oh wow... looks nice indeed! :D
:slobber::slobber::slobber: now that is one seriously good looking WB
Are you planning on doing a monster GPU Folding@Home rig with that?!?!
wow, that looks awesome.
now the real question is, does what flow over the rest of the block? or only the northbridge section
Mips?
would definitely like to see some temps.
Posting a picture of a block without the manufacturer's name is not good manors. :)
Now I want to build an i7 rig again! Damn you!
If you want to create a pre-order book...put me in it!!
Tasty!! and it's for my proposed next build
Black screws needed :yepp:
put me down for 1. i can speak for about 6 other people as well. where can we get them?
sick stuff six, thou whats with the reichs mark? ist das nur ein handwerks beispiel oder ein politische standpunkt?
Definately Mips. Black allan screws would make this block look sooo much better!
Or have i said that before on Mips blocks? :D
Open up the puppy and lets do some block comparison. Looks good except for the silver screws.
the pic isnt loading! I must see now!!! :p:
wow six some of your stuff is pretty leet.
and yeah its mips.. or his website says you can order at mips.
that looks so nice
Very, very, very, very, very NICE!
(sorry, just watched AI ...)
Thanks for all your compliments. Itīs Mips. The flow goes through the complete block.
Like written itīs a preview we are working on. So takes maybe two weeks more till its available.
Die Reichsmark ist nur ein Handwerks-Beispiel ;) Was the first test with my selfmade cnc-machine.
sweet, came out pretty good. this is really good work. also like the "jaegermeister" :)
hey what is that wicked block on the red board. that has all the little tubes go in and out off?
what board is that and how well does it work. that looked really interesting to me.
Itīs an old board not really interesting.
When is MIPS going to do blocks for GPU's?
When we dont have enough to do ;)
got the email m8
dam that looks hot! :yepp:
now the mosfets please! :D
The mosfets are already available.
Looks like this.
http://s11b.directupload.net/images/081129/ollsxv78.jpg
Ordernumber MCH2157
http://www.mips-computer.de/images/mch2157.jpg
Ordernumber MCH2159
http://www.mips-computer.de/images/mch2159.jpg
sweeet! :D
I'll bet they are too expensive for me. :p:
How much is it for the whole set? :)
Usual price like the other blocks @ www.mips-computer.de.
Take a look.
Six you guys need to work on a single mosfet design. :P
Were all kinda tired of having to get 2 blocks for mosfet when it can be done by 1 single block.
And the next board ? Two single ones are compatible if you are lucky like by this board.
Any price estimate for this?
Veery nice!
I'm thinking water to cool the nf200 and the ws revolution looks like the perfect candidate.
Think you can repost the image for the chipset block? The image doesn't work anymore. Also, when purchasing the mosfet blocks, do they come in pair or we have to buy 2 of them?
The image is still working.
One mosfet block has order-number MCH2157
The other mosfet block has order-number MCH2159
Price for the mosfet block: visit www.mips-computer.de
Price for the triplechip block will be like the other similar triplechip blocks shown in the shop.
What about the image for the first post(which was made by you, six)? The one doesn't seem to load for me. Is that image the image for the northbridge and southbridge block?
Also, when buying the mosfet block, do they come in pairs or I have to buy 2 blocks?
Try again the first page to take a look to the image and tell me if it works for you now.
You need to buy two blocks :
One mosfet block has order-number MCH2157.
The other mosfet block has order-number MCH2159.
Nope, the first image does not work for me. I'm still getting the directupload.net and no hotlinking message. Any news on when the chipset block will be released?
It's still working for me. If you're having problems viewing the images you should be checking things on your end.
I put it now to imageshack.us. If it dont works now then press the reload page again button.
Thanks a lot for reuploading.
Damn!!!! The block is super sexy. I want it badly. It would be nice if it would be avaible by the 23rd of this month since I would be ordering my i7 system and new water cooling kit.
Since you have an image of the board with the blocks on, think you can give me an high resolution image of the board without the blocks, heatsink, and etc on? It would be nice if you can give me three image, an image of both naked area of the voltage regulator and an image for the north and south bridge.
No.
Ok, any plans to do a single mosfet block for either boards? :D
Also no because two mosfet blocks are often upward compatible for future boards and the price is the same like a single mosfet block.
Well, I hope someone decides to take my money and make one for either board.
What's the update on the chipset block at the moment?
First pieces are available but not displayed in the shop till now.
omg thats sexy why can they make blocks for ep45-ud3p?
www.mips-computer.de has some for EP45-Series.
NB MCH2044
SB MCH2045
MOSFETS MCH2156
:shocked::shocked::shocked::shocked::shocked:
Wow, I don't have that board but I love your blocks!
Just want to make sure, you guys ship internationally right? Also, how long would it take to reach New York City?
If not, do you guys have any e-tailers?
Also, does your website have an english page? It is quite hard to navigate through if I want to make any purchases.
Mips ship worldwide.
For details of selling or ordering please refer to www.mips-computer.de by clicking on "Kontakt" button.
For now the Website is in german-language.
I plan on using 3/8 ID tubes, does your blocks includes those fittings or do I have to purchase them myself? If I do, what fittings are compatible with your blocks?
The threading has G1/4. Fittings are not included.
Oh wow yea it is kinda hard to navigate the page if you dont understand german. Ok from what I am able to deduce from the site is that the block will be 69.90 Euro which is $90 USD? No? If thats correct then good price.
This is correct.
If someone dont understand anything on the website then please write your question or order
in english by a mouse click on "Kontakt". Below there is a email address from Mips.
lovely block and great skills. i was browsing your site: what is this?
http://www.sixdesign.de/cooler.html
Gorgeous block, as usual.......like the motherboard, too. Now I'm back to thinking about an i7 upgrade....again....dammit!!! ;)
Thanks to all.
This was a test to use instead of a radiator this thing.
When water is evaporating it can get cooler then the environment temperature.
Works well but the problem is that the loop is open an the water gets bad with the time and you have to refill a lot of water.
By the way, the homepage has old stuff.
Hey not bad. 106,11 €* shipped. (137.06 USD) Good stuff.
You pay 36 Euro shipping by Aquatuning.de ?
Mips ship:
Europe Euro 15,00
International Euro 20,00
I know shipping is expensive with them, but they also sell alot of other stuff that most other shops don't have, in fact I'd lean as far out of the window as claiming no online shop anywhere in europe has a similar sized selection of wc parts so you can get a years supply of "exotic" stuff with just paying for shipping once.
Actually 47,37 Euro @ shipping. The block itself was 58,74 Euro on the site. Long as the total didn't come up to more then 150 USD I wasn't complaining. They are shipping it via German Post. I'm still new to buying items in Europe so I dont know if that's the best shipping option avaliable, but it was the only one offered to me by the site. Again long as it wasn't over 150 USD total and it doesnt take a month to get here I'm not complaining.
Waterblock these beautiful, I wanted to order on the site http://www.mips-computer.de/ unfortunately I did not understand everything to go through my order, I have sent a mail and hope they meet me, and nothing is in stock on http://www.aquatuning.de/
Sure you will get an answer from Mips in business hours.
True, they are very fast,
Here is the price for France.
for the asus p6t6 ws revo you need the following blocks
mch2053
mch2157
mch2159
the blocks costs euro 137,70, shipping to france costs euro 15,00.
shipping to france only via eu banktransfer or paypal (+4% paypal taxes)
possible.
And then, towards the island of Reunion + 20.00
Just an update. Order status is Versendet per Aquatuning.de. Looks like the site is saying they are expecting more stock of the block 2/21.
Just to help since my build is similar and looking to aquire MIPS blocks.
Here is the google translated version of the MIPS website. It helps with some of the areas that doesn't translate to english.

For areas that still do not translate, cut and copy the dialog into google's translator here: TRANSLATE
Are there plans to offer a PT6T complete set to include a small discount since it would be considered a set?Quote:

Triple chip-POM & Mosfet blocks
mch2053
mch2157
mch2159
MIPS has some really nice blocks. I will look to order soon. As I think other posters mentioned you should consider a group buy (that is of course if MIPS could handle the volume of orders they would receive), I am sure many P6T6 owners are watching this thread.Quote:
Six:
I order all three blocks last week....they are in transit as we speak. Maybe I got the last set?!? :D
I'll update with pics and overall quality when they get here.
I had to pay shipping twice because I didn't order it all at the same time and the first order already shipped out. 100% my fault becuase I wasn't sure if I was going to WC the mosfets. But if you remove the heatpipe with the 3 heatsinks attached you almost have to WC the one mosfet unless you cut down the heatpipe and leave it on the one mosfet.
$123.37US (93.50 EUR) for the triple chip (NB/SB) block shipped
$120.68US (91.31 EUR) for the mosfets blocks shipped.
Basically I paid an extra $25.56 (20.00 EUR) flate rate to US for shipping.
So if you order all three blocks at the same time is should cost $218.29 shipped to US. Fitting are not inlcuded.
@eclipset: There will be a set next time but its not worth to wait for because you save only few.
There was allready a group buy. I cant make it because i live in germany.
The triple block arrived today....
Very nice!
You can clean it from protection oil with a soft kitchen paper.
guys is it possible to liquid cool just the mosfets leaving the stock heatsinks on the SB/NB?? Do you have to physically cut the heat pipe that connects the main heatsinks to the mosfets do it ? or can you unscrew the pipe off the main black heatsink??
Thanks
First, what MB are you talking about? The Asus P6T6 WS Revolution has blue heatsinks.
The one you will have to cut. Does not unscrew. Here i cut the heatpipe off to leave the one mosfet heatsink on. I'm taking it off anyway and using a WB but the other I will probably leave on to have less clutter.
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...1&d=1235151579
The mosfets don't get hot on this board. The thermal pads on them don't even melt. The NB/SB do get hot...so much on the one you can't really leave you finger on it for very long.
Also, just want to note that you lose one MB mounting location when using this block. Probably not a big deal since there are 9 total.
Someone correct me if I am wrong. The mosfets on the P6T6 run quite cool. If you water block them it will help but is more for show. What I heard is that the southbridge gets very hot and the northbridge gets quite hot as well. So basically that is the set you very much want to cool. As the previous post shows it wont be that difficult to remove the OEM sinks.
Correct...the mosfets do not get hot at all on this board. Only reason why I am water cooling the one is because I have to cut down the heatpipe that is connected to the one mosfet. Rather not have the copperlike dust falling out of the inside of the cut heatpipe. Was thinking of soldering it closed but I'll just put the block on.
