First look Biostar TA790GX A3+ & Phenom II X4 955 -> 4246Mhz air

Biostar's TA790GX3 A2+ and Tpower X58 has been my main priority but the last few hours i've had the pleasure of playing with new AM3 based system, a sample of TA790GX A3+(almost a retail version) and an AMD Phenom2 X4 955 BE from my source.

vcore at auto -> 1.344v

its not so hard to reach 4200MHz on air
vcore at 1.456v (good for screen)

4100MHz pi1m stable and i tried a Pi32m at same frequency but it freezes at start

Pre release retail manny, and i don't think the ES you or I or a few others have are 955's ;)

PcCI2 now murder my IGP 3d06 score with that thing :D want to see what it can do with the added ddr3 bandwidth.

Whats default volts out of curiosity if you can say Never mind 1.35 defaults...Hmmm.

im out of LN2 and im a little busy at work,Friday maybe and will be funny cz Biostar seems to be very stable with high settings and volts

cant wait to see the impact with the Biostar-955 and cold :D

im amazed with the new look ,clean ,8 pin 12v conector and they replaced the 4pin fan conector ,i like the new position and the new Biostar AM3 its much better for OCing than TA790GX3 A2+

Only need 2917, should be short order with the higher bandwidth of ddrIII, 4k very realistic I think with 1800+ ram speeds.

For comparison: X2 + DDR2 800 + sideport + 256MB

I mean, your upgrade is not ideal for a little performance. But il to upgrade :-), 945 or 955 and M4A79 Deluxe:up: (i heard, x4 940 really works on my old ASUS M2N-E! With "old" Bios from Dezember 2008)

Last week i read a article where they said that only the 955 will be BE and the 945 is a normal edition. I guess we will find out soon enough.
