omega and its like 20 years old and its a :banana::banana::banana::banana: to work with but i learned it in about 30 min then took another 2 hours just to get the design just right. Still it was a lot of fun and now i know how to do it for the next case i do. good thing my dad owns a sign company its nice to just go to work and play with CNC routers.
-
Nice man! Looking good.
You're not by any chance in Australia are you? I could get some good use out of the CNC machine haha.
-
lol no im not that close to Australia i wish i was tho. i love it down there i have been to australia and new zealand before and i wish i could live there.
-
Those are some nice tools to work with.:)
Your color theme looks fantastic man.
-
Fine!that's great work.
Keep going on and let us know as soon as possible about your updates! It's gonna be a crazy mod!
-
i cant wait to get back to working on the computer. im thinking im going to get a snow day today or at least a hafe snow day. fingers crossed lol
-
Jealous much? Wow, to have personal access to a CNC machine would be amazing, your case is shaping up nicely, well done.
-
-
i can't wait for this rig's finish. :ppp
it will be a clean build.
oh, and nice cables! ;)
-
-
-
Wow - awesome job on that side panel! Nice build.
-
I like the side panel, speaks to my own tastes in design :)
-
lol yours had a little influence on it but i have to say it was a :banana::banana::banana::banana: to design because there was little cuts in the bottom left side for a fan vent in the original side panel so i had to work around it. but i love how it came out im really happy with it all.
-
thats all that matters :) I dont mind anytime someone uses anything similar to me, as far as I'm concerned modding is all about personalization to what you want your computer to look like and making it unique - so far you've done a bang-up job
-
Thanks very much. I agree and if some one wanted to use and idea i have i would love to see what they could do with it. but i have to say you do amazing work and to hear you say that you like it makes it all the better lol. But i have to say its always a little nerve racking the first time you fire up that PSU. But it all worked right out of the box.
-
Nice work.
How much room between the MB tray and back panel on that case?
-
Well to honist almost 0 but more like a 1/4" but it was just enuff to get cables all worked out. I will post a pic of the back to tomorrow.
