E8600 does 6650MHz on Gigabyte EP45-DQ6

I never thought this board would do that great FSB with air :eek:

Very nice E86. GB has unsupported E0 bios for EP45-UD3...

I got this board yesterday from a friend of mine and did the mods quickly. I hadn'd time to try older BIOS'es :(

Vivi2 will test some q822a44x later on ... so should be interesting, but also the new chips seems strong, the yield is sweet

I'll try my Q822A433 also soon. Hope it's good as well :)

Yes it does, efficiency can be as good as on Asus. Too bad the board i tried doesnt run at low temp :(

I don't know where have you been last few months (or last year). Not only you, there are many peoples that are shocked seeing 2V on E86. Hey, this is XtremeSystems forum and under LN2 cooling 2V is nothing strange. And if you're asking will it degrade... It'll not if you know how to use LN2 and scale voltage;)

I've seen 2,3xV run through E8600 ;)

tested 1 of the 2 Q822A444's on rampage extreme. coldboot -69 and CB -100 and clocks 5.9, but it booted 5.85 below -69 to avoid CB so it seemed good. Myabe the rampage is buggy which they sometimes are, we will test the second 444 only 21 Feb :/, but i have high hopes. I would not recommend someone buying this batch tho

2V is not really too much on these. They don't really ever stop responding to voltage as long as you're cooling them well enough.

Actual Vcore was 2,02V ;)

Nice freq , can u show it one et6 screen about 1-2 ref value.

You didn't make some extra "tweaks" in w2k3 that I told you to make :p:

What aobut tweaking tRAS, tRFC, tREF and PL ? Or the board don't like PL under 15 on these FSB?

PL didn't go under 12, and with PL12 time wasn't better. Only tRFC made difference...
Actually, I forgot to tweak memory for that run. I tested higher Vtt and got that score and saved it. After that I was going to tweak mem, but then mobo started failing and then I run out of LN2 :D

Will not share it here, msn please :p: :D
So, we can expect sub7 this weekend ? :D
