Nice work Charles! Is the vcore reading in the CPU-Z correct?
-
bandwidth FTW! hahaha love it
-
Yes the vcore is correct he has stated so in the other thread

Oh yes, because 32M is really the only benchmark worth to bench. In fact, if you can't run your 32M under 8 minutes, you're a lousy overclocker ...
There are many other benchmarks out there that can be run faster on an E8600 at full speed :).
-
Yep, the current 32M WR is this one :)
Then again, it is a question of days, if not hours, for this WR to be broken with the new gen CPU's :)

Massman, do you indeed think so? Ok, 1M... and maybe Pifast and 3d2k1 as well. 3d2k3 is buggy, 05 - cpu limited, 06 needs more than 2 cores, Vantage is all about cpu multithreading, Wprime. What's else left on hwbot to bench where Nehalem wouldn't own? :p:
-
Did you see me say that all other benchmarks are still doable with the E8600? No.
In the past, new technology meant new high scores, look at the C2D and even the A64, benchmarking records were set at unbelievable heights just because of the new tech. Now, we can actually enjoy S775 benching for some time as the Core I7 doesn't touch the frequencies of the E8600 yet.
If you don't accept that the world of hardware is constantly changing, you'll be stuck in 2008 forever. :p:
-
MInd these new scores come at one hell of a price. Enough of a gain to be worth it? That comes down to the individual :)
-

Indeed, I didn't ;) But I quoted you saying "many benchmarks", and I wanted to know which these "many" are :D
Then again, I agree, I'm kinda "stuck in 2008", and I'm going to remain there some significant time in 2009 as well, I think. Reasons for it have been debated over and over again ever since the 3D Vantage introduction, and there's no need to start it once again in public :)
P.S. Fugger, bring on the real 32M carnage, we know you can it ;)
-
wow very nice 32m "initial" FUGGER  now with some more juice go for the first sub 7min bro' :cheer: :D
-
It seems like just yesterday sub 8 minutes was cracked, now sub 7 is in the very near horizon it seems!
-
Nice run fugger! :up::up:
Think she's got more in her?
-
Updated, picked up a few seconds, still working it higher.
-
kick ass man
i like what i see with those 1866 CAS8 sticks mate ;)
cant wait to torture mine
change over to XP dude...i'm sure you can pickup a few more seconds :D
-
Nice work FUGGER, amazingly close to 7m !! Congrats
-
Grats for WR :yepp: , guess you wait post it with a even better time

Very good work fugger .
This combo is nice .
-
Very nice work Charles! I suppose this kit carries Samsung ICs!?
Keep it up
-
Crazy mem clocks there Charles. :D
-
"wow" is the only word appropriate for this thread

Thanks for giving the new Dominators a proper treatment
-
That's some impressive numbers. 25K bandwidth and 20ns is simply awesome. Very nice ram to say the least.
-
that bandwidth just gives me goose bumps!!!!!! :yepp::p::up::D;):shocked::shocked:
-
as massman have said to one before, try with sisoft sandra, everest is reading wrong
you should see 35k+ Charles
-
Crazy time :)
now I wish I had a chip like dat :P
-
-
Very nice Fugger
Any chance we get to see everest ram copy and write bandwidth?

I'm doubtful. You've seen 35K?!?

Thanks a lot, and impressive result :D
-
hot damn - unreal bandwidth and latency down to 18
SMOKINNN! :D
-
so, guys ... do you have enough bandwidth now?
heheheh
-
Wow 2300+ cas8... amazing clocks... Do you have a sub 7 up your sleeve? :D
-
-
crazy BW !!! and corsair is rock :rocker:
-
Holy CRAP !!! :eek2: Sub7min is for sure already done :yepp:
2350 CAS 8  That filthy comb-looking Corsair memory, is wicked sick ! :D

nice man
loving the latency there
also 32M and CPU clocks
just great benching & great hardware allround
-
yeaaaaaap...
just waiting for sub 7' now..
-
That's some sick scores, but nothing unexpected from a guy like you!
-
great result, congrats :)

35k+ have a look http://www.ocxtreme.org/forumenus/sh...?t=4114&page=5
sisoft is reading right, as Massman is reffering to in the thread
-
-
FUGGER
You`re insane man :) Imba job.
-
Just saw that you finally posted your result on hwbot! Nice time, and amazing bandwidth! :)
Congrats for the WR!
-
And plz post some results in the SPi 32M Low clock challenge ... You'll definitely break all records ;)
-
35K...
I should rub out a 4xK and post it to hwbot.org
I have another new beautiful board in today, Ill be fired up again tonight.
Shooting for 6m and then I will jump back on 3D. With latency like this I should get a decent bump in scores.
Thanks guys, still pushing it hard.
-
You mean you are aiming for sub7sec SPi 1M ?
-
My bad, I meant sub 7 minutes.
-
Ah ok :p:, 'cause sub7sec at ~5200 isn't doable at all :D
sub7min SPi 32M is eeeek, hope that everything goes well ! :yepp:
-
-
if you had memset handy for this chipset you would smash the scores you have now very easy
i'm sure there is still plenty of improvement left in tightening those subtimings :D
-
Yeah good luck FUGGER :yepp: 'n a BigTHX to Charles
-
Spent this evening working on efficiency:
