Crucial Value Triple-ch 1333C9 it crazy value

Hello everyone !, about last week i received memory from Crucial distribute in Thailand for make review and it amazing value memory after tried, so price here about ~ 100USD

First tried on voltage at 1.65V for max freq. on CL7,8,9

Sweet kit Zolkorn, Crucials value sticks have always been good :) They're only $60 over here :eek:

This chip it seems very powerful and almost similar than mine

I think you can stabilze them about 1,82v with 2000Mhz 8-8-8-28 timings!;)

Too bad I can't try mines in i7 system yet..

lucky sticks ZoLKoRn, thanks for share, good & cheap enough to buy some for subzero testing but at low volts nothing special like all microns in i7 system :)

btw, Prime95 1Hr. Blend Mode is almost like a walk in the park, lets see some memtest over 97% memory usage for +500% :D

I tried only 1600C7 at 1.65V but i'll try more with other speed and timing ;)

Wow! Nice stuff, that Crucial. I wondered if they're any good when looking for better RAM than my first OCZ. Ended up with buying some Gskill Pi Black. :cool:

2000mhz for $30...thats xtreme!!!!!

And that 1333C9 kit can reach 1600C7 with quite low VDimm also..

Yep, Micron owns Crucial, Crucial uses solely Micron chips.

I've been through a few of these kits myself, have two 1333MHz C9 specced value thingies, they do about 900MHz 7-6-5 somewhat stable. GTS chips. :)

For now on i checking other pair it all D9JNM with this model but future i'm don't sure for D9JNM but sure for Micron chip because same as Mean Machine told :)

Bros! i bought this new stick but the chip is not JNM anyway.
I thought the new module is not JNM anymore.
Trust me. I bought THEM a lot but this time they are not JNM at all.

The Crucial value RAM are very good RAM as I had the 2x1GB sticks for my 790 and they would do 1900 at 7-7-7-21 1T. Not to mention they were $12 a piece!!!

No, not all are microns despite the crucial brand. I can't confirm it myself but that is what I've been told


And yeah, I have a 3x2GB kit myself and if you get micron IC then you can easily expect ~1800 stable with reasonable <1.9V volts and even 2K for some 1M testing or more depending on luck

I've never seen a Crucial kit with other chips than Micron, for sure. But I suppose there is a possibility.

I heard something from my friend with new Crucial Tracer 1600C8 Tripple-Channel it used Samsung HCF0 IC lol :confused:

btw. i have it now and i'll try to remove heatspreader and will sharing again ;)

I bought 12 kits back in September, and they were all D9GTS :clap:

Sold a bunch, gave one kit to TAT at GOOC 2008, and have three unopened kits left.

Yea, gts should be just as good if not better. At least gts on 1GB modules scales past 2V and can run tighter subtimings

yep, I was surprised as well but obviously they sometimes do use non micron chips for some reason

Thanks to the OP for this thread. I just bought 3x1GB JNM kit for my buddy, it was bundled with P6T motherboard, payed less than ~ 80€.

Very similar results from Ballistix 6gb 1333mhz CL7 kit here - 1600mhz 7-7-6-20-1T 1.65v. Not tried higher speed and higher latency yet as tbh I didnt imagine Id get near 2000mhz so I didnt try (200bclk so 1600 or 2000) - looks like I have some playing about to do when I get home to see what they can do.

$100 for value ram is quite expensive, but it doesn't matter because a good performance

some update after a quite long time:DI have this memory with Microns D9JNM's on AMD platform and it's "a little" good:cool:judge for yourself

VRAM was around 1.98V...If you want to see some different benchmarks or settings, I can do it on Crosshair IV Formula, which may be better for RAM testing:up:
