I've been lusting after a Mini P180 for a while now, I just never seem to have the funds.
SilverStone:
SG04H (the handle is machined well, I have one of these, very nice, but u need to deal with the heat pocket at the top)
SG04 (no handle)
SG03 (previous SG04, not as curvy)
SG02F (little longer than the previous SG02's)
SG01F (little longer than the previous SG01's)
FragBox (shorter thatn SG01/2F's) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811163071
Lian Li:
A05/A05N (fit's both ATX and mATX, some places will drill a 120mm hole for u, www.performance-pcs.com)
Note, if u go this route, best to go with a modular PSU that is the "standard" size, it get's very tight with an extended length PSU + long CD-ROM drives + long video cards.
Antec P180
Silverstone Tj08
Both cases are very well build.
But you can mount longer video cards and watercooling in the P180.
There is only space for one single rad in the Tj08
Configuration:
Nehalem i7 920
Cooler Mugen 2
DFI LP JR X58-T3H6 mATX
3072(3x1024) MB Corsair Dominator 1600 MHz
BFG GTX 285 SLI mode
SSD 64GB Mushkin
1000W power supply Sirtec HPC-1000-G14C
Fan controller NZXT Sentry LX
Antec mini P182 black

Mini P180
my votes goes to the tj08. you can mount two single rads in there, which should be enough. the mini P180 is the same size as an ATX case but can only take mATX boards.
my vote goes to the minip180
Build your own!
Mini P180 white gets my vote. :)

Lian Li V350 gets my vote.
NZXT Rogue isn't bad.
Like the QMicra myself

I wouldn't consider any of these IMO. They are too LARGE to really be considered an mATX case. Why not just get an antec 300 or something? its the same size as a p180 as previously stated.
I wouldn't get a case like that since you'd be limited in mobo size.
What do you plan on using to cool your i7 anyways?
Since the thread has gone bigger and bigger, I have the Gene
and it looks great in a MM H2go, the extra space you gain on the
video card side of the board, gives you plenty of room for a second
double rad, so it's a great set up for watercooling and very portable..

I would choose the Sliverstone SG03. It's light and great build and theres more room in it than you think. I mean I've modded mine to fit everything in my sig into it and so you would easily be able to fit what you want if you stick to a Matx board and watercooling.
Could you show some pictures of you setup richh999? I'm really interested to know how much room there is for your 240 mm. radiator.
I'm actually really interested in putting watercooling in a SG04 (internally the same as the SG03). I'm not sure if I will ever do it as it can be quite expensive, but it's still interesting to imagine what is possible with such a setup. Would be very easy to carry around for sure.
Qmicra v2
TJ 08
P180 Mini
NZXT Rogue
Lian Li 350
CM Elite 340....... as the cheapo one :D
And I wouldn't bother taking a look at NZXT panzerBox, even being ATX.
Personally I have my heart set on the lian li pc-v350b. It looks amazing.
I would also consider the thermaltake lanbox light.
IU went with the Antec Mini P180 and it's on sale at the Egg.
what a sweet case!

Hey. I'll post some pics hopefully later, I just had the back re cut using a cnc router as I did it with a dremel and jigsaw in steel last time and it didn't look too great but worked though. I'm picking it up this afternoon.. I'll take some photos of the re-build at the same time so you can really see how cramped it is inside with the ATX board and 2 9800gtx's and 4 HD's.. I may start a thread of it as well for others who are intrested as it is quite impressive IMHO..
Sorry for the wait..
What? 4 HDDs and a freakin' ATX board? Are you trying to make your SG03 obese? :p:
Now I'm really interested though.
I have a few Danger Den Tower 16s that work really well for mATX builds.

Well that and 2x 10.5" dual slot graphics cards a watercooled quad core using a 240mm rad and a couple of fans, oh and a 1000w psu.. I think thats it, Its all internal as well however I haven't yet purchased a slim line dvd drive for it though but I've already made the space for it to go into.. It can get rather cramped in there..
CNC bit broke today so I may not be able to get the back until tomorow or friday but I may post a few teaser shots later of the tempoary back... :D:D
Well here are the teasers I promised, unfortunately I haven't been able to get time to cut the back in al on a cnc machine so you will have to do with the quick jigsaw half done one.
With most of the hardware in, missing a fan and 3 HD's. talk about needing cable managment.

Heres a shot with the temporary back.

So here it is all together.

and a shot of the internals, or as much as you can really see.

I still need to get a slim line dvd drive and I have been playing with the idea of putting a pico ITX in. I checked today and I do have space so I shall see as it would be quite nice to hae a dedicated machine for D/L and music.
Enjoy.
Wow very nice.
Is it just me or do you have only one fan on your radiator?
Just out of curiosity, how much space is there between the top of the graphics cards and the side panel of the case? I'm wondering whether it's possible to install another radiator between the side panel and the graphics cards and then just make a hole in the side panel for ventilation. This would allow you to have a dedicated radiator just for your GPU('s).
Thanks. There is only one fan on the radiator as there is not enough space for a second as the graphics cards touch the radiator at the bottom end.
There is about 70mm from the top of the cards and side panel. This should be the same for the stock case. I was thinking of putting a 120GTS-Lite in there as that would fit but the hard drives at the bottom come up and so you would need to remake the whole of the bracket to raise where I've put my fan by a few cm.
I may just add the graphics cards into my loop as my cpu temps are at room temp as the radiator performs fine as negative pressure from the side fan and graphics cards pull air through the bottom.
i built a nice E8400 @ 4.05ghz/8800GTS/74gb raptors in RAID 0 in a Lian-Li V350B last year and still love the thing. my friend bought it from me and still games on it today.
I've been eying the red Lian li v351 lately. Might do a red and gold/yellow build but I already have a yellow wavemaster (full atx) gathering dust because of lack of new hardware. I'm also looking to make an i7 build in the fall which will be mATX because of what the DFI and GENE boards are capable of. Damn you lack of funds!
