The mosfets don't get hot on this board. The thermal pads on them don't even melt. The NB/SB do get hot...so much on the one you can't really leave you finger on it for very long.
Also, just want to note that you lose one MB mounting location when using this block. Probably not a big deal since there are 9 total.
Someone correct me if I am wrong. The mosfets on the P6T6 run quite cool. If you water block them it will help but is more for show. What I heard is that the southbridge gets very hot and the northbridge gets quite hot as well. So basically that is the set you very much want to cool. As the previous post shows it wont be that difficult to remove the OEM sinks.Quote:
