Temperature stats would be nice.
WATER 3.3XXG 26度...

first stepping of a gulftown will be crap as bloomfields right? how about a realtemp screen
The i9 is what I am waiting for :)
Just wish people would "get over Windows XP already", why test such powerful CPU's on such an old OS!
He´s using Win7.. at least in vantage
True, but the first shot does look suspiciously like Windows XP? ;)
This westmere/gulftown will run on x58 motherboard ? and can you run some Superpi 1M and 32M test please. Thanks
Come'on lets see a real-temp shot on Prime-load with 1.3v.
So many people are asking, and it is the most existing part of gulftown to see how the 32nm-shrink will affect the temp.
Yea, its X58 mobo, other wise can't overclock.Quote:
如果不是在X58的主機板上 又怎樣可以OVERCLOCKING
Real Temp and Everest temp are not too far off each other.Quote:
REAL TEMP 的溫度跟EVEREST差不多..
What is temp at full load?Quote:
請問full load時核心溫度大約多少度﹖
Nda Haha...............各位請原諒我 有太多的測試我不能PO 只能說這是顆好U
RealTemp does not yet correctly support the i9. No one has sent one my way for testing. :)
Core Temp was just updated. Maybe it can read all 6 cores.
http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/
intel.proart, why do you even bother if you are under NDA? What is your point?
Core Temp 可以正常執行 但是溫度確不準確..........
Will this be running on ASUS Rampage II Extreme ? I wonder if i need new mobo for it..............
To titillate ;)
Intel Pro art said that he apologises but he has too many tests to do and cannot release any or take any requests, however this CPU is good for you :)
(I think)
The jist is, please do not ask for requests, I cannot release much, but this CPU is good
John
I understand that under NDA that info is very limited but, no temp info? What motherboard and bios? Was Vantage run with physx on or off? He is using a Nvidia card so cpu results could be skewed in Vantage. These questions could be answered, no? To show a starving man a charcoal grilled steak, or to show an alcoholic a cold beer and say no, you can't have any is beyond cruel. If no other info than what has been provided by intel.proart can be released, than don't even bother. I pesronally do not see the point in it. Hype, hype, hype.
I hear ya dpa, but I want to hear it from intel.proart.
Thank you for the input intel.proart. Is there anything else you can share without breaking the NDA? Some extreme overclocking maybe?
intel.proart please use english even if you have to use traslator software
we all understand screens though :D post more of them heheh
Good work Buddy !!!!! :D:up:
I'm just waiting for Apple to create a universal translator so I don't have to copy and paste foreign text.
I'm just not happy with the stock speeds they are releasing it at though. Or hear say and screens shots scattered here and there on the internet.
:cool::cool::cool::cool: WIN 7 32BIT

omg....Cinebench points. Ufffff
3D06 @ 4.3GHz please!!!
Alex!
i cant conceive of Cinebench i9 at 4GHz :-D
wth.. 22.5K points in cinebench (32bit) with only 3.4ghz..... arghhhhh ned this cpu nowwwwwww...... :slobber:
pls keep us updated.
intel.proart if you please use simplified chineese I might be able to help with translation :p:
Otherwise it's a quite hard nut to crack
intel.proart, 您现在是在用那一个主机板? 测试结果令人满意!
I'm hoping they don't nerf clock speeds too much with the new chip due to the extra cores...;)
http://img38.imageshack.us/img38/920...4ghzrender.jpg
core i7 920 Oc to 4ghz
got 45 sec in render
i9 and wprime? :) We want see it :)
3.8G WPRIME OK??? WIN 7 32BIT

06 CPU test @ 4.2 - 4.5GHz? :D
Maximum stable oc?
ok thats enough
we dont want to see any more :D hahaha
uhnnnn and we still have to wait soooo long for the cpu. :(
Btw. is it possible to post SPi results?
I know its not multithreaded, but you know its still a famouse benchmark. I want to see how the 12mb cache affects the score. :)
whau, nice, do u have too x64 windows? Cinebench is better in x64 ,-) (maybe 28 000 in x64)
what motherboard do you use?
6 cores and 12MB Cache gives 2MB per core so it´s not so much faster i think until we have atleast 16-24MB of cache
lol, but its to time and for long time the highest performace CPU. But from i7 to i9 its no effective upgrade.
WINDOWS VISTA PHYSX OFF GTX 295 QUAD SLI

WOW that's quite insane..
@PytonOrm read what admin wrote and then write here again..
你是我的朋友和驚人的好成績有好友 :D:eek::clap::up:
So COOL 1.2Vcore. Vantage score ! Oh BOY! never see it comes too soon.
Impressive ! Tnx for posting !
thanks for the tease, your the man
OMG, this is monstrum...send me one chip to Czech republic :D.....u must test Cinebench in x64, it will be crazy score....
goodygoodygoody:clap:
Can you do a super pi 1m run at 3.8GHz? i want to see how much the 12MB benefit.
Do you know if there are any tweaks in the IMC? what is your NB clock?, are you running triple channel?
great info keep it coming
@ intel = 4-4.2 GH for CPU score 3D mark 2006 plzzzzz :)
can i have TWO one for benching and one for gaming damn thats nice PROART
I wonder how much it is when it's released. My I7 will just be a hard crap if this CPU price is low than $500.:ROTF:
...............................................
and superpi 32M?:)
maybe some gaming benchs :>
Also can you tell us what speed is it suppose to ship out in ??
What is the real vcore voltage can you tell because 1.2v is very very low.
也许有游戏benchs:“
另外,你能告诉我们什么速度是它想在出货??
什么是真正的核心电压,因为,你能告诉1.2V的是非常非常低。
Wow best thread in a long time. Looks like I'm skipping i7.
Is there only one i9?
Oh I see. I totally forgot that i9's made for high-end users.
Going for extreme CPU like that is cool for extreme users like you said. I'm not that extreme, I think buying a dual-cpu mobo on LGA1366 later that would cost around $600 -$800(maybe) and another 920 to be using for workstation, plus memory. It's better and more valuable for workstation or server for ones who wants more performance in most calculation types for a computer, as long as applications or Operating Systems support for multi-task processing. I just think.:yepp:
The 6 core / 12 thread monster being tested here is the one and only at the moment. I'm sure if Intel sees a market for a $500 6 core CPU sometime in the future then they will release an i9 junior. Intel has a habit of filling every segment and price point of the market with a choice of CPUs.
I just hope AMD's Thuban performs great and will be released earlier(Q3 when Gulfy is sched. Q1)http://www.operationsports.com/forum...ins/tongue.gif. It might lower Gulfy's pricing.
But for now, I don't know if it'll happen.
That's right Unclewebb, I now remember seeing an intel road map that has the i9 as the top tier replacement for the i975.
Still, this is a pretty large improvement. I would definitely go for this over 975, 960, 950, 940, 3540, 3550, 3580. I also bet the mid range i7s will take a price drop when i9 comes out.
OMG!! That Vantage score is unbelievable. I cannot imagine how much this will impact rendering. At $1k it might be worth it, but better start saving now. :D
EXTREME EDTION IS COOMING ?????????????????????????????????????
http://img34.imageshack.us/img34/7350/pic00002h.jpg
http://img149.imageshack.us/img149/5706/pic00001l.jpg
not bad :)
The GigaByte EasyTune screen shot in post 91 (above) implies that the cores, both physical & logical, can be independently clocked with different ratios (Multipliers). I have not seen this within the current i7 tool sets. However, I am not fluent with Gigabyte... Does anyone have insight into this? Has this been announced as an i9 feature?
intel.proart 你为什么编辑某些职位和删除信息,如九十五瓦特1“和照片”?
intel.proart Why do you edit posts and the delete certain information, such as 95 watts 1 "and photographs"?
So how does Counter Strike run at 12 threads? :p:
is this ES locked or unlocked?
maybe turbo mode? Don't know what my CPUz shows, i'm not at home...
