I dont know if theres any game, even on a 30" and 8x AA that actually uses more than 1Gb GDDR....The bottleneck is usually elsewhere, other than vRAM capacity (1gb).
I cant envision 1Gb per GPU being an bottleneck, much less 2Gb x2. Whe the time comes that >1Gb is used by games the gtx295 march will be obsolete imo.
I may be out of the loop but I think its just for average joe braggin rights.
Do any review show improvements with 2Gb ram per GPU over 1Gb ? Including multi card extreme setup and game settings ?
