[DeDaL] DDR3 -2666MHz new WR on i7 Platform with Corsair DominatorGT 2000C7
-
Very nice results and pictures. Seems the Hyper IC's do like the cold.
-
Damn nice clocks, very well done.
In your opinion what were the keys to achieve this? CPU IMC? RAM cooling? What about voltages?
Now you have to find an AM3 CPU which can handle these frequencies and finally sub10 is yours. :D j/k
(But please do me a favor and write DDR3-xxxx next time instead or stick to the I/O clocks. It`s really confusing this way.)
-
yah, its Epida Hiper and it scales from cold. :)
QPI/DRAM - 1.8325
Vddr - 2.05
-
Wow...Awesome!! frequency and voltage:D
It's very great
-
I love the pics :) Congratz man :)
-
Awesome! I love subzero ram experiments.
-
Great job! Nice to see Russia rocking WRs for a change! :D
Love these pics btw.
-
absolute astonish work man ...
quite against the "the words on the streets" regarding the ICs liking cold ... , the same happened back to d9gtr days , when "words on the street" said that they did not scale with cold , and it was tested (not sure how much or many modules / combos) it was tested with tought ...
We decided to go ghetto dice on the sticks , and in return , we got a sweet scaling ...
keep pushing it
-
 congrats

hahaha :banana::banana::banana::banana:ing awesome :D

haha!
freaking amazing. welldone dedal.
i knew it wasnt true that hypers dont scale with cold, why wouldnt it >_<
i'll be ic'ing some d9gtr and see what i get , this inspired me
-
wow.. nice result.... thanks for the pics!!!

I've heard the same.
Though with the inconsistencies Elpida's experienced with the 50nm process it's likely that it's a case by case characteristic.
-
wow congrats... 1.8+ cpu vtt  crazy nice results :D
-
-
:eek2: Another insane DeDal action! Congrats.
subzero ram clocking, im lovin it
-
Great result DeDaL!
The First 2000C7 Kit what we get during our CeBIT Live show was coldbugged arround 0° (no way to run the system with this memory in a BenchBox)
Nice to see that the new batches scales nice with the Cold!
But also nice C0 what can hold this heavy Uncore!
-
 WoW Dedal that's great speed man congrats
-

Great Frquency And Work
Your Life Guys With Ice World :D

DeDaL, congratulations on this great achievement! You seem to be taking a record after record. Keep on pushing the HW to it's limits! :cheer2:
This kinda resembles my sub-par Crucial Ballistix Tracer PC6400, strapped into Nanok's RAMPOT and cooled with cascade :D

Pure crazynes!!
Congratz DeDal on that achievement!
-
Amazing work!
Congrats!
-
Congratulations Dedal is fantastic 5332MHz. NB freq.
-
Congratulations, really impressive speed.
-
amazing stuff dedal!!! 1400mhz cas 9? :p:
-
Congrats Dedal, truly amazing RAM clocks you go there.
I wonder if they can run anything at that speed.
Too bad on one of your sticks, good luck on RMA.
-
good work ....as always..... :)
-
-
Very nice results.
good job

Hyper-fast and hyper-dead .. tough, nice really (try freezing that "dead" maybe it will come to live..).
Grats to WR.
-
congrats, awesome frequency and killer IMC
-
lets run prime 95 on it:rofl:
-
Congrats! Just Everest cashmem test was needed!
-
That's pretty sick, good work Dedal
-
gratz dedal  nice Ram-tastic and QPI Rock
-
Wow... great achievement!
My sticks are of same production week.^^
-
Crazy work there my friend! Really impressive.
-
wow... insane uncore clocks :D
congrats :toast:
so how much did they scale from going to ln2?
im curious how this will work out on 1156 since the uncore mem limitation is diferent there so we dont need those super high uncore clocks for high mem clocks anymore :D
do you have an 1156 system already? if yes then throw those sticks in and lets see how high you can get there! :D
and i hope by then we have some memory that doesnt degrade randomly :D
since one stick of this kit already died, theres a high chance the other sticks will die too man :(
so id say.... give em hell! ^^
2.5 vdimm on ln2, come on!
-
Many thanks guys :yepp:
saaya, I dont have 1156 platform (mobo only Gigabyte EP55-UD5 http://occlub.ru/forum/showthread.php?t=255)
LN2 give about 100MHz, but NB freq is bottlenek was in this system.
It is not limit for RAM :D
-
Nice job man....
When you buy Dominator C7 ?
-
Wow congrats. Simply amazing
-
-
LOL cool.. but hopefully the ice isnt damaging your motherboard.. gotta blow off that ice before it melts in the DIMM slots! LOL :D
-
Verry nice, i like it alot !
-
Thanks again :)
Most funny thing: maxvalid freq on this CPU was arround 5100-5150 with this board :ROTF:
