You seemed to need alot of volts and your temps are much higher than others reported.
Why such a big difference between core #1-4 temps and overall core.
Yeah agree on the vcore...I thought most 4Ghz air results were less than 1.6vcore? Or am I just imagining things now.

Do any of you have data regarding PWM efficiency on motherboard (especially this MSI)? We would be able to work out actual power consumption of CPU that way.
Anyhow it looks like using this stepping AMD if wanted could release one more speed bin @3.2GHz and still be under 125W and with 140W 3.4GHz should be also possible.
Besides you need to love this CPU with C'n'Q enabled idling @1GHz/1V :)

Obviously the temps are not being reported correctly. Still good clocks though and if it is stable for a few hours the temps are not the most important factor. I defo think that denebs temp sensors are not as accurate as i7's.Quote:

1,45V limit is probably only for X4 Phenoms (I). On X3 you can also set voltage to 1,6V in the BIOS, but 1,55V or more require better cooling for motherboard power section (i.e. additional fan).Quote:
