Have they been released?
Yes they have
Newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130439
Tigerdirect: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...&Sku=E145-0297
EVGA: http://www.evga.com/products/moreinf...017-P3-1292-AR
its gonna be like the 9800GX2 block.
BIG BLOCK in the middle cooling both cards.
Weee, were back to 2kg cards again.
That was Eddy's answer from EK to my question about blocks for GTX 285,295 and 55nm 260's.Quote:
R0bert: Sure, we will make the blocks, as soon as we get the cards. ATM looking for a good connection to get the graphic card(s) ASAP.
Yup, they are released. :D
Some Norwegian shops do got them in stock allready. :D
We are already working on a block:

Ehhh, three threads  ;)
Well, that's a nice feature: you will be able to choose if the water should run parallel or one after another through the blocks.
Nice looking block cant wait to see how it performs
You can use elbow connectors. A twinConnect kit for this block won't work ;)
I remember with the old 9850 GX2's, people were able to fit a fullcover block inside the shell of the stock cooler. It looked really cool, hopefully they can do the same with these.
9850 GX2? What GPU is that? Shure you dont mean the 9800 GX2? :)
Something that confuses me about that AC block though. Why is there three threads? That's one to much for my advanced mathematic skills. :p:
But nice block though. Looking good. =)
they screw on the outside.
you take off the EVGA case the card has.
installation i bet will be near identical to the GX2
I have one, so im LOLing at the massive weight package these suckers are gonna come at again.
At times like you you call guys like Andy a WHORE for having horizontal mounted motherboard systems..
You know im just messing with ya andy, i love your banchetto, too bad it wont fit in my budget right now. :\
here this picture should clear it all up.
http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...a/IMG_0070.jpg
the cards sandwitch the block.
i bet you guys dean is already cooking something up from koolance. (dean common pwn us here!)
DD probably already has one made too for BFG. (DB you whore i know you got one show it off already)
Evga was pretty quick with their block last time. Seeing as they probably get their hands on the cards long before any of the aftermarket cooling guys can, i wouldnt be suprised to see another evga block out soon.
I realise this type of card makes for a big heavy block but for some reason i love the whole concept so cant wait for the BIG players to show their blocks.
Bring it on
Good to see AC rapid as ever!
I still like my 9800gx2 and Ek block. It's been running like a champ for months now. The Aqua Computer block looks pretty nice, and it's nice to see something so early.
The upper and lower copper blocks have their own waterchannels. So it is like two blocks in one, and you can decide how the water should run through them. For a parallel flow you will need a T-connector; otherwise the third thread is sealed with a cap which comes with the block.
That's a pretty cool design shoggy...
Do you have ETA?
Not for sure because Monday will be my first day in the company this year :D
Maybe at the end of the next week.
Damn I'm excited....
UNRIVALED!!!:rofl::rofl::rofl: :rofl::rofl::rofl: :rofl::rofl::rofl: :rofl::rofl::rofl: :ROTF::ROTF::ROTF: :ROTF::ROTF::ROTF: :ROTF::ROTF::ROTF: :ROTF::ROTF::ROTF:
I received an E-mail from EK today, and they said they would probably have a block for the GTX 295 ready within two weeks. :)
Hopefully. :)
Thanks lockbreaker for the info
$200 at least is my guess...Hard to believe why anyone would jump on this refresh.
Well I received confirmation today that we will have 285 and 295 blocks, we should see them available in 2-3 weeks :D.
No pictures yet though.
Come on Dean. :D
Show us some pics/skethces, even though you don't have any. :D
Swiftech has a good approach on the 4870 with the MCW60-4870. Maybe the same principle can be modified and applied to cut down on the amount of material needed.
Paid 1400$ for my 8800GTX OC2 and 2 Ek FC Blocks back in the days... So it should be around that price for Quad SLI... ?
Just my 2 cents. Two 280's will outperform a 295 @ about the same cost give or take a few bucks. The 295 is not worth the money and simply a way for nV to compete with ATI based on a single card solution.
I recently upgraded from two 8800 GTX's to two 280's mainly because I wanted to drive a 30" screen with all possible eye candy, and it worked.
nV always finds a way to support the SLI configs.
The 295 is a band-aid and a way to sell VC's. The VC producers always find a way to bridge the gap between the next gen proc's.
No matter what you do or what you build, the next gen is right around the corner. Once again just my 2 cents.
That was random. Attachment 92619
dont be hatin sniipe
so you cant read reviews? our systems are hardly equal... although I guess I'll go for it
read it and weep, you picked the wrong card: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=213789
Snipedog,
You really are a Fanboy. The 4870x2 is a very good card, but the GTX 295 seems to beat it in most of the reviews I've seen.
Personally, I hope ATI comes back with something better and the competition for the best card continues. Its the best thing for the end users.
Dude that review is the biggest piece of horse :banana::banana::banana: I've seen. Estimated benchmarks and testing on a unreleased or unleaked driver that probably hacked image quality down to get those improvements if they are even true. You have one review or one preview of something in your favor.. Big deal. Want me to show you 20 other reviews in the 295's favor? the title of the subject says it all "Computer Based"
The 295's on it's first or second driver release. Give em time to optimize. Why is it that these guys are the only place that have showed the results? How come anandtech, toms, pcgh, Hardocp, hardwarecanucks have'nt posted anything like this yet?
No these are reviews and not previews. I'm not a fanboy either way but just the sheer biased opinion you bring to every nvidia thread pisses me off. But i'm done with it also.

Hehe, too funny :D
Since I'm from Germany I know computerbase.de for sure and can only tell you that it is one of our biggest news and most detailed reviews site here.
Jason, half the links you supplied did not work, and the rest doesn't give a direct comparison to 4870x2. What gives?
I am getting 2 gtx 295 this coming week, so lets see how this goes jason....
Here's another link which compares the 295 to the 4870x2. I think their conclusion is fairly obvious.
http://www.guru3d.com/article/geforc...95-review-bfg/
The answer is clear, if you want the gtx295 to be the irrefutable best card in the world, just give one to snipe.
this thread was to talk about water blocks for the GTX 295 and not to talk about which card is best. can we stay on topic plz
Having both cards, I'll have to say that my 295GTX benches faster for over 80% of my games/situations. The only game that swings in ATI's favor consistently is Bioshock.
Brand loyalty be damned. Give me the best performing product. At the moment the 295GTX is the best card on the market for 80% of the games I play. My only complaint is the price. I would have hoped to have seen this card come in at $400, especially when the next gen cards are coming in the 3rd quarter.
Anyhow, who's gonna hit the market first with a WC block? I know AC and EK are working on one. Anyone have an ETA for US stores for their blocks? Also, will Swiftech or Dtek be releasing a block for this beast? Having a loud fan in my completely WC'ed system is really annoying me to no end.
I'm getting one - the waterblocks will come I think.
Danger-Den is making a block also. [DD] Jerm posted this on the website on Friday:
Quote:
We are doing the final test fits on the new Nvidia GTX295...hope to have this available late next week! Pictures will be posted hopefully in the next couple days!
The GTX285 will be soon after the GTX295. Just doing some final measurements on it :)
DD is getting better and better these days.
What was wrong with the Danger Den 8800GTX blocks????
Never had a problem with mine.
I have one on my 8800GTX now and at load it only gets up to 53c max and that's overclocked to 650?
A certain batch had microfracture leaks. In addition, the quality of the craftsmanship left something to be desired when compared to the work that then newcoming EK had created. Quite frankly, as an OG DD purchaser, I was greatly disappointed with the block and promptly resold it. Anyhow, that was then, I'm hoping their recent blocks have stood up well since I'll most likely pick up the first 295 block that hits the market.
I think I will be buying the one from Aquacomputer. That thing looks insane. :)
If it's not too pricey though..... :)
If you could afford the card, I am pretty sure WC price won't be a problem.
BFG is going the n00b wai by using Cool It stuff . . .ok if you are doing a SMALL case where you just do not have room for a proper radiator but the Phobos case is large enough to do proper water-cooling. Lame. This does not mean they will not still sell the GPUs with the blocks from the factory (different market guys). I doubt the Phobos will be long for this world anyways.
Is there something wrong with the MC-TDX? They are offering two 1366 variations (I am using the one with the chipset bottom).
I saw the DD block on a 295 this weekend. Their post 8800 blocks are totally different (they went back to the superior design they used before that series).
You can already preorder :)
Heh, preorder, without even a real picture :P
I don't kow how is with such direct advertising here in this forum... Admins?
OK now to real pictures... And the thing that newbies will probably like the most... Stand-offs.
PS: The picture of the contact is not the real contact that block will achieve when mounted with stand-offs. It is only for informational purpose.
sweet!
Sweet looking block Eddy!
In for two Eddy. Now get them shipped over here Stateside asap!
Just as an FYI, the Koolance blocks should be available on the website this weekend. Also watch your favorite resellers if we are out of stock ;)
And what will it cost me then
Ooh, blocks look nice.
Aqua-pcs.co.uk noe have the EK block on Pre-order :D
Currently we have just tooooo much work here :D
Before I left I took these two pictures:

http://ac.shoggy.de/aquagrafx_gtx295_2.jpg
Can u explain teh 3 hole config on top?
The only 'aesthetic' problem I see with the current layout, people not running inverted ATX (as shown) will have an upside-down logo on the block :SQuote:

Don't worry. The final version will have the "correct" orientation.
For our interal use we put it this way.
